BREAKING NEWS:
It has been reported that the release of the new ‘For The Love of the Game’ Olympic edition of the Air Jordan VII will be pushed back from its original August 7th date to the following week to coincide with the Hall of Fame induction of the 1992 Olympic Dream Team. The new release date will be Friday, August 13th, although the distribution details are still a little unclear. It appears that this will be a limited Quickstrike release, and will, in fact, be hitting US retailers, but you might wanna ask around to see if your local spot will be getting them. Those shoes would look better without that heart design on it. But then if they were, those damned resellers would be charging 400 dollars for them, which is 100 dollars more than the 2004 currently costs now.
I'm waiting on those Bordeaux 7s in March 2011, which still makes no sense to me. I would buy them right now for the 130 price tag, which they might make 150 dollars for no reason other than its a retro. I hate how difficult it is just to buy a pair of sneakers. Why did JB even bother with the 2001 sample of the Bordeauxs if they weren't going to release them in 2010?, which is 9 YEARS later.
They haven't released a new version of the all black raptor 7s for 8 YEARS. The one in the pack is garbage. I'm still considering the overpriced, at 235 dollars shipped, 3M V's, but that price really pisses me off. If I save my money for the tentative Bordeaux release,by that time, resellers will be charging even more for the Vs and JB might decide to be annoying and put them in a pack or really overpriced them or not release them AGAIN. All of this is pissing me off, this is not what sneaker culture is supposed to be about.
People are only going to buy this because its the damn Olympic colorway, no one cares about quality, and JB is taking advantage of that by using cheaper materials and charging way too much money. A design on the shoe isn't worth 150-175 dollars. The quality on the 3M Vs look really bad.
I've seen them in person, but the only size foot locker had left was a 9.5 and I hate the red pair.
Besides I'm a size 10 which apparently is the reason that its nearly impossible for me to buy any retro pair as it is for those who wear bigger sizes. I'm so tired of the resellers.
Jordans just aren't worth the trouble or hassle anymore. I might just keep my 240 dollars and the reseller can keep those crappy quality V's. Its very likely I can buy something of better quality for half of that price. if I can't get those Bordeauxs and hopefully a 2011 version of the raptors whenever the hell those will come out, then I just won't bother. I outright refuse to pay double retail which is even more when you look at Jordans wholesale pricing. I payed 90 dollars for SBs which will probably last me 10 years longer than those 240 dollar 3M Vs and their extremely low quality, and I'm not talking about creasing, I'm talking about the yellowing, separation and deterioration that WILL happen in 1 year or two.

I have the 2004 and mine still fresh just mad with all these jordans quick strikes not enough pairs. I had better luck wit the yeezy's and I have two pair of those. I didn't write my life story damn it, I was doing something people don't do anymore, which is look at how JB and Nike have gone too far. If the shoes aren't up to the quality, they should be considered b-grade and shouldn't cost over 100, but everyone is buying anyway and resellers are selling these lousy b-grade retros nowadays like they're actually worth the money in quality. Why wait 8, 9, 10, over 20 years to re-release? That's doesn't make money. What's making them money right now are the fusions and all the hybrid stuff.. I still think there's no need for that heart design, I would have preferred they just re-retro the Olympic 7 the way it was in 2004, which was 6 years ago, but then it would cost damn near 170, and resellers would sell it for double that. Just watch, JB might release a "regular" Olympic 7 with no extra design just like with the Infrared crap they pulled last month, and everyone will want that instead, and I'll admit, If it was a "regular" Olympic 7, I I would try to get a pair at retail, if it was GR and didn't sell out instantly. I just want a pair of 2011 Bordeauxs, a pair of re-retroed 2011 Raptor 7s, GR and made in high quantities. No more quickstrikes or limited releases.
