2K Sports has been making some of the best-playing NBA simulations since the company was created as the Visual Concepts sub-label of Sega. Whether NBA 2K11 turns out to be the greatest of all time remains to be seen, but one thing’s for sure: the GOAT will be in the game. Michael Jordan makes his first video game appearance since the NBA Street series in the latest NBA 2K game, and just like the promo images of the cover, he’s rocking the ‘Playoff’ Air Jordan XIIs. They look to be pixel-perfect, save the white Jumpman on the tongue, which is actually red on the Playoff Twelves. Sad thing is, since I still only have PS2, i still play Street '01. Classic right there. Shaq and Kobe on the Lakers, Hakeem and Stevie Francis on the Rockets, Stockton/Malone on the Jazz. Good stuff.

with the 12's in the game not being exactly like the playoff 12's, i wouldn't be surprised if they bring those to life as an actually colorway…With a black nubuck upper as oppose to a leather upper

Dude Geoffrey don't know what you're talking about. Who was Bill Russell going against back in his time? Mostly a bunch of white dudes. Different game, can't compare. First off, you're calling MJ overrated? Dude, you literally couldn't even spell the word 'overrated'. You can say Lebron is the best, but he has nothing to show for it. I'd rather have a NBA Finals MVP over regular season MVP anyday……Man, can't believe you said MJ is overrated…..wow.

i dont know about that but i do think jordan is the best . It's still debatable.

i can't lie kinda think MJ is a little overrated. he is the GOAT but the superstar calls he was getting definitely helped him a lot. MJ is still the greatest to play the game though.

Bill Russell is only the greatest winner in nba history, not the greatest player in nba history. So based on your logic, Horry is better than Jordan? The greatest player ever would have to be 1) Jordan and 1a) Wilt. Lebron doesnt even belong in this conversation. Know your damn history kid!!!

why would he be 100. that's just stupid. he should be at least a 96 though. it's hard to get over 96 realistically. the best player in the league now should be like 93-94. realistically you would need to be perfect at everything to be 100.

I'd take Shaq in his prime over Russell. Nothing against Bill but he played in an era where there was NO competition.
Bron is an immense individual talent but he's not even my all-time All-NBA first or second team.

I think MJ's gonna be on the 90s legends roster and the bulls 98 team. I think there gonna bring back some old teams like the 98 jazz team, 2000 lakers team, etc. But ofcourse he wont be on the 2010-11 bulls team. (But everyone will try to move him there)

the shorts length drives me crazy, i could play with 85-89 bulls because of the short length
