LA-based photographer Atiba Jefferson has seen and snapped it all in the 15 years since he founded Atiba Photos. A book celebrating this visually stimulating decade-and-a-half will be yours free if you cop a pair of the Atiba Jefferson x éS Square Two, a vulc-soled lowtop with some vague similarities to the Nike SB P-Rod 2.5. The upper is a simple black nubuck, but the gum rubber sole is clear on the bottom and reveals photos of éS team riders Rodrigo TX and Rick McCrank while the insoles feature photos of Bobby Worrest and Danny Garcia. Click the jump below for more photos and check for these at your local éS retailers.

Some people still like to call sneakers ‘tennis shoes’, and in this particular case, they’re actually right. The Nike Sweet Ace 83 (as it’s known in Europe; simply Ace 83 here in the States) is a throwback to what court kicks looked like before the advent of the Air Trainer 1. This particular pair goes with the lifestyle-oriented vulcanized/autoclaved sole, which adds a grey stripe for balance on this mostly black and white leather lowtop. Another nice low-pro look for summer, these Ace 83s are available from Paris’ colette.

After a nice duo of pairs for the summer season that blended nylon and suede, here’s a look at a two-pack of Gourmet Diciottos that are fit for fall. These Fall 2010 releases are both done in premium suede from toe to heel, with the blue pair adding tonal stitches while a black pair adds white to match their soles. Both editions come with tonal waxed cotton laces and should be available at select Gourmet retailers soon. It doesn’t take Lord Tariq to realize that “If it wasn’t for the Bronx,” no ‘Five Boroughs’ Pack would be complete. Having previewed the Manhattan version just a few hours ago, here’s a look at the upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘Bronx Borough’ edition. These AF1 Lows are built of wool, tumbled leather, a chenille Swoosh and satin lining, made to resemble varsity jackets. While there are enough NY teams to make a shoe for each, there is no affiliation with any of those teams, they are just made in fresh colorways for each Borough. Be sure to stick with Sneaker News for updates on the entire Nike Air Force 1 5 Boroughs Pack. via BX Sports
Update: We’ve just received word that the whole pack is designed by DJ Clark Kent.

There’s an ‘Advanced’ version on the way with a sleek midfoot strap, but before those hit retail, here’s a look at the new Air Jordan L’Style II. An update from last year’s model with the crazy jigsaw puzzle piece-like closure, the L’Style II comes to you in a Jordan Brand favorite: black patent leather. The entire upper is blacked out, save the ‘JORDAN’ tongue insignia, which matches a white/white sole for a nice clean look you might be able to pass off as a dress shoe. Check out more images after the jump and grab a pair today from StepToRun on eBay.

It’s time to bring the Nike Air Force 1 back to where it got hot. There’s a reason why the Air Force 1 is nicknamed the “Uptowns”, and now this newly released Nike Air Force 1 Low showing love to the borough of Manhattan is a match made in heaven. In conjunction with the upcoming World Basketball Festival events in NYC, the Nike Air Force 1 Low Manhattan features a wine upper with a grey “carpeted” chenille swoosh and piping on the no-sew construction of the shoe. Reportedly designed by DJ Clark Kent, this pair is part of the special new pack of Nike Air Force 1s that will honor the history and influence of New York City basketball culture. These will be available in very limited quantities at select Nike Sportswear retailers such as WEST NYC, so head there now to pick up these limited kicks. Stick with Sneaker News for more on the ‘Five Boroughs’ pack later this week.

Philadelphia 76ers do-it-all everyman Andre Iguodala recently attended the Nike All-Asia Basketball Camp to give some pointers to the campgoers and run a few drills with the youngsters. Iggy dipped into his own Nike closet as he was seen sporting the Nike Air Foamposite One Dirty Copper colorway. During a short interview, Iguodala talked about his sneaker collection, touting the White/Red Air Jordan XI Low as his favorite Jordan shoe. He did express his disappointment in being unable to cop any of the Air Jordan Premio releases, simply because those limited releases don’t come in Andre’s size 16 feet! With the Premio IX and 25th Anniversary XI in hands and a number of other Jordans sitting on his lap, Iguodala revealed his love for kicks while showing off what he already has in his stash. Check out the gallery of images after the jump to see Iggy in some Copper Foams as well as the pile of 2010 Jordan releases! via US10.

The Air Jordan XIII is widely considered among the top performing Jays on-court, and here’s another look at the upcoming retro that would have matched the Eastern Conference’s All Star uniforms, had the NBA not opted for an MLB-style look in 1998. Forever known for their Flint Grey suede sections, the Flint AJXIIIs were the earliest example of Nike using ballistic nylon. On this pair, reflective 3M threads are woven into an otherwise blue nylon ‘dimple’ panel, a look that’s repeated on the Bred XIIIs. Check out some new images after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for updates on what’s currently a November 2010 scheduled release. via Kenlu

It’s been one of the hottest summers but the cooler Fall season is just around the corner. Take a look at what Nike SB has in store for us for the upcoming back-to-school season; a larger focus is clearly on thicker layers, as we see crewneck sweatshirts and button-downs to replace the light t-shirts we’ve all been wearing. Two simple colorways of a Nike SB varsity jacket will also be available for your outermost layer. Some new headgear will also drop – new colorways of the classic fitted as well as some dark tones of a cable-knit beanie cap. Check out the Nike SB Apparel for August 2010 after the jump and expect these to hit your local Nike SB account soon.

Soulja Boy paid a visit to BET’s 106 & Park last week to promote his third studio album, Dre, which is due out on October 5th. He showed up wearing a preppy outfit matched with a pair of White DC Admiral sneakers that were a part of the DC Life Collection. While Soulja Boy’s kicks were pretty tame for us at Sneaker News, we were definitely impressed with the Motorsports Air Jordan VI that Terrance J. wore during the show. It seems that more often times than not when one rapper or another visits 106 & park, Terrance’s kick game is always better. The last time Drake visited 106 & Park, Terrance was rocking a pair of Air Yeezy’s! Check out more pictures from Soulja Boy’s visit after the jump…
