Michael Lau x Nike SB Blazer High Unreleased Sample

Longtime Nike SB collaborator Michael Lau showed off an unreleased sample at his recent MiXTRA SHOE.SHOP (SAMPLE) show, a BMX-inspired Blazer High.  The ‘BMX Pack’ from 2008 released with the Trickstar Blazer High and Dunk Low, plus Lau’s ‘China’ Blazers in bright yellow with red accents.  The white pair pictured above features the same sunray stitching around the heels, but an all-white construction makes for a much subtler outcome.  Check out more shots after the jump and let us know whether you think these or the released edition is better.  via HB

Nike Air Foamposite Pro Electric Green Black | Spring 2011

Last June, as the school year was coming to an end (for some) and summer vacation was beginning its reign, Sneaker News dropped some great Foamposite info to keep our readers excited for the next few months. In addition to confirming a Spring 2011 release of the ‘Penny’ Foams in Dark Neon Royal as well as a new Metallic Pewter colorway, Sneaker News also released information regarding an Electric Green colorway with a colorway that at the time, was left to the imagination. Our initial hypothesis of a ‘Kryptonate’ related colorway looks to be  a truth (barring a complete change or even a scrap); check out these preliminary images of the Nike Air Foamposite Pro in Electric Green and Black, set for a tentative limited Spring 2011 release. The upper features a radioactive green on the Foamposite, giving the shoe even more of its trademark space-boot look. The colorway is almost a “reverse” of the Black/Bright Cactus Foamposite One that released in late 2007. So, what do you think of this colorway? Awesome idea or just a bit too much? Let us know. and stick with Sneaker News because we’ll keep you updated. via Kenlu.

Air Jordan Force Fusion IV (4) Black Laser

In 2005, Jordan Brand released two limited edition special colorways of the Air Jordan IV. Both featured classic color-combos of the AJIV – one after the White/Varsity Red ‘Mars’ and the other after the classic Black/Medium Grey – but with a special touch; the uppers of both featured intricate lasering that was found on the in-step strap of the Air Jordan XX. Both pairs of the Air Jordan IV Laser were an online-only release and came packaged with a hat and a t-shirt, and today have a value above $350 in the open market. The highly sought after Laser IV is considered to be one of the best Air Jordans of the decade and with limited numbers and this upcoming colorway of the Air Jordan Force Fusion is surely to take that same title among the Fusions.

Here’s a look at the Air Jordan Force Fusion 4 Laser, which features a colorway taken from the 2005 Black Laser; the upper features the sophisticated lasering touch on a black nubuck based, with cement grey lace wingtips and heel, sitting atop a black midsole and cement grey bottom sole.  Many of the Fusions we’ve seen thus far have merely taken colorway options from the OG Air Jordan catalog so this Laser AJF IV is a nice addition to the quickly growing AJF line. Check out the images after the jump and let us know what you think of the colorway. via SH.

Nike Sportswear New Arrivals @ 21 Mercer

With back to school season rigth around the corner, it’s a good time for a whole mess of new Nike Sportswear sneakers.  First up are a couple of Nike SB mainstays, the Stefan Janoski in a ‘Tiffany’ colorway and the vulc-soled P-Rod 2.5 hybrid in an array of earthy browns.  A simple green-on-white VNTG All Court low eschews the pre-yellowed soles we’ve come to expect from Nike Vintage drops, a welcome change given the current trends.  Moving up to midtops, there’s a OG colorway of the Air Trainer Max ’91, an entrant from Nike 6.0 in the form of the Zoom Mogan Mid 2, and a new colorway of the woolen-style Air Royal Mid VT.  Last but certainly not least are two Swoosh legends, a black and red Air Force 1 Low and the Metallic Gold Air Max 97 retro.  Pictures of all of these follow the jump and you can find em today at select NSW retailers including 21 Mercer.

Nike Air Max Uptempo 97 Quickstrike Urban Federation Edition

Rarely have we seen a shoe so thoroughly better its OG color run with some retros 14 years later, but the Nike Air Max Uptempo ’97 is playing with some huge momentum in 2010.  Fresh off revealing an insane Wolf Grey and Orion Blue colorway complete with gradients on the midsole jewels, here’s a new Quickstrike with some intense Cranberry flavoring.  This metallic pearlized red finish screams ‘Foamposite’ and looks excellent with black accents and an icey sole.  Seattle’s Rock Paper Scissors will have these QS Uptempo 97s on Tuesday, so stick with Sneaker News for the latest Nike Quickstrike release dates.

Nike 6.0 Blazer Mid Light Chocolate White Floral Graphic

More often than not, what separates two identical shoe colorways or motifs is attention to detail. This Nike 6.0 product features detail aplenty, whte perforations on the swoosh and heel-tab and an intricately embossed synthetic leather upper featuring a floral print so perfectly done that it places you on the beach of a Hawaiian lodge resort. You only see this kind of work at the hands of an expert woodworker, using age-old tools and skills learned only through generations of practice. With the fat-tongue returning to the Dunk Low, some have designated 2010 the year of SB’s return, but looks like 6.0 is about to take its place with this Nike Blazer leading the charge. Check out the extra detailed images after the jump and cop these now from Nikestore.

Air Jordan Flight SC 1 – Black – Red – Grey | Available

The Air Jordan Flight SC-1 has that quintessentially ’80s look thanks to familiar design components from golden age Jays.  From the Air Jordan III-like sole, to AJIV-inspired eyelets and a ribbed heel reminiscent of the AJII, the Flight SC-1 is a modern look back to classic aesthetics.  Interesting, then, to see this new pair employ black patent leather on the toe, tongue and wing area, as the first time this material ever showed up on a basketball shoe was 1995′s Air Jordan XI.  A nice retrospective look at the first half of the Air Jordan franchise, you can cop these Flight SC-1s exclusively at FinishLine.

Nike Hyperfuse White Black | Unreleased Sample

The Nike Zoom Hyperfuse is quite simply an amazing shoe.  Not just because its groundbreaking ultra-breathable Fuse upper is one of the best innovations of the last decade along with Flywire, but because it looks dope in pretty much any colorway you can imagine.  From the crazy tie-dye/moth wing designed joints to simple two-toned designs, the Hyperfuse never fails to impress, with the above pictured pair falling into the latter category.  Rarely has a black-on-white shoe been so exciting, but unfortunately, they appear to be a sample of the unreleased variety.  Check out more shots after the jump and grab the pair in US mens size 9 today from checkmarksthespot on eBay.

Nike Delta Force High AC Black Grey Maroon White

You can’t go wrong with a vulc-soled update to a classic basketball sneaker, and here’s one with a colorway that’s absolutely perfect for the transition into autumn.  The Nike Delta Force High AC features a nice mix of black/grey/white and maroon, with the grey underlay comprised of a wooly felt material that resembles the body of a varsity letterman’s jacket.  And that’s a perfect textile upon which to add the new interlocking ‘SW’ logo that designates these as a Nike Sportswear release.  Check out more shots after the jump and grab a pair of these Delta Force High ACs from FinishLine.

Nike Air Max Command White Black Varsity Red Dark Grey

Nike introduced the Air Max Skyline in late 2008 as a 21st-Century take on a retro-style shoe. Some may have even mistaken it as an overlooked model of the 90′s, but the Skyline was certified brand new but with clear inspiration taken from the earlier-model Air Max and Nike Air runners. The recently introduced Nike Air Max Command also shares that styling, using various panels on the upper with a white mesh inner-most layer, a flatter bottom sole, and the tri-window Air unit seen on the Air Max Skyline. This new colorway of the White, Black, Varsity Red, and Dark Grey dropped recently so check out the extra images to take a look and cop a pair from smt_footwear_695 on eBay.
