A few weeks back, we gave you a look at a collaborative effort between Nike and sports video game juggernauts, EA Sports. The result of the team up is a Florida Gators-inspired Tim Tebow PE edition of Nike’s new Trainer 1.2 Mid. It was unknown at the time if these would ever hit retail, but an update via the NikeStore Twitter, has recently confirmed that the Tebow Trainer 1.2 PE will be available to the public after all. The shoe will release this coming Friday, August 6th, alongside a Tebow Knows t-shirt. Stay tuned for further availability, but if these are a must-have for you, better plan on staking out NikeStore later this week for now. via Freshness

Here’s a new Nike Blazer Mid 09 that’ll make a nice match for Pittsburgh people. With its Steelers and/or Pirates and/or Penguins colorway resembling the large run of LIVESTRONG collabo releases, these Blazer Mids bring a lil something extra to the table. The faux foxing band that distinguishes Mid-cut Blazers from the highs is done in the same yellow shade as the laces, while a gridiron-like stripe pattern on the heel tab reminds you that NFL season is right around the corner. Whether you’re in southwest PA or abroad, grab a pair today from NikeStore.

LeBron James hosted a party at one of Las Vegas’ hottest night clubs, LAVO, on Friday night. King James, who has been the talk of the 2010 Summer Free Agent class, recently signed a multimillion dollar deal with the Miami Heat, a decision that left fans in Cleveland and other cities either enraged or in shock. Since the Miami Heat made their big splash by signing James, Bosh, and re-signing Dwyane Wade, much of the talk has centered around Chris Paul of the New Orleans Hornets and his desire to be traded. Both James and Paul were at LAVO on Friday night and each came with a fresh pair of kicks; for James, it was the recently released “Grape” Air Max 95 and for Paul, who’s one of the few Jordan Brand Team members, it was a pair of the Air Jordan IX’s in Black and Citrus.

Mike Schmidt is long regarded as one of the greatest third-basemen to ever play the game. He’s in the 500 club and played his entire career for the Philadelphia Phillies, anchoring the 1980 team to a World Series Championship. Mike Schmidt was also one of the five baseball greats chosen as part of the Nike Trainer 1.2 Mid Legends Pack, which also includes Bo Jackson, Ken Griffey Jr., Nolan Ryan, and Albert Pujols. Schmidt’s PE is colored after the throwback Phillies uniform with a special logo on the heel, featuring Schmidt’s number and the year in which he led the Phillies to World Series glory in a similar fashion to the Phillies logo. The Nike Trainer 1.2 Mid Mike Schmidt PE is now available at select Nike retailers so check out the extra images after the jump and let us know what you think of the colorway. via NT.

Having previewed five colorways slated as Fall 2010 releases, here’s a look at the very first Nike 6.0 Melee lowtop to hit retailers. These Melees differ from all the others we’ve seen with its use of a photorealistic camouflage print on the upper. This pattern looks great with black accents and a white phylon sole, but it’s the eight-piece herringbone sole that’ll make these good for both style and function. Check out more shots after the jump and grab your pair of the Gorge Green Melee 6.0 today from Size?

We’ve seen a ton of sneaker inspired art over the past couple years, but this has gotta be right up there with the coolest. Plenty of us have created a diorama or some other school project from our old shoe boxes, but when New Balance hired creative agency Canoe to build their ad campaign for the upcoming 2011 lifestyle collection, we learned how far you can take a cardboard rectangle. Reproducing the famous Flimby factory, this exhibition first showed up at the most recent Bread & Butter and will soon tour across the United Kingdom in honor of NB’s ‘Made in UK’ styles. Click the jump below to see the entire Flimby factory with trucks and all the details — all made out of New Balance shoeboxes!

Like the original Nike Hyperdunk did, the recently released Nike Hyperdunk 2010 will come in a drop-top convertible version sometime soon. We haven’t seen the Hyperdunk 2010 on any NBA players’ feet just yet but that will change once the FIBA World Championships start. This sample colorway of the upcoming Nike Hyperdunk 2010 Low features Cool Grey on the upper in a matte finish with patent leather on the heel. The outsole is white as is the swoosh. Also, like the Nike Zoom Kobe V Team USAB, this colorway of the Hyperdunk 2010 Low features trail-inspired laces, using a white base with grey dotting. There are many more detailed images after the jump so check ‘em out and pick up this size 9 sample pair from cigar0330 on eBay.

The Nike Delta Force went from strong basketball shoe to sleek lifestyle shoe when Nike gave it the vulc-sole treatment not long ago. This new colorway combined a black synthetic leather upper with a white swoosh with black contrast stitching as well as a pebbled leather ankle collar. In addition to the black stripe on the midsole, a gum toe-cap has been added to give the shoe a classic Chuck Taylor-esque feel. These just dropped at Finishline so head if this style meets your needs.
