Air Jordan 2010 Playground Outdoor For The Love Of The Game | New Images

If you checked out Sneaker News’ coverage of the Jordan Brand Fall 2010 Basketball Preview ‘For The Love Of The Game‘, you will probably remember the Air Jordan 2010 Outdoor in the unmistakable University Blue colorway. In fact, the entire Love Of The Game collection was gorgeous to say the very least, with the Tar Heels inspired color-ups. The 2010 Outdoor, like the Alpha 1 Outdoor, is a ready-for-the-elements pair of basketball kicks meant for the grit and grime not found on an indoor hardwood court. Featuring ventilation holes aplenty as well as cross-instep straps reminiscent of the Air Jordan VIII, the 2010 Outdoor is true testament to Jordan Brand’s commitment to performance excellence. Check out the great gallery of detailed images and stick with Sneaker News for release info. via showshoes.com.

Nike Air Max2 CB 94 Ink Varsity Purple | Release Info

Charles Barkley has publicly bashed LeBron James for teaming up with another NBA superstar in his prime, which, ironically enough, might be part of why Sir Charles never won an NBA title himself.  One of the 10 or so best to have never won a chip, This new Nike Air Max 2 CB ’94 celebrates the closest he ever got to the Larry O’Brien trophy, while leading the Phoenix Suns.  These joints go with a tonal purple approach, combining Ink and Varsity Purple into a package that’s a pearlescent finish away from being ‘Eggplant’.  Check out more shots after the jump and get ready for these to hit House of Hoops next Saturday, July 31st.

Nike Air Max Light Wolf Grey White Mineral Blue Deep Royal | Sample

In early 2004, Nike dropped a Silver Surfer Pack that featured the Nike Air Max 90 and two colorways of the Nike Dunk Low. Both featured a silver/blue colorway with a metallic mesh toe and the intergalactic traveler’s face stamped on the insole. Definitely one of the more memorable releases of the year and surely one of the rarer finds today. Here’s a sample pair of the Nike Air Max Light featuring a grey/blue colorway similar to those Marvel Superhero inspired shoes; featuring a Wolf Grey suede upper and a metallic soft mesh of a different kind on the toe, a mineral blue lace placket and Air unit, there’s no doubt this colorway – had it released alongside the Dunk Low and Air Max 90 – would’ve been a hot collector’s item. Check out the detailed images of this sample pair and let’s hope this great Air Max Light colorway hurdles the Euro wall and releases in the states. If not, you can jump the gun and cop this size 9 sample from cigar0330 on eBay.

Nike Dunk High Premium Dark Charcoal Solar Flare

Many of the recent Dunk High Premium releases, like this recently release Dark Charcoal/Yellow pair, have featured more than the simple synthetic leather uppers; coming in a slick canvas upper with a Livestrong-esque Black-and-yellow upper, this Dunk High Premium is the proud recipient of Zoom Air cushioning for that SB Dunk High feel. Sitting on top of a white midsole and gum outsole, this Dunk High is one of the cleanest and simplest releases of a shoe that’s seen countless colorways over the years. With a black tonal swoosh and yellow inner lining, a proper mix of colors is displayed. There are extra images after the jump so give them a look and buy a pair now over the TGWO.

Nike SB Dunk Low Chrome Ball Elephant Custom by CemeteryDrive

There was a custom Elephant print laser etching machine on hand at Jordan Brand’s 23/25 Experience at this year’s NBA All Star Weekend in Dallas, but what can a sneakerhead do if he can’t get his hands on a time machine?  How about substituting a soldering iron for a laser etcher, as N-SB.org member CemetaryDrive did with the recently released Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Chromeball Incident’.  The Chromeball lows were designed by Neil Blender to resemble one of the original Airwalk Enigma colorways, but CD went ‘Supreme’ on these by drawing out an Elephant pattern on the overlay with a Pigma Micron marker and then etched out the krinkly lines with a trusty ol’ Craftsman iron.  The results speak for themselves, which begs the question: which other Nike SB Dunks would look dope with Elephant print customization?

Gourmet Dieci C Fall 2010 Colorways

It’s been quite a while since we saw new pairs of the asymmetrically-laced Gourmet Dieci hightops.  A little under a year, in fact, and these new Fall 2010 releases are similar to last fall’s, albeit with different materials.  Whereas last year’s mixed leather and suede in all-black, this year’s blackout Diecis are done in premium canvas just like the pack of il Dues we showed you yesterday.  There’s also a grey pair with a white sole, so click the jump below to see more shots of both pairs and stick with Sneaker News for updates on their release.  via Dunk.com.cn

DC Shoes Cadet Chukka + Sector 7 Stone Blue Pack

After unveiling a series of collaborations early in 2010, DC Shoes has been relatively quiet for the rest of this year.  If they were putting in work, it surely paid off, as a new silhouette from the DC Life collection is one of the nicest lifestyle sneakers we’ve seen all year.  The new DC Shoes Cadet Chukka combines the familiar eye plackets you’d find on any good chukka with a plimsoll-like toe on a two-tone design to capture pretty much everything that’s hot right now with casual sneakers.  There’s also a similarly hewn Sector 7 TXSE lowtop, and both should hit select DC Life retailers shortly.  via HS

Married to the Mob x Vans Unreleased Samples

Both Vans and Married to the Mob are no strangers to collaborative work, but here’s a look at a tag-team effort that will never hit retail.  The MTTM x Vans pack pictured above was slated for a fall 2009 release, but for whatever reason, is destined to never make it past that stage.  Had they released, you would have seen three pairs in black, white or red patent leather, each of which is embossed with symbols like the Married to the Mob logo, four leaf clovers and kissy lips.  Check out more shots after the jump and let us know if you would have bought these.

Nike SB Zoom Bruin Cappuccino White Red

The Nike SB Bruin was a later addition to the Nike SB footwear line, but the Bruin itself is considered as one of the OGs. The Bruin was the first ever Nike Basketball shoe and after a brief retro in the early-mid 90s, the Bruin came back as part of the Nike SB camp. The low-profile, low-cut shoe is now considered vastly outdated in basketball but fits right in with the skate-shoe demands – thus making it a popular choice among the Nike SB team. This newest colorway – actually an August 2010 release – features a rich cappuccino brown upper with a white contrasting lace and swoosh, with a fitting red inner lining and bottom sole. Luckily for us, these dropped early over at Flatspot so head there to cop yours.

Nike Hyperfuse Low Cool Grey Black | Sample

The recently released Nike Hyperdunk 2010 and Hyperfuse were the centerpiece of the Nike Fall 2010 Basketball Preview, and it was only a matter of time before a Low version of each was released. Near May’s end, Sneaker News showed you a Varsity Royal, Black, and White colorway of the Hyperfuse Low that received a ton of positive vibes, and not long ago a bright blue pair of the Hyperfuse Low was seen during a special event at Niketown in Chicago. Check out this new colorway of the Hyperfuse Low in Cool Grey and Black; the front-end and bottom sole take on grey with the rear heel appearing in black. The Hyperfuse is already regarded one of the best performing basketball shoes ever created, so the Low version is surely great news for those who choose to ball in low-tops. Many images lie ahead so read on and cop this size 9 sample from cigar0330 on eBay.

Air Jordan XIII (13) Premio Bin 23 Collection | Detailed Images

It’s been fairly quiet in the Jordan Brand Bin 23 Collection front, but here’s a great gallery of images of the upcoming third installment of the premium Air Jordan collection, the Air Jordan XIII (13) Premio. We first showed you a peek at the shoe over a month ago and these new detailed shots show off the quality of the Premio XIII quiet well; luxurious suede and nubuck on the upper with a tumbled leather toebox and tongue make up the upper of the shoe, with the red Bin 23 seal of approval of sorts stamped proudly on the tongue. The Air Jordan XIII (13) Premio will be released in limited quantity as well, with just 1,734 pairs made available. The Air Jordan IX (9) Premio had a limited run of 1,331 pairs and the Air Jordan II (2) Premio just 1,097. Do these numbers have any correlation with Michael Jordan’s career stats, or with the season in which he wore the specific pairs? No direct connection can be made as of yet but these numbers are too particular to be made randomly. A release hasn’t been set yet but with the II and IX releasing in April and May respectively, so we could expect a release August. In the meantime, check out the gallery of images after the jump and let us know which Bin 23 Collection release has been the best thus far. via taobao.
