Among the best received of recent basketball sneakers from Jordan Brand of late has been the new Air Jordan Team ISO. So far, only the Pittsburgh-colored Quai54 PE has hit retail, but that’s set to change with this new colorway that offers an homage to MJ’s Tar Heel roots. Offering up University (of North Carolina) Blue accents on a mostly white and grey design, these new Team ISOs are a performance court kick with modern aesthetic charms. This upcoming colorway of the Air Jordan Six Rings has transformed hate into love and love into infatuation. The full-3M reflective material used on the upper definitely drew some positive attention toward the Air Jordan Six Rings – a shoe that has received a lukewarm reception since its release. On a normal day, this Six Rings features a grey/silver colorway reminiscent of the Air Jordan XI Cool Grey but hit it with flash and you have shoes that could break necks from the moon. Another interesting note is that this pair is given the 23/25 label on inner face of the tongue, deeming this a 25th Anniversary release – the first of such releases since the Air Jordan XI 25th Anniversary release in early May. These aren’t set for a September release but rmkstore has them available right now!

If you checked out Sneaker News’ coverage of the Jordan Brand Fall 2010 Basketball Preview ‘For The Love Of The Game‘, you will probably remember the Air Jordan 2010 Outdoor in the unmistakable University Blue colorway. In fact, the entire Love Of The Game collection was gorgeous to say the very least, with the Tar Heels inspired color-ups. The 2010 Outdoor, like the Alpha 1 Outdoor, is a ready-for-the-elements pair of basketball kicks meant for the grit and grime not found on an indoor hardwood court. Featuring ventilation holes aplenty as well as cross-instep straps reminiscent of the Air Jordan VIII, the 2010 Outdoor is true testament to Jordan Brand’s commitment to performance excellence. Check out the great gallery of detailed images and stick with Sneaker News for release info. via showshoes.com.

Charles Barkley has publicly bashed LeBron James for teaming up with another NBA superstar in his prime, which, ironically enough, might be part of why Sir Charles never won an NBA title himself. One of the 10 or so best to have never won a chip, This new Nike Air Max 2 CB ’94 celebrates the closest he ever got to the Larry O’Brien trophy, while leading the Phoenix Suns. These joints go with a tonal purple approach, combining Ink and Varsity Purple into a package that’s a pearlescent finish away from being ‘Eggplant’. Check out more shots after the jump and get ready for these to hit House of Hoops next Saturday, July 31st.

In early 2004, Nike dropped a Silver Surfer Pack that featured the Nike Air Max 90 and two colorways of the Nike Dunk Low. Both featured a silver/blue colorway with a metallic mesh toe and the intergalactic traveler’s face stamped on the insole. Definitely one of the more memorable releases of the year and surely one of the rarer finds today. Here’s a sample pair of the Nike Air Max Light featuring a grey/blue colorway similar to those Marvel Superhero inspired shoes; featuring a Wolf Grey suede upper and a metallic soft mesh of a different kind on the toe, a mineral blue lace placket and Air unit, there’s no doubt this colorway – had it released alongside the Dunk Low and Air Max 90 – would’ve been a hot collector’s item. Check out the detailed images of this sample pair and let’s hope this great Air Max Light colorway hurdles the Euro wall and releases in the states. If not, you can jump the gun and cop this size 9 sample from cigar0330 on eBay.

Many of the recent Dunk High Premium releases, like this recently release Dark Charcoal/Yellow pair, have featured more than the simple synthetic leather uppers; coming in a slick canvas upper with a Livestrong-esque Black-and-yellow upper, this Dunk High Premium is the proud recipient of Zoom Air cushioning for that SB Dunk High feel. Sitting on top of a white midsole and gum outsole, this Dunk High is one of the cleanest and simplest releases of a shoe that’s seen countless colorways over the years. With a black tonal swoosh and yellow inner lining, a proper mix of colors is displayed. There are extra images after the jump so give them a look and buy a pair now over the TGWO.

There was a custom Elephant print laser etching machine on hand at Jordan Brand’s 23/25 Experience at this year’s NBA All Star Weekend in Dallas, but what can a sneakerhead do if he can’t get his hands on a time machine? How about substituting a soldering iron for a laser etcher, as N-SB.org member CemetaryDrive did with the recently released Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Chromeball Incident’. The Chromeball lows were designed by Neil Blender to resemble one of the original Airwalk Enigma colorways, but CD went ‘Supreme’ on these by drawing out an Elephant pattern on the overlay with a Pigma Micron marker and then etched out the krinkly lines with a trusty ol’ Craftsman iron. The results speak for themselves, which begs the question: which other Nike SB Dunks would look dope with Elephant print customization?

It’s been quite a while since we saw new pairs of the asymmetrically-laced Gourmet Dieci hightops. A little under a year, in fact, and these new Fall 2010 releases are similar to last fall’s, albeit with different materials. Whereas last year’s mixed leather and suede in all-black, this year’s blackout Diecis are done in premium canvas just like the pack of il Dues we showed you yesterday. There’s also a grey pair with a white sole, so click the jump below to see more shots of both pairs and stick with Sneaker News for updates on their release. via Dunk.com.cn

After unveiling a series of collaborations early in 2010, DC Shoes has been relatively quiet for the rest of this year. If they were putting in work, it surely paid off, as a new silhouette from the DC Life collection is one of the nicest lifestyle sneakers we’ve seen all year. The new DC Shoes Cadet Chukka combines the familiar eye plackets you’d find on any good chukka with a plimsoll-like toe on a two-tone design to capture pretty much everything that’s hot right now with casual sneakers. There’s also a similarly hewn Sector 7 TXSE lowtop, and both should hit select DC Life retailers shortly. via HS
