Both Vans and Married to the Mob are no strangers to collaborative work, but here’s a look at a tag-team effort that will never hit retail. The MTTM x Vans pack pictured above was slated for a fall 2009 release, but for whatever reason, is destined to never make it past that stage. Had they released, you would have seen three pairs in black, white or red patent leather, each of which is embossed with symbols like the Married to the Mob logo, four leaf clovers and kissy lips. Check out more shots after the jump and let us know if you would have bought these.

The Nike SB Bruin was a later addition to the Nike SB footwear line, but the Bruin itself is considered as one of the OGs. The Bruin was the first ever Nike Basketball shoe and after a brief retro in the early-mid 90s, the Bruin came back as part of the Nike SB camp. The low-profile, low-cut shoe is now considered vastly outdated in basketball but fits right in with the skate-shoe demands – thus making it a popular choice among the Nike SB team. This newest colorway – actually an August 2010 release – features a rich cappuccino brown upper with a white contrasting lace and swoosh, with a fitting red inner lining and bottom sole. Luckily for us, these dropped early over at Flatspot so head there to cop yours.

The recently released Nike Hyperdunk 2010 and Hyperfuse were the centerpiece of the Nike Fall 2010 Basketball Preview, and it was only a matter of time before a Low version of each was released. Near May’s end, Sneaker News showed you a Varsity Royal, Black, and White colorway of the Hyperfuse Low that received a ton of positive vibes, and not long ago a bright blue pair of the Hyperfuse Low was seen during a special event at Niketown in Chicago. Check out this new colorway of the Hyperfuse Low in Cool Grey and Black; the front-end and bottom sole take on grey with the rear heel appearing in black. The Hyperfuse is already regarded one of the best performing basketball shoes ever created, so the Low version is surely great news for those who choose to ball in low-tops. Many images lie ahead so read on and cop this size 9 sample from cigar0330 on eBay.

It’s been fairly quiet in the Jordan Brand Bin 23 Collection front, but here’s a great gallery of images of the upcoming third installment of the premium Air Jordan collection, the Air Jordan XIII (13) Premio. We first showed you a peek at the shoe over a month ago and these new detailed shots show off the quality of the Premio XIII quiet well; luxurious suede and nubuck on the upper with a tumbled leather toebox and tongue make up the upper of the shoe, with the red Bin 23 seal of approval of sorts stamped proudly on the tongue. The Air Jordan XIII (13) Premio will be released in limited quantity as well, with just 1,734 pairs made available. The Air Jordan IX (9) Premio had a limited run of 1,331 pairs and the Air Jordan II (2) Premio just 1,097. Do these numbers have any correlation with Michael Jordan’s career stats, or with the season in which he wore the specific pairs? No direct connection can be made as of yet but these numbers are too particular to be made randomly. A release hasn’t been set yet but with the II and IX releasing in April and May respectively, so we could expect a release August. In the meantime, check out the gallery of images after the jump and let us know which Bin 23 Collection release has been the best thus far. via taobao.

What comes to mind when you think of black with thin white pinstripes? Most would think of a high-end luxury business suit. This upcoming Nike Dunk High Zoom gives off the same luxurious feel, with an all black midsole and bottom sole with a pinstriped upper featuring frayed edges. A look at the insole also features a graphic of a rooster, and the heel tab features a red, white, and blue striped applique with a button with the same rooster graphic – meaning this Dunk High could have gotten an inspiration from the French National soccer team. And finally, a look at the tongue shows a Nike Sportswear label – something that hasn’t been done many times. Of course, the Zoom cushioning is also used, so if these were to release, we can expect a higher price than normal Nike Dunk High prices. There’s a gallery of images ahead so continue on and let us know what you think of this colorway of the Nike Dunk High, and buy this size 9 sample from cigar0330 on eBay.

The recently introduced Air Jordan Alpha 1 Outdoor is a different take on its originator, the Air Jordan Alpha 1. Meant to be an suitable for outdoor play, this Alpha 1 Outdoor features a removable ankle strap as well as different materials used for construction. This new colorway of the Alpha 1 Outdoor in grey, black, and white is also given a ‘Playground’ surname, meaning it would be best used for breaking the ankles of your hapless defenders at your local school-yard blacktop. These just dropped at Finishline so head there to grab this latest Outdoor colorway.

Michael Lau – toy-maker and artist extraordinaire – opened up his own exhibit on July 16th called the MiXTRA.SHOE SHOP (SAMPLE) in Tsim Sha Tsui of Southern Hong Kong, displaying his “Mr. Shoe” character figuring in a number of different “costumes” and designs. The figurines, which can be best described as miniature Air Force 1s with tiny feet, were displayed all around the space; each figure was inspired by famous sneakers like the Air Jordan 1 and Run DMC x adidas Superstar or other memorable images, like the yellow “happy face”. Other Michael Lau pieces – t-shirts, watches, other figurines – were available for viewing as well. Check out the gallery of images of Lau’s exhibition opening after the jump and let us know which tiny figurine you like best. If you’re in the HK area, be sure to check out the space as well because it will no longer be available come August 1st!. via HB.

There’s a ton of celebrity sneakerheads out there but Pharrell’s one of the very few in the hip-hop scene that has embraced the Nike Sportswear designs and motifs. Last summer he wore the Black/Mint Nike Air Footscape Woven - a perfect summer shoe, and in a recent stop in his Europe tour, he wore the Obsidian/Multi-color colorway of the Nike Lunar Woven Chukka – another great shoe to keep your peds supremely cool. Does the shoe ring a bell? Recently SneakerNews.com and FreshnessMag.com founder Yu-Ming Wu gave Complex.com his personal Top 10 list of shoes that released in 2010 so far. His number one overall shoe? The Nike Lunar Woven Chukka in the same colorway. Great minds rock alike, don’t they? On another note, fellow N.E.R.D. member Shay wore the retro-inspired Nike MS78. Check out the gallery from the N.E.R.D. show to see Pharrell and Shay in their latest NSW digs. via FRESHNESS.
