Jordan Brand marked the 2010 Jordan Brand Quai 54 Streetball Tournament with great colorways of the Jordan Team ISO, as well as the Air Jordan IX (9) Retro. The Jordan IX was a limited release with availability presumed to be bounded in Europe and Asia, and with just 2,000 total pairs rumored to be in production, getting a pair was easier said than done, especially in the States. However, SoleFly in Southern Miami has them available; with its apparent close ties to Jordan Brand, we can likely expect more of the harder-to-find Jordan releases to land there. Check out SoleFly’s creative display (although you probably won’t still find them on the floor) and head over to cop a pair if you’re in the area. If not, you can still pick up a pair of the Air Jordan IX Quai 54 now on eBay.

We know the West Coast shows crazy love for Kobe Bryant, but did you know the East idolizes him just as much? We’re talking about the Far East, as in China, a country that has embraced basketball and its American superstars. Kobe Bryant’s insane celebrity status in China makes the country one huge Staples Center, and recently, Kobe Bryant was the guest of honor in a special Q&A session, talking about his accomplishments in the game of basketball, his Nike Zoom Kobe line, his injuries, and other interesting topics. Kobe went through a timeline of achievements, talking about his 81 point game while holding a pair of the Nike Zoom Kobe 1 and his fourth NBA Title with the Kobe IV. One lucky fan was the recipient of an autographed pair of the Nike Zoom Kobe V Big Stage Home colorway. So what was Kobe wearing? The Black Mamba rocked a pair of the recently released Nike Zoom Kobe Dream Season II in the black and varsity purple colorway. Check out the images from the event as well as Kobe in the Dream Seasons and let us know what you think of the colorway. via hoopchina.

Is this the return of the Nike Air Force 1? The Air Force 1 Boroughs Pack features a special colorway made for each of the five NYC boroughs, and while they are all cut from the same cloth – all inspired by varsity letterman jackets – each borough features a unique colorway, heel logo, and insole graphic. Here’s a detailed look at the Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘Brooklyn’ from the Boroughs Pack; a black wool upper with a red plum chenille swoosh and satin inner liner with pink piping is tied together by a white midsole/gum bottom combination. The heel logo features the letter B in alternating white and red plum stripes, with the graphic on the insole reading “BKYLN”. These were a limited release, available only in Brooklyn, but O-sneaker has them available if you missed out. Check out the detailed images after the jump and let us know what you think of the Five Boroughs concept and whether or not it was executed to your liking.

Here’s another look at the Nike Air Max 1 ACG Pack that we first showed you early last week. There are at least five pairs of AM1 and its variants here, with pictures revealing a quartet of ’87s and one Air Maxim 1+ Trainer hybrid thrown in for good measure. That black and purple pair probably has the most ‘rugged’ feel of all of these, with some readers confused on why these have been cross-branded with All Conditions Gear insignias. Whether it’s the materials or some other inspiration remains to be seen, but rumor is, this pack might not make it past the samples stage. With the current releasing of the Nike Air Force 1 Borough Pack, the classic low-top basketball shoe from the 80s has forced the spotlight square on its back. White a number of great 3M-swoosh releases as well as some great Futura collaborations, 2010 could be considered a comeback year for the Nike Air Force 1. Check out this new colorway of the Nike Air Force 1 Low ’07 in a simple combination of Black, White, Red, and Green; we already know what you’re thinking, and yes, this colorway does match perfectly with that five-letter high-end designer brand that rhymes with Stanley Tucci (we’re not talking about Pucci). The black and white upper is set off perfect with a red trim and a solid green bottom sole (maybe some green laces will do the trick?). There’s a gallery of images ahead so check ‘em out and let us know what you think of the colorway. via Dunk.

The New York Yankees reclaimed its spot at the top of the baseball world last Fall after a nine years of failure. Only the Yankees will deem 90-win seasons as unproductive, because the nearly $200 million spent on salaries is meant for winning it all. Since the ’09 World Series, we’ve seen a number of Yankees-inspired kicks, with the Futura x Nike Air Force 1 Baseball Pack as well as the Air Jordan Alpha 1 C.C. Sabathia PE. Here’s a look at an upcoming colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Phat Low colored up in the familiar white and navy blue; although these don’t have any ties to the Yankees, the color association is usually enough to spark thoughts of the Bronx Bombers. Watch for these to hit Jordan retailers in August but you can grab a pair now on eBay.

It’s been about a month since we’ve seen a new Jordan Grown V2, and here’s a look at the colorway officially slated as an August 2010 release. The latest in Jordan Brand’s line of gusseted chukkas features a Deep Garnet red upper that’s done in a slightly faded canvas material to give it a sort of chambray look. It’s quite a nice look as we move toward autumn and would work well with pretty much any colors you could imagine other than bright reds or oranges. Click the jump below for more shots and check for these at your local JB retailers like Dr. Jays.

Will the combination of full-length 360 Air, stabilizing forefoot strap, and Flywire paneling make the Air Max TR1+ the most technologically advanced Nike shoe to date? It does seem like a lot of food on one plate, but there’s no way any pair of feet can say no to the Nike Air Max TR1. It’s got comfort, it’s stability, and most importantly, it’s got a slick design. The only Air Max TR1 release thus far was one in white and metallic silver, with Nike iD being the only other options (Nike Air Max TR1 iD Unleashed). Now this new colorway featuring grey, white, and retro (a nice aqua tone) will drop on Eastbay on August 6th. Check out the extra images after the jump and let us know what you think of the new colorway.

We’ve already showed you Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens from the Air Force 1 Low Five Boroughs Pack, so what’s next? Check out the Brooklyn colorway, featuring a black and purple upper in the same color-blocking as the other three pairs. Brooklyn is known for its cultural and ethnic diversity as well as nationally recognized landmarks such as Coney Island, Dyckman Park, and of course the Brooklyn Bridge. If you recall the Air Force 1 Low Brooklyn that released in 2004, the colorways are obviously different, which leads us to wonder where these different colorways are derived from. These feature the special Borough-specific laces as well as the Nike Borough Edition (BE) tongue label. With just the Staten Island colorway left to be revealed, what can we expect? Possibly a yellow-and-black colorway repping the Shaolin? Check out the extra images of the Nike Air Force 1 Low Brooklyn Borough Edition and stick with Sneaker News for release info. via Joeykickz.

Jordan Brand recently introduced “Outdoor” versions of the brand’s two major releases of this year – the Air Jordan 2010 and Air Jordan Alpha 1 Outdoor. The purpose of these new videos is to show us that while Jordan Brand maintains a premium standard for its products, the customized Outdoor versions are suitable for even the most weathered blacktops in the city. Touting a lightweight and durable construction, both the 2010 and Alpha 1 Outdoor are user-friendly for the whimsical style of streetball as they are for running the most precise plays on hardwood. Jordan Branders Dwyane Wade, Gerald Wallace, Joe Johnson, and Mike Bibby show of these new kicks in these vids so check out the both 2010 and Alpha 1 in action and let us know what you think of these ‘Outdoor’ versions.

Unlike Nike’s 2006 ‘Clerks Pack’, here’s a collaboration that’s actually affiliated with the iconic film of that same name. Appearing at the newly mainstream’d Comic-Con 2010 in San Diego last week, auteur Kevin Smith showed off a Clerks x Etnies Jamison 2 in all black with typewriter typeface on the tongue and ‘Clerks.’ branding. The best part is on the inside, though, with a still from the 1994 film depicting Smith as Silent Bob alongside his foul mouthed friend, Jay, outside the Quick Stop where the film is centered. Here’s a look at two new colorways of the Nike ACG Air Wildtrail; the first features Solar Orange with Grey and Black while the second features Varsity Purple with yellow contrast stitching and trim and black as well. Both colorways in these two new releases could be labeled the Air Wildtrail Lakers/Suns Rivalry Pack, but then again, these have absolutely nothing to do with basketball. We can throw that moniker out the window but what we’re still left with are two great colorways of an aptly performing outdoors shoe. These ACGs have hit retailers recently like Japan’s Gettry as well as other spots, but you can get yours for under retail on eBay.
