With all the hoopla in the aftermath of ‘The Decision’, you might have forgotten that there’s a huge new LeBron James signature shoe on the way from Nike Basketball. The Nike Air Max LeBron VIII is the most advanced LBJ sig yet, offering Flywire embedded into carbon fiber to lighten and strengthen a package that rides the basketball-specific 360 Max Air unit. The first pair we expect to hit retail is the above pictured black and red joint, a staple in the LeBron lineup that’ll match his Miami Heat uniforms perfectly. Deion Sanders is celebrated for his dual-sport excellence as well as his charisma on the diamond/turf. Recently, the Nike Air Diamond Turf retroed in the original black/red/white Atlanta Braves/Atlanta Falcons colorway but with a few minor changes worth overlooking if you are a fan of the shoe. Here’s a look at a sample pair of an upcoming release of the Diamond Turf in Black, Teal, and White; you might not remember the shoe considering the Falcons/Braves colorway was more popular due to the team affiliations, but this color is indeed an original although the OG had a slightly greener shade and a gold-stitched Nike Air logo on the heel. Nonetheless, the shoe comes complete with yellow mesh on the strap housing, so these are pretty close to the vest. Check out the extra images after the jump and expect these to hit sometime this year. via regularolty.

The fifth and final member of the Nike Air Force 1 Five Boroughs Pack comes to you “All the way from the slums of shaolin.” The Wu-Tang Clan put Staten Island on the map back in the early ’90s and now this new AF1 Low will be a part of what appears to be a resurrection of sorts for this Swoosh classic. Sure, we get new Uptowns every month from Nike Sportswear, but this varsity jacket-inspired DJ Clark Kent design is visibly deluxe quality, from the tumbled leather and woolen sections all the way down to the classic gum outsole. The BE (Boroughs Edition) Air Force 1s are set to drop on Saturday, July 31st with some retailer having already gotten (and sold out of) their stocks. Serena Williams and her friend the newly single, Christina Milian, were spotted leaving the Madeo restaurant in Los Angeles this past Monday night. Serena who had surgery on her right foot after cutting it had the injured foot in a boot while she wore what looks like a pair of her own Nike Air Force 1 Low Premium MX iD’s on the left foot. Given Serena is one of the premier Nike Tennis athletes we’re not surprised that she has the luxury of creating a pair of her own Nike Air Force 1 MX iD’s. Hopefully she will be able to recover fully and participate in the US Open in the upcoming weeks. Via CONCRETELOOP

Quietly signing a five year max contract extension while the dust was still settling from ‘The Decision’, Kevin Durant is trying another novel approach for his next Nike signature shoe. The Nike Zoom KD II was popular with players around the league, most notably Amare’ Stoudemire, and now Durant himself is reaching out to other players in the hopes they’ll rock the upcoming KDIII.
He called out Anthony Morrow and Nate Robinson, who’s known to wear a variety of heat, including several Air Jordans and Zoom/Air Max LeBrons, and has already gotten word from New Jersey Nets swingman Terrence Williams that he’ll “def rock [Durant's] shoes, it would be an honor.” Durant also mentioned Toronto Raptors teammates DeMar DeRozan and Sonny Weems by name, so it’ll be interesting to see how this plays out. As we inch toward the inaugural World Basketball Festival, Nike Basketball reveals more player exclusives for the NYC-based tournament. France didn’t compete in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, but they had a decent showing at last year’s EuroBasket and players like Tony Parker and Boris Diaw will be looking to make some noise at the WBF. They’ll take to the court at MSG outfitted with these appropriately colored Nike Zoom Hyperfuses, which feature the country’s name in a classic font on the lateral ankles. If you haven’t copped a pair of RT1′s for your rotation, what’s with the slacking? First dubbed the “Un-Yeezys”, the Nike RT1 High was introduced early in 2009 as an affordable second option to the Nike Air Yeezy. The RT1 features a high cut and tongue with a great retro-inspired lower-body construction – it was clearly the shoe that defined the sneaker culture design. This unreleased sample of the Nike RTI High features a mix of olive green, brown, and neon green much like the Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Jedi’ from the Nike SB silver-box era. The midsole features a concrete speckling and and the toe is made of a fabric material to offset the leather upper. Of course, the volt laces and bottom sole provide the added pop and Jedi comparisons to this pair. Unfortunately, this RT1 High was not released so check out the images after the jumps and buy this deadstock size 9 sample from checkmarksthespot on eBay.
