Nike Zoom Kobe V (5) Big Stage | Release Info

Kobe Bryant wore two special colorways of the Nike Zoom Kobe V during the NBA Finals – white for Home games and a black-based pair for the Away games. Each pair featured a ‘tattooing’ of Kobe’s season achievements from that NBA season, from his season stats to the date in which he became the Lakers all-time leading scorer. Sneaker News showed you a detailed look at the upper graphic not long ago, but now’s your chance to see the graphic…on your feet. Both colorways of the Nike Zoom Kobe V ‘Big Stage’ will release in very limited numbers this Friday, August 6th, at select locations in California and Chicago with the Away pair being available in New York. Continue reading for a full list of release locations for both pairs and let us know which colorway you prefer. via Nike Basketball.

  2. thatoneguy Says:

this is so stupid. does house of hoops have a website i can just order these off? wtf is up with the discrimination of the smaller city sneakerheads. if them cats in new york pay more than i do for a bottle of pop why the hell am i payin the same price they are for sneakers? i dont get it.

  3. shomari Says:

im in New York and i'm mad that i can't get the home games. so nobody is happy

  4. Steelo_Brown Says:

I shall find a way to obtain the Home pair.

  5. HyperDunkMan Says:

I dont get what you just said.

  6. ju3LZ54 Says:

this whole area exclusive shit is so wack to me n if nike is ganna always do this how about giving other states shine sometimes n i hate when NY heads be like if u put it out everywhere its not limited anymore ppl need to not be lazy n go get the she. Well thats easy for you to say when u got a effn new sneaker boutique every 3 blocks plus not one but 2 effn house of hoops maaan get outta here

  7. shomari Says:

i know what your saying but they are going to be available online and the one in Long Island isn't really in NYC. But they are opening another HOH on 34th st. Also why is everybody mad at NYC? LA is getting most of the pairs

  8. TAZ Says:

Damm.. I'm in Long Island, just 10 mins from the mall, but I want the Home shoes..!!

  9. @RegionWideRell Says:

SMH. Its going to be a mad house.

  10. Scotty O Says:

Great job Nike-you bunch of douchebags!! The nicest Kobe all year and you limit it to 500 a piece!! Are f**ckin kidding me! We are going to see these joints on Ebay for $500 each. You release these wide and you make a fortune! Just stupid! F**k the limited release!

  11. voterobformayor Says:

they only releasing the AWAY game color way in NY…the home games are going to release in the west

eff u nike for making such a hot shoe so limited, im sure these are going to be 3x MSRP the day before release because all the kids that work at the HOHs gonna buy them up and reserve them for there friends.

the avg sneaker head is bettervoff just turning there head and look another way cause these arent attainable..i hate this part of the game

  12. voterobformayor Says:

hes gotta point – pls direct some hate to LA as well

  13. j bizzy Says:

why can this fag get his owe style always bittin on tha j's wit tha laser image. what a wack fuck

  14. ju3LZ54 Says:

yeah you guys are right but most times it is just NYC n im not in any way knocking NYC its nike why dont they ever wanna show some other places love i mean yes we can acknowledge NYC as the Mecca of alot of things but im sure if you shine some light u'll see other places have history just as rich that could serve as great inspiration for NEW designs

  15. shomari Says:

Boston, Chicago, D.C and a few others small cities get some exclusive stuff

  16. d3xtr85 Says:

what if just released it to all house of hopps locations… im disappointed waiting for nothing

  17. wangbu14 Says:

these are due to release this afternoon here in Manila.

  18. Ben Says:

I knew I wouldn't be able to get a pair of these. I was hoping, but i knew Nike wouldn't release these at regular quick strike accounts. Oh well. Glad I didn't really save money for these. I would've loved to have a pair for around retail but there is no way I'm paying anything over $200 for these.

  19. S dot C Says:

New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago get all the exclusives kicks… while sneakerheads in small cities either have spend extra dough on ebay or take L on the kicks or scramble online to see what sneaker site is selling them on the net…smh!!!

  20. go lakers Says:

    Why not in Dallas

  21. grownANDsexy Says:

Don't see the Kobe V's in NYC too often, but this would have been everywhere if they just did a general release OR at least a limited release that came out everywhere in limited numbers woulds have been a boon for Kobe and his kicks in NYC

Doing it this way makes a sneaker that many people would have wanted to get if it was in their store. Now you have to be in a specific region to get a specific colorway? Then limit it to specific cities too?

    Sheesh…

  22. Evo Says:

oh well i'll go look on kb website =/

  23. Bugs Says:

In Australia and already got em!

  24. Camper Says:

I'm going to start waiting in line right now, and I'm going to have my dad, mom, and sister wait in everyone other stores line too to make sure I get a pair…what will you guys do?

  25. Wild_One Says:

You guys are bitchin at nothing just call niketown as soon as they open and have them ship them thats what i did for the ajko its easy just need credit or debit card takes as long as flightclub

  26. airt Says:

No phone orders within first 48 hours of launch, so calling is USELESS. All the sizes will be gone by then.

  27. dareupgang Says:

    You Mad

  28. rsmmc57 Says:

Any word on what the on-line release time will be?

  29. frank Says:

nike dropped the ball with this one. went to both house of hoops here in ny and neither got the away pair, only the home pair.
