H Town Sneaker Summit Summer 2010 | Event Recap

This past Sunday, the most crazed sneakerheads in the Houston area came out to the H-Town Sneaker Summit to take advantage of all the great events and kicks. The event was loaded with special guests, such as Jordan Brand’s D’wayne Edwards and Nick Diamond of Diamond Supply Co., and tons of great features like product giveaways and the presentation of Reggie Holloway’s Air Force 1 Bespoke to his family. A special table with Reggie Holloway’s Air Force 1s along with a special collection of Jordan PE’s and samples were available for viewing, and that’s on top of the neckbreakers already being worn by the event-goers. The Meridian was filled to the brim and the atmosphere was great, so check out the event recap after the jump.

  4. voterobformayor Says:

there wont be a good sneaker convention until they figure out some way to get more women up in there and im not just talking about the girls with there men…the sneaker game just needs a little more popularity…could you imagine what its going to be like when sneaker conventions rival those of e3 or comic-con? its only a matter of time

  5. Itzraza786 Says:

Went pretty well, only exception was the heat, but i guess you should expect heat at a sneaker convention (pun intended). I think people need to stop hating and support whats being done for the sneaker community in Houston. A lot of people hate for no reason and take things for granted.

  6. LouieD87 Says:

Yea these summits been down hill. I support the local cause but this one was by far the worst. no hating just plain facts. nothing worth buying and the kicks showcased were sooo overpriced. And it was stupid hot. lol dont get me wrong tho the pics are not good pics of the event so. I guess you just had to be there.

  13. aaronW Says:

  16. process of Heat Seekers Krew Says:

First of all it was Hott as fuck in the building other than that we drove 4 hours to display and murdered this event. I thought it was a good event. Dude is right though there was mad fakes in the building but y’all need to get off the east and west dicks. We can do anything they can do if not better. If bitches would stop hating and come together and support each other instead of holding each other back Texas could not be fucked with. Trust me on this.
