Yesterday Sneaker News showed you a teaser of an upcoming collaboration between Dutch artist Parra and athletic shoe icon Converse. Their ‘Cherries For a Good Cause‘ collaboration is part of the (RED) campaign to raise worldwide AIDS support, in an effort to ‘Paint the Town’ with awareness of the epidemic. This special pair of the Converse Chuck Taylor High features a light brown suede upper with a peculiar graphic of a pair of cherries with arms and legs. If you saw the teaser video yesterday, you might have chuckled at the animation of the running humanoid cherry, but the serious undertone of the (RED) campaign will remind that this partnership is indeed for a good cause. These will release soon at select Converse retailers such as Limited Edt Chamber in Singapore, so stick with Sneaker News for release info and take a look at the gallery after the jump. via streething.
