Earlier this year the ‘Grape’ colorway of the Air Jordan Spiz’ike released and was a surprisingly popular hit among sneakerheads as well as celebrities. Kanye West, The Game, Spike Lee, and Shay of N.E.R.D. were all spotted with the Grape Spiz’ikes during the year, but what if it was released like this version you see here? If you can’t point out the different right away, that’s because usually the changes from sample to product are minor, but in this case, the sample is almost a completely different design, using completely different color-blocking. The midsole, wings, laceflaps, and tongue have all undergone changes, but the biggest has to be that this early version doesn’t feature the fully perforated upper seen on the pair that was actually released. In fact, Sneaker News first previewed the sample version as the official ‘Grape’ release, but the gradual alterations seemed to have gone by unnoticed. Take a look at this sample version and let us know if it would’ve been a better release, and buy this unreleased size 9 sample from cigar0330 on eBay.

Even though its a sample pair, to me it doesn't even look like a sample pair, looks FRE$H and like tha colorway.

Im tired of seeing beautiful ass samples and shitty ass c/w's. wtf is wrong with yall? did yall lose half of yoour mind or all of it? and then fcking up the retro's. Why cant you make the IX how yall mind it 2 years ago in the CDP? what the fuck is sooo hard about making it the same. Changing the tint of red, removingg the bottom plastic lace-loop into some bullshit. Then making the jordan sign on the outside heel smaller and backwards. WTF is sooo hard about making the same shoe two years ago?

These were the original model to land on Osneaker.com and sold out faster than hell…….so there's a few people out there that may have landed these.

When they mentioned the grapes and saw this picture last year I was like def have to cop but when they changed the style on them was very disappointment. They should have came out with this. They are fierce.

You can get jordans and nike samples here in the US you just have to find out where and when nike have there locations. In maryland they use to have it every april and october in a disclosed business area.
