Nike touted its Lunar cushioning technology as “rocket science”, and it will be tested on hiking trails across the glove, as the Lunar Elite now comes in a mid-top trail ready form. Sneaker News first previewed the Nike Lunar Elite Trail Mid during the Nike Sportswear Fall 2010 Preview and gave you a closer look of the Lunar Elite Trail Mid later in June; the hybrid shoe of sorts featured an upper design similar to the Lunar Elite, featuring a Flywire panel on the upper as well as breathable mesh panels. The two new Quickstrike releases feature a grey/pink colorway as well as a mix of blue/orange/grey, and both feature gorgeous speckled midsoles. These have started to hit select retailers such as LE Vault in Singapore, and they have just 12 pairs of each, so we perceive these to be a tough find. Continue reading for another look and let us know if you think Lunar Foam would be fit for rocky trails. via Streething.

"an upper design similar to the LunarGlide 1"
WHAT????? Yo gotta be kidding right?
So we have here a midtop trail version of the Elite, where are the similarities to the Glide1?
It's the the exact same upper of the Elite but in a midtop version, the major difference is in the tongue with the lacing system. The Glide1 is so different from the Elite, have you even looked at the pictures?
If you said Glide2 I could try to understand because the Glide2 is a little bit more similar to the Elite in the toe area, but you even made it clear about being the Glide1.
Anyway it's a Lunar Elite, it's very clear when looking at the shoe, can't understand what leads someone to compare it with the Glides or any others.
*facepalm*

It's a simple error. Relax. There are so many Lunar-xxxxx models out there. It is indeed obvious that it's the LunarElite which makes the error that much more obvious that it was a slip-up.
