“I’m just happy to have my own shoe!”
Recognized on the court for his unparalleled offensive prowess and off the court for his humble nature, Kevin Durant is quickly becoming the next face of the NBA in an era marred with pop-culture, self-promotion, and media hoopla. Not only is Kevin Durant an elite player in the league, his signature shoe with Nike is by far the most affordable among his fellow sig-shoe superstars like Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, and Dwyane Wade. During the World Basketball Festival, KD commented on his true opinion about how his shoes look (spoiler: he doesn’t care) and the type of fit he was looking for in his signature line – the Zoom KD III being the latest installment. The Nike Zoom KD II and all the great colorways that dropped this year was certainly a sleeper hit of 2010 so continue reading to hear Durant’s opinions on his shoes and chime in with your own thoughts. via Eastbay.

It's sad to see Nike go low-budget/uninspired on designing the III's, after 2 clean, individual designs, the KD III's are pretty much a hybrid of Huarache, and Kobe V.
He deserves better.
