Nike’s Innovation Kitchen has set the standard in performance footwear for decades, and the introduction of ‘Free’ technology was definitely a sharp left turn from Nike’s bread and butter, which at the time of Free’s debut, was Zoom Air and Max Air. Free features neither of the two, but instead opts for a super-flexible light-on-your-feet feel – some of you might remember the displays at retail stores featuring the Nike Free curled up into a ball, emphasizing the grooved sole. The Nike Free TR features the same suspension but now features a Flywire outrigger instead of the classic fore-foot strap and a slightly higher cut; this new colorway of the all-purpose Free TR just dropped at Nikestore so check out the detailed shots after the jump.
