Air Jordan Sky High Fall 2010 Colorways | Available

The Jordan Sky High was one big branding experiment, as it was the first Jordan shoe to feature a Jumpman not on a tongue and the second shoe to features a Swoosh. Like the Air Jordan AJKO of earlier this year, these canvas uppered original silhouettes should be a hit for OG heads yearning for lapses of nostalgia or the younger Jordan crowd looking for another original model to rock. Take a look at the extra detailed shots after the jump and see what you think, because these are starting to hit select U.S. retailers such as Premier, or grab yours now on eBay.

History of Air Jordan Commercials Part 2

Looking back at the commercials for the Air Jordan 1 – Air Jordan VIII, we can clearly see a change in the overall mission of the Jordan marketing campaign. The Air Jordan IX began with Michael Jordan’s abrupt retirement to the game, and we received a satirical approach to MJ’s decision in which Jordan disguised himself to play basketball in other leagues. For the Air Jordan XI, Jordan flew effortlessly to a 100-foot rim but found himself in a tough situation. But the Air Jordan XII marks a swift change in the direction of Air Jordan commercials, as the ads presented a more serious undertone in which Jordan himself speaks about his failure. Take a look at Part 2 of the History of Air Jordan Commercials, as Sneaker News outlines the advertisements for Air Jordan IX through XVI.

Nike Zoom Terra Sertig Club Purple Yellow Black

If you’re a geography geek, you can tell just from the moniker that the Nike Zoom Terra Sertig was made for some serious hikes.  Named after the Sertig valley that sinks down beneath the Matterhorn in Switzerland, the Zoom Terra Sertig is a supremely cushioned midtop trail runner with a distinctly mid-’90s design.  If you’re thinking you’ve seen the pair pictured above, that’s cos a similar colorblocking pattern released back in July, but where those were Varsity Royal, these are Club Purple.  These are available now at select Nike Sportswear retailers and you can find more images by clicking the jump below.  via Tenisfuki

Celebrity Feet: Soulja Boy Nike Blazer AC High Dark Grey Solar Red

Soulja Boy paid a visit to BET’s 106 & Park last week and showed up wearing a pair of the recently released Nike Blazer AC High’s in Dark Grey and Solar Red, a pair similar to the new Seaweed and Volt Blazer High AC’s. The Atlanta internet-phenom-turned-rapper matched his kicks with a Solar Red cardigan and pair of dark rinse jeans. Soulja Boy also made headlines as of late by making his way onto the Forbes’ 2010 “Hip-Hop Cash Kings” list, earning a number 18 spot on that exclusive list. Look out for his new album, The DeAndre Way, which is currently scheduled for an October 5th release, but in the meantime, let us know what you think of his latest ‘fit.

Air Jordan XI (11) Retro Cool Grey | Available for Pre Order

Earlier today Sneaker News gave you the heads up on an available pre-order of the Nike Air Foamposite Pro ‘Pearl’. In an effort to clean you out completely, we’d like to share another pre-order for the Air Jordan XI Cool Grey that is currently slated for a late-December release. Considering the release is months away, there is a considerable mark-up involved, but some might say the extra dough is worth shelling out if it means avoiding a release like the Air Jordan XI Space Jam. The earliest shipment for this pre-order isn’t until September 30th, but peace of mind is worth more than a few bucks, right? Take a look at the extra detailed shots and reserve your pair now at VMVINC.

Star Wars x adidas Originals Upcoming Releases

The Star Wars x adidas Originals collaboration is arguably one of the best-executed partnerships we’ve seen in a while; combining the iconic Star Wars characters with classic adidas silhouettes, the Star Wars x adidas Originals catalog is surely one to remember for a long while. Here’s a look at the next wave of releases, taking on an “Athletics” theme; check out the Yoda x Stan Smith featuring a humorous yet supremely awesome graphic of Yoda with a headband and tennis rackets or the ‘Empire Athletics’ patch. These releases give off more of a High-School rivalry rather than an Empire vs. the Rebellion theme, so check out all of the upcoming Star Wars x adidas Originals releases after the jump and pick a fave! via SF.

Nike SB P Rod 2.5 Red Grey White

P-Rod’s fourth shoe recently dropped and P-Rod and crew partied like it was 2005 (when the P-Rod first dropped). Also showcased was the Nike SB P-Rod 2.5, the vulc-soled “hybrid” combining the second and third of the P-Rod sig line. Featuring a red suede upper and a grey leather swoosh, these ‘Raging Bull‘ P-Rod 2.5s are sick enough to take away some of the P-Rod IV limelight due to the luscious suede tone and slick skate-shoe design. These just released at Limited EDT in Singapore so check out local SB spot soon if you’re into these; extra images await you after the jump so take a look and let us know what you think of this colorway. via Streething.

Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke @ Nike Harajuku Part 2

We recently showed you a Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke that was done at Nike Harajuku in Japan during the four-day pop-up Bespoke event last month. For the special session a special palette of tiger-striped ponyhair was available, which was used in the first Harajuku Bespoke we showed you. Here’s a look at a second pair, which features a reverse material blocking of the croc-skin and tiger-striped ponyhair as well as tiger-stripes on the inner lining. It’s been said time and time again that those who take part in the Bespoke Experience want to take advantage of all the options by indulging themselves with materials, and these are no exception. Is it too much at once or a work of art? Do we have a new Air Force 1 Savage Beast on our hands? Take a look at the extra shots after the jump and let us know what you think.

Nike Air Foamposite Pro Pearl | Available for Pre Order

The Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Pearl’, arguably the most anticipated release of 2010, will be available at select retailers on September 3rd, 2010. Think you’ll find a pair on the shelves a few days after the release date? Most likely not. Here’s your opportunity to avoid the inevitable lines/campouts/midnight releases; Foot Locker has the Pearl Foams available for Pre-Order right now, with a $200 retail price tag and an expected ship date of September 3rd. Sure, you won’t have them ON release date but it’s worth waiting a few days in the mail instead of battling the hundreds of other hopefuls on RD. Head over to Foot Locker and reserve your pair now, or get your pair even earlier by picking up a pair on eBay.

Size? x Bodega x Puma Blaze of Glory Pack

Remember those classic WWF 3-on3 tag-team matches from the 90′s? Size? is taking that three-man approach with its next 10th Anniversary celebratory collaboration, as it employs the help of Bodega and Puma’s Blaze of Glory. Two colorways will drop – one in a tan leather and another in all black – with speckled midsoles and a ‘Size? Matters Bodega’ tongue label. Much like its previous Puma collab that involved Australia’s Sneaker Freaker, this latest upcoming partnership is one that should not be overlooked. Check out the teaser pics after the jump and expect these to hit September 19th.

adidas Originals Forum Mid OT Tech Pack Fall/Winter 2010

Earlier this year the adidas OT Tech Pack featured the Forum Mid alongside a Superstar as well as a Nizza Low and ZX Special. Arriving in the coming months are three new colorways of the adidas Original Forum Mid, taking the OT Tech design like the saw-toothed panels on the upper. The OT Tech Pack featured a cool mix of black, marine blue, and white tones, so now these three colors will release as standalone colorways in tonal uppers. Each features a contrasting strap color as well as a heel strip for added variety. Watch for these to hit adidas Originals retailers in the coming months and let us know which colorway catches your eye. via HS.

Nike Air Max 24/7 Midnight Navy Blue Lacquer

Easily one of Nike’s most successful hybrids to date, the Nike Air Max 24/7 has seeped beyond sneaker-head cult hit to mainstream success. Haven’t you noticed a ton of 24/7s around? Here’s a colorway that just dropped – one that Sneaker News previewed months ago; featuring a mix of blue tones – midnight navy and blue lacquer to be exact – with a silver 3M wrap-around panel and heel, this Air Max 24/7 may remind you of older 95 colorways but the full-length Air in the vibrant blue is eye-catching to say the least. These just hit Sneaker Bistro so watch for these to drop at Nike Sportswear retailers soon.
