Cadillac grills, Cadillac mills. Check out the oil on my Cadillac…sneakers? On a scale of 1-to-10, that might score a negative-three in the make-sense-o-meter. Cadillac, the luxury subsidiary of General Motors, has embarked upon a new endeavor of sorts, as the auto company known for its stretch coupes or more recently its daunting SUVs is now trying its hand with sneakers, and its employing the help of Bun B, a hip-hop recording artist who is also recognized for his penchant for flashy footwear. Bun B’s been spotted with Space Jam-esque kicks recently, like the Air Jordan XI Retro to a pair of Space Jam Bespokes, but this new pair is indeed a set of Cadillacs in a piano black patent leather and mesh-type material underlay. A Cadillac crest logo is also placed adroitly on the rear heel of the midsole as well. Take a look at Bun B’s newest kicks and let us know what you think of this latest partnership. via FRESHNESS.

The James Bond for David Beckham x adidas Originals collaboration has produced some of the coolest lifestyle-oriented takes on Three Stripes’ classic designs. Here are three new models from Bond and Becks, each of which has its roots in a classic adidas release, albeit with some significant changes. Take for example the adidas Forum Mid, whose white sole is easily identifiable, but we’ve never seen a forum in nothing but lush hunter green leather! Next up is the ZX Trail Mid, which borrows its sole from the ZX 8000 and its soul from a similarly hewn Marathon TR Mid that released earlier this year. And last but not least, the adidas Montreal-inspired Stripes lowtop, which lacks a heel cup so you can fold it down for double duty as a slip-on. Check out shots of all three after the jump and look for them at select adidas Originals retailers starting October 10th. via EUkicks

Size? must be the coolest sneaker selling kid in their neighborhood cos it’s 10th birthday celebration has been the party of the year. They were just one of twenty in what was probably last year’s biggest single collaboration, the Reebok Pump20 campaign, but Size? have managed to get nearly half as many in 2010 all to themselves! Spread across a ton of brands and styles, the latest in the Size? 10th Anniversary collection is this duo of Nike Blazer Mids with all the old school trimmings. Pairs in black and white both have orange accents including the OG fat ‘belly’ Swoosh are available where else, but Britain’s Size?

As if the Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals collection needed any more visual stimuli, check out this upcoming colorway of the JS Wings in a full-3M upper. In regular daylight, this Silver JS Wings has more than enough going on but add a beam of light and the Wings truly takes flight. The entire upper along with the Wings on the lateral side of the shoe feature the reflective material but then again, previous JS Wings releases like the Rainbow JS Wings should be enough heads up that crazy colorways are the norm. Check out the extra detailed shots after the jump and let us know what you think of this 3M JS Wings. via suelasdegoma.

When you’ve already up and changed the game by going to a cutting edge Flywire-equipped lowtop sneaker instead of the mids and highs that have dominated basketball for decades, what more can you do? That’s the problem facing Nike Basketball and the Nike Zoom Kobe series. Kobe’s been a champion as long as the ZKs have been lowcut, so it looks like they’ll keep that trend and move further in the direction of textured uppers for the latest followup. The Nike Zoom Kobe VI is quite possibly the most highly textured sneaker intended for performance basketball use, ever. In these new teasers, you can see a black and yellow pair that’s completely covered in a scaley texture that, while totally unlike the real black mamba, suits Kobe’s nickname quite well. As part of the buildup to the World Basketball Festival, Nike designers got up with a group of talented youngsters for a Make Something!! workshop. During these crazy sessions at Nike Stadium in the Bowery, these kids were charged with creating a hybrid design that combines elements from the three biggest Nike, Inc. brands: Nike, Jordan Brand and Converse. What they ended up with most strongly favors the Nike Air Max Hyperdunk, but the strap has been moved lower and updated with a Jumpman logo, while the heel has been modified with some Converse flavor. Click the jump below to see a video detailing the process and stick with Sneaker News for more on how Nike Basketball shoes come to fruition.

In the past week, we’ve learned the release dates for both the ‘Cranberry’ Nike Air 1/2 Cent and the Air Jordan 1 Armor, but little did we know we’d be treated to a Cranberry AJ1 Armor! Varsity red is among the most common colors to appear on Jays so this pair with the pearlized Foamposite upper with black and white accents is right at home with the rest of the Air Jordan family. Set to touch down a month after the Metallic Silver AJ1 Armors, the Cranberry Air Jordan 1 Armor will release at select Jordan Brand retailers including Foot Locker in December 2010. The Star Wars invasion of adidas Originals has led to some sick shoes and the concepts are truly endless due to the vast array of characters and themes of the Star Wars saga. Check out the Star Wars x adidas Originals Conductor Hi, designed after the Death Star; the upper features a two-toned white/black colorway with white leather on the front and a mix of black materials on the center panel and heel. A Stormtrooper/Death Star logo sits on the tongue – not much different from a biker gang crest planted on the back of leather biker jacket. ‘DS’ can be found on the lateral heel in Letterman-Jacket style print. These just hit select adidas retailers like Extra Butter so don’t miss out on these joints!

Nike ACG was always ahead of its time but these new designs are downright otherworldly. Following the LunarPath and Lunar MacLeay onto the surface of the moon are the ACG Lunarwood and LunarBoot aka Lunarstorm. The former is an updated take on the classic Wildwood trail runner seen initially in a collaboration with WoodWood, while the latter updates the Woodside rainboot with a sleeker look. Both of these come in a grey and black mix with just the right amount of neon accents and you can see both of them in more shots after the jump. Be on the lookout for these at Nike Sportswear retailers and stick with Sneaker News for more All Conditions Gear releases.
