When the first images of the silver colorway of the Air Force 1 x Foamposite mash-up first surfaced, the response to Nike’s latest high-profile hybrid shoe was mixed at best.  A lot of people must have been won over between then and the release, because the shoe disappeared pretty quickly from almost every spot they hit a few weeks back, despite the lofty Foam-driven price tag. There has been much speculation over whether or not more colorways would follow, and now, Nike Sportswear gives us our first peek at a new Black/Black version. The Nike Huarache Trainer is a certified classic from the historic Nike Trainer catalog, and after an extended wait, Trainer fans will finally see an updated version that is very much worthy to carry on the torch. Sneaker News showed you images of the upcoming Nike Zoom Huarache TR Mid during our coverage of the Nike Athletic Training Footwear Preview, and even Wale – arguably the biggest celebrity sneakerhead at the moment – was already seen rocking a pair of the Green Hornet Huarache TR Mid. Here’s an exclusive look at an upcoming Black/Volt/Dark Grey color-scheme; the primary color of the exoskeleton is black, with a dark grey inner bootie and midsole trim with neon volt accents on the “teeth” of the midsole, the branding on the in-step strap, the inner liner, and heel-tab.

The black/grey/volt colorway has been a staple of Nike footwear since its breakthrough appearance on the original Air Max 95, and does an excellent job once again on this highly anticipated shoe. At first, you might think Jesse James and the Air Jordan 1 might be a strange match, but Michael Jordan’s love for motorcycles makes this special promo sample of the AJ1 make a lot of sense. Here’s a look at the Air Jordan 1 High Retro in Black/Red made for Jesse James of West Coast Choppers; this 2002 Retro pair features the WCC logo on the heel with the initials printed on the forefoot, as well as ‘Jesse James’ stitched on the inner lining of the shoe. Michael Jordan may have well been one of WCC’s high-profile clients, so this promo sample was possibly a gift to Jesse James and the WCC crew. In mid-June Sneaker News showed you an amazing pair of customs done by Jake Ferrato aka JBF, one he called the Nike SB Blazer Mid ‘Molten Lava’. His newest custom pair of Blazers should put him one step closer to becoming a household name in the customs category, as he achieves the clean and simple look to a tee using premium materials on an unfailing black/grey/white colorway. Here’s a look at the a custom Nike SB Blazer Mid that Jake titles ‘Stealth’; the upper is constructed of 1000 Denier Ballistic Nylon, Black Leather, and 3M Reflective material, with a quilted inner lining. The rear heel panel features a special angled cut, making the swoosh appear as if it’s tucked under the leather panel, and the entire package is finished off with JBF’s signature stitched onto the heeltab. Asian sneakerheads already have the benefit of seeing many shoes drop in Japan way before they hit in the US, but this new Nike Air Force 1 High Quickstrike might be a step to far.  It’s quite a shame that these are an Asia-Exclusive release, cos the classic high-contrast colorway coupled with premium materials makes for a killer AF1.  The underlay and midsole on these is white with a supple black leather on the Swoosh, eyelets and toebox offering a subtle contrast to the richest tumbled leather you could imagine on the hindfoot area.  Add touches of red on the tongue and sockliner and these are among the best AF1 Highs not named ‘Foamposite’ in a year that has been dominated by the Lows.  Check out more shots after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for updates on any way US buyers can get your hands on these.  via IST

Terry Kennedy’s first shoe with Supra featured a super-high cut with two gaudy straps at the ankles. For his second shoe, the Supra TK Low, the script was flipped as TK went with a low-profile low-cut silhouette, almost a complete opposite of the Supra TK Society. This new colorway of the TK Low in teal, black, and white, features a canvas and leather construction as well as a TK tongue label. The Nike Twilight Runner was released in recent years, taking design elements from various Nike runners from the 90s. A truly retro-inspired sneaker, the Twilight Runner has been a big hit in Europe, where Nike runners reign as king. This new colorway of the Twilight combines Stealth Grey, Orion Blue, Deep Royal, and Black with perfect colorblocking, resulting in a probable hit yet again.
