By now you should be well aware of the Friday release of the Nike Air Foamposite Pro ‘Pearl’, but you might be wondering about possible destinations for copping a pair. You can add 21 Mercer to the short list of spots; the release of the Pearls thus far has been limited to large chain stores as well as Nike locations so for those who rely on local mom-and-pops might be short on luck. Instead of drowning yourself in tears, head over the 21 Mercer in Lower Manhattan in NYC if you’re in the five boroughs and cop your Pearl Foams there, or skip the lines and pick up a pair right now on eBay.

Nike’s Neptune Blue is right up there with Chlorine Blue as the most pool-like shade of azul offered by the Swoosh, and here’s a way to carry some of that summertime sapphire goodness with you for the rest of the year. The Nike Air Max 90 is back with a novel colorblocking pattern that adds select blue accent hits to an otherwise white and black design. And the AM90 cushion is caged in grey on the midsole to add a little balance to what would otherwise be something of a “panda plus blue” colorup. Check out more shots after the jump and look for these soon at US Nike Sportswear retailers as they just popped up from Swiss sneaker suppliers, Titolo.

While most of us are eagerly looking forward to the Metallic Pewter Nike Air Foamposite One’s that Wale had on last week, Q-Tip brought out some Metallic Silver Foamposite Pro’s over the weekend when he and A Tribe Called Quest performed at Rock The Bells Festival at Governors Island in New York. The Metallic Silver and Black Foamposite Pro’s that Q-Tip rocked were originally released back in 2008 and have yet to see another release since then. If you’re in the market for some Foamposite Pro’s, don’t forget that the Pearl White Foamposite Pro’s will be released this upcoming week. Check out who else made some notable appearances at Rock the Bells after the jump.

One sign of true sneakerheadism is owning a subscription to Sneaker Freaker’s quarterly publication; the bite-size magazine (in comparison to those huge ad-filled textbooks that are out nowadays) is filled with pages and pages of the hottest sneakers and features of the current times, and usually the cover is adorned by one of the latest and most topical sneakers. Case in point, the Jeremy Scott x adidas Snuggles Bear on the cover if Issue 19. The plush animal that has been in show-biz for decades is Jeremy Scott’s latest ‘prop’ for his eccentric line of avant-garde footwear, and in Sneaker Freaker Issue 19, you’ll get a good look at the shoe as well as other Jeremy Scott news. Also included in this issue is an interview with Ronnie Fieg of NYC, a look at the re-introduction of the adidas EQT, and other great sneaker topics for your freakers out there. Check out the Sneaker Freaker Issue 19 cover after the jump and pre-order your copy on Sneaker Freaker now.

Ah, Senior year. Schoolwork still matters but once your college apps are in, all hell will break loose! What did Kobe do in his final year as a Lower Merion Ace? Won a state championship, got placed a plethora of First Teams (McDonald’s, Gatorade, yadda yadda), took R&B star Brandy to the prom, and oh yeah, got drafted by an NBA team. Earlier this year the Kobe V Lower Merion Aces colorway dropped as did a colorway for Rice H.S. in NYC – but here are two new colorways for those who like to feel close to home; both Home colorways features white bases with contrasting swoosh in colors representing its respective school colors, and of course the school’s logos on the heel. Both pairs will drop this Labor Day Weekend at select Nike Basketball retailers so take a look at the detailed images of each pair after the jump and let us know which colorway you prefer. via Kix-Files.

“Dwight Howard is a beast.” That’s probably the single most common expression uttered in regards to the Orlando Magic center since he was drafted first overall in 2004 as the last straight-from-high-school #1. Young Dwight’s soft spoken demeanor belied his burgeoning cannonball shoulders, and Howard has emerged as one of the league’s elite over these past few years. Fitting, then, that D-12′s new adidas Basketball signature is dubbed the adidas TS Beast, the sequel to last year’s TS Supernatural Commander. The first colorway is a do-it-all for the Magic, with a simple sapphire and white colorway adding just a touch of metallic silver for a little pop. Check out more shots after the jump and look for these to hit retailers just after Christmas on December 28th at retailers like Foot Locker.
