We all have a few pairs that we keep on ice, saving those deadstock Nikes or Jordans for the sunniest of days when your swag level surpasses the already dangerous one-hundred-thousand-trillion level. Breaking out a fresh pair of kicks induces an almost drug-like feeling of elation but get some antacids ready because what you’re about to see will turn your stomach. Twice. Here’s a look at a small sample of an impressive sneaker collection from Valmonte of NT; he lives in Singapore, a country with one of the most humid climates in the world, and unfortunately his storage methods were rendered futile by the relentless moisture of the local atmosphere. His Air Jordan IV White/Cement, Air Jordan Vs, and even the more recent Air Jordan XVII and XVIII have fallen victim, and you can see his once proud Air Jordan Retros and Originals have withered down to breadcrumbs and leather. Take a look at his dissolved Air Jordans after the jump and remember, wear your kicks before it’s too late!

By now you should be well aware of the upcoming Air Jordan Flint XIII (13) Retro – even Fabolous rocked a pair during the Air Jordan x Atmos Pop-Up Store Launch Event. Celebs like to stay topical when it comes to sneakers and the Flint XIII was certainly a great choice. These are set for a stateside release in November, but as you know, Asian retailers typically get stuff way sooner than we do. If you needed these earlier like Fabolous did, we gave you a heads up on RMKStore’s early drop, but now our friends at KicksCrew has these available as well. If you want to avoid the lines or possible resale prices, might as well pay a little above retail to guarantee yourself a pair, right? Check out images after the jump and head over the Kickscrew to cop a pair.

There’s a good variety of garments here, ranging from the classic Dri-FIT tees to polos, pants and water resistant jackets. You’ll notice a fierce bird insignia on some of the items, which, along with alot of the color combos on these garments, shouts out Paul’s family’s Mexican heritage. Check out more shots after the jump and look for these at Nike SB retailers.

Sneaker News recently confirmed the black/snakeskin Kobe sample of interminable roots to be the Nike Zoom Kobe VI (6) but there’s no time to rest yet. Here’s a look at another upcoming Kobe shoe with equally nebulous origins; the upper is clearly all Kobe, with a purple and gold colorway, a snakeskin applique on the upper, and Kobe’s shozoku logo on the tongue and bottom heel. The midsole design is similar to the Air Force XXV Low, which featured a translucent bottom sole as well as midsole stitching, and the upper appears to be a combo between the Air Force XXV Low and the Nike Zoom Kobe V. In addition to the Purple/Gold colorway are four more familiar combos, like a Home-and-Away White and Black colorway with Purple trim, a ‘Draft Day‘ mix of White, Black, Aqua, and Purple, and another reptilian colorway mixing green with purple tones and a snake-skin applique. This take-down shoe of the Kobe line has a casual appeal but looks to be suitable for basketball as well, so check out the extra images after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for more updates. via NT.

A good deal of what’s hot in 2010 has been the simplest of colorways and blocking patterns, and while this new Nike WMNS Air Force 1 Low ’07 only uses three colors, it certainly makes the most of the trio. Even without the patterned underlay, orange and white makes for a clean yet high-contrast look, but add in the woven sections that combine these colors and you’ve got the makings of a sleeper hit. We’ve seen green and black pairs like this already released and now the Total Orange and White WMNS AF1 Lows are available for purchase from NikeStore or get yours now from smt_footwear_695 on eBay.

The Nike Air 1/2 Cent ‘Cranberry’ was a shoe that immediately made its way on a ton of Christmas wish lists, and rightfully so. The Air 1/2 Cent is one Nike’s more successful hybrids of the decade, and combined with the never-before-seen colorway on the Foamposite, this Varsity Red aka ‘Cranberry’ colorway was an instant hit when images for dropped. The color-blocking follows the same recipe as the original Royal Blue colorway of the 1/2 Cent, featuring a black base and trail-inspired laces. Take another look at this sweet pair after the jump and let us know if you’re looking forward to the Cranberry more than you are the Eggplant 1/2 Cent. via osneaker.

John Wall is Reebok’s biggest signing since Allen Iverson and the first year point guard looks to bring the Vector logo back to prominence with some powerful performances in DC. Wall has shown the world a few different colorways of the upcoming Reebok Zig Slash, but for the NBA rookie photoshoot, he opted for something a bit older from RBK. Wall was wearing the Reebok ATR Make it Rain, a shoe that was particularly popular in China thanks to having been worn by Yao Ming. Let’s hope the Make It Rain doesn’t have similarly devastating effects on John Wall’s feet, and you can see what Wall and the rest of the NBA stars are wearing all season in Sneaker News’ ongoing NBA Feet column. via Dime

The Nike iD options for the Nike Air Max 1 and Nike Air Max 90 have ran through their respective cycles, and today new available customizations have arrived. For the Nike Air Max 90, the most recognizable change is the return of the classic mesh toe box, taking place of the rip-stop nylon from before. An updated color palette is available as well. For the Nike Air Max 1, a full-suede-upper is available but the mesh toe as well as the speckling options have been removed for now. Take a look at some of Sneaker News’ mock-ups, utilizing the new colors, patent leather and suede options, and toe box materials and head on to Nike iD to create your own pair.

Anyone who dismissed the Supra Skytop II for its use of an Air Jordan VI-like tongue has been summarily shut-up by the range of dope colorways so far. Out for almost a year now, the Skytop II is pictured above in one of its nicest iterations thus far, a collection of brown leathers that’s just perfect for fall. Not only do the sections of this Skytop II come in different shades, but there are a variety of degrees to which the leather is tumbled, compounding the tonal effect. Check out more shots of these brown beauties after the jump and grab a pair from select Supra retailers including CCS.

Earlier today NBA newcomers Wesley Johnson of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Derrick Favors of the New Jersey Nets were featured in the 2010 NBA Rookie Photo Shoot. Here’s a look at their Player Exclusive colorways of the adidas TS Heat Check; Johnson’s pair features a blue/white colorway with WES-4 stamped on the heel, while Favors’ red/white Nets colorway features ‘D-FAV’. Both players were drafted early in the lottery and have super-star potential, so the addition of these two young cats to the adidas squad is great for the brand. Continue reading for another look at these Heat Check PEs and let us know what you think of the colorways and designs. via Dime.

The Puma Suede is about as similar to the Clyde as it could be without actually being the same shoe. Both offer a very similar silhouette and midsole, but a closer look reveals the Suede to have a row of stitching on its sole that’s absent from the Clyde, with the Suede utilizing a rounder version of Puma’s signature formstripe than its older brother. So with that in mind, you can more readily see how the Suede’s lowtop DNA has been cloned into this new Suede Mid Velcro model, which will be available in four suede and two leather colorways come October 2010. From All-Black-Everything to white-tee and khaki cargo shorts, Jay-Z can pull any simple outfit off with ease. Just last Thursday Jay-Z helped kick off the World Basketball Festival with a great musical performance that capped off the WBF’s Opening Night extravaganza at the Radio City Music Hall, but more recently he was spotted mingling with celeb-couple Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin. To match the sandy beach tones, Jay-Z wore a pair of the Kanye West x Louis Vuitton Don in a tan/beige colorway, matching his simple summer outfit to a tee.
