Elephant Print manages to spice up anything it touch, does it not? Here’s a look at the Nike SB Dunk High with the sublime Elephant Print applied to the toe box as well as the lace-placket, using the black-on-grey combination that originated on the Air Jordan III. These customs were done at the hands of Cemetery Drive, who recently added the universally loved print on the pair of the recently released Nike SB Dunk Low Chromeball Incident. Does elephant print match well with the Brain Wreck SB Dunk High? Continue reading for an extra look and let us know which of Cemetery Drive’s customs look better. via N-SB.

“I love the Nike Hyperfuse!”
Rajon Rondo burst into the scene, emerging as the pivotal player on a Celtics roster stacked with big-name superstars. In fact, his clutch play was one huge reason why the Celtics were able to shake off the regular season dust and and leave Wade and the Heat, LeBron and the Cavs, and Superman Dwight Howard and the Magic in said dust en route to an Eastern Conference Championship. Rajon Rondo describes himself as a “low-cut guy” but fell in love with the design and weight of the Hyperfuse, and even compared it to the Nike Huarache Basketball line from the earlier part of this decade. Check out Rondo’s video after the jump and let us know what your favorite performance basketball shoe is. via Eastbay.

San Francisco-based HUF is one of the best places to get your hands on the hottest lifestyle sneakers and skate shoes in the Bay Area. Having collaborated with Nike and DVS on a series of shoes, Keith Hufnagel and crew started their own line of lifestyle-oriented kicks earlier this year and now HUF’s Fall 2010 footwear collection has started to hit retailers. Each of these five pairs is super simple, relying on a monochromatic upper comprised of canvas, nubuck or suede. Choose from the Hupper hightop in black nubuck or red canvas, the Genuine lowtop in navy blue or olive green canvas, or the Choice lowtops in black suede. Pictures of all five pairs follow the jump and you can grab yours at select retailers including Paul Rodriguez’ Encino, CA boutique, Primitive.

Gourmet continues to roll out its Fall/Winter 2010 footwear collection, and here’s one of the more curiously named models. Gourmet’s The 26 doesn’t stick with their old Italian-inspired naming convention, instead opting for a seemingly indecipherable numerical designation. Whatever The 26 lacks in literal naming it makes up for with smooth good looks, with both of these pairs offering high quality leather uppers atop simple white soles. Chose from caramel with a pebbled texture or a tumbled black pair, both of which you’ll see in more images after the jump. via Dunk.com.cn

Just because ‘The Decision’ has already been made, doesn’t mean basketball’s over till late fall. In fact, Nike Basketball seems to be ramping up production in advance of the 2010 FIBA World Championships and the inaugural World Basketball Festival. Done in the traditional red, white and navy, here’s a look at the kicks you can expect to see from USA Basketbal as the month progresses. There’s the Nike Hyperdunk 2010, which we’ve seen in a number of player exclusive colorways for both the US and abroad, and will likely share time with the Zoom Hyperfuse as the most popular shoe for the USAB squad. Rounding out the trio is the Zoom Kobe V, a shoe whose endorsee won’t be playing, but will likely see its fair share of tiem on-court nonetheless. Check out shots of all three from Nike Harajuku and grab a pair from your local Nike BB retailer.

Before the announcement of the Foamposite x Nike Air Force 1, arguably the biggest Foamposite-related news story was the upcoming Eggplant and Cranberry colorway of the multi-Penny hybrid Air 1/2 Cent. Varsity Purple (aka Eggplant) was introduced last year on the Foamposite One so the colorway wasn’t much of a surprise, but the new Varsity Red colorway (aka Cranberry) certainly caused a few shockwaves in the sneaker community. Only a Foamposite shoe can sport a scene-stealing color like Varsity Red, so its debut on the Air 1/2 Cent should come as no surprise. Here’s a new look at the upcoming Cranberry 1/2 Cent, heading for a Holiday 2010 release. These should be one of the best shoes of the final quarter of the year so take a look at the detailed images after the jump and let us know if these will be a must-cop for you. via MS.

Over a week ago Sneaker News showed you this new colorway of the Nike Air Max 90. The black/grey/red colorway instantly attracted Jordan-heads, leading some to consider getting the pair despite not being Air Max enthusiasts. The colorway was most commonly attributed to the Air Jordan IV (4) Black/Red, and that comparison is not far off. The lace plackets and midsole feature a grey tone, much like the midsole and the lace “wings” seen on the AJ4. While these have released at overseas retailers like Schuh-You, a stateside release is still up in the air – Euros get a ton more Air Max ‘trainers’ than we do. Check out the extra shots after the jump for another look.

Nike iD gives you a true opportunity at creating a legitimate 1-of-1 pair of kicks, and now the options just got a lot better. Nike Harajuku has new Nike Dunk iD options available at its Nike iD Studio, such as a polka-dot underlying layer, a weathered workboot leather, wool inner linings, and a universal favorite – gum bottom soles. The wool lining paired with the workboot material would make for a perfect pair of shoes for the upcoming colder seasons, and the polka dots would be a nice option for something with a bit more levity. Check out the sample combinations of the new Nike Dunk iD after the jump and head over the iD studio in Nike Harajuku to set your appointment.
