The marbled white pair of Jeremy Scott x adidas JS Wings 2.0s was true to the mythical foundations of its inspiration, but what about the company that made Mercury’s winged boot famous? Another new pair of JS Wings 2.0s has just started to hit retailers, and with its high-contrast black on white look, these are about as close to the Goodyear insignia as depicted on their tire sidewalls, as you could get. And despite the similarity and their history of collaborations with Three Stripes, Goodyear isn’t officially involved with this project, leaving J.Scott’s signature as the sole name attached. Click the jump below for more images and grab a pair of these crazy kicks from RMKstore on eBay.

Austin Jermacans and his Future Sole design is indeed the future of Carmelo Anthony’s sixth signature shoe, as the original Melo M6 has been placed on the backburner in favor of Future Sole Melo M6. What started off as a sketch in a high-school student’s notebook is now featured in the Team USA ‘United We Rise’ colorway, featured the paisley-like graphic on the forefoot strap as well as the collar that wraps around the entire ankle. The red midsole stitching also adds an Air Force 1 motif to the design as well. Although Carmelo Anthony will not participate in the FIBA Games, he will cheer on his American teammates and so can you because this limited release is now available at osneaker.

The Nike Royal Mid has been subject to a ton of customization, taking the form of a French pastry (Macaron), a classic workboot, and now, a strange combination of molded leather and wool. A blue and purple colorway of the Air Royal Mid VT dropped at 21 Mercer not too long ago and this new colorway of grey, white, and volt green was recently made available. If you’re looking to branch out and try something new, these Royal Mids aren’t a bad start. Check out the pics after the jump and cop a pair now at SNS.

Earlier today Sneaker News gave you a first-person look at the Jordan Brand Breakfast Club Finale Event that featured Jordan Brand superstars Dwyane Wade, Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony, and of course the man himself, Michael Jordan. What are we interested in? The kicks! Both CP3 and Melo (perhaps future teammates in New York?) wore the University Blue and Black Air Jordan II (2) Retro while Dwyane Wade rocked the recently released Air Jordan IX (9) Retro in the OG colorway. Michael Jordan went for the tonal look as he donned a university blue warm-up set with a pair of the Air Jordan Alpha 1 that was featured in Sneaker News’ coverage of the ‘For the Love of the Game’ Showcase in June. Jordan in Jordans, now that’s a sight, isn’t it? Check out the gallery of images after the jump and let us know know which Jordan Brander – the man or the proteges – had the best outfit.

Space Jam Blazer Mid Part II? Months ago Sneaker News reported a new colorway of the Nike Blazer Mid that featured a glossy black finish on the upper with a tonal swoosh and a blue rim on a white midsole. Those were dubbed the ‘Space Jam Blazer Mid‘ due to the similarity in the colorway as well as the Space Jam XI being the hot topic of that time. Here’s a look at a new pair of Blazer Mids in the same black/white/blue colorway; this time, the materials used are different, as we see a pebbled leather upper on a white swoosh, with a textured midsole. Photo Blue can be seen on the tongue-tag as well as the bottom sole. These just released at spots like Premier so check out the images after the jump because these Blazers would be a nice addition to your back-to-school sneaker arsenal.

Sneaker News recently showed you a pair of the Nike Air Force 1 iD Premium MX designed by a Nike Harajuku design consultant. Here’s a look at another colorway chosen by another design consultant who goes by the name ‘Y.K.’; his AF1 iD features anthracite suede upper with a breathable mesh lining in hyper blue, club purple contrast stitching, gold lace-tips as well as a dubrae. Aside from the great colorway is the use of Roman numerals on the sidewall of the midsole, reading 1979 – perhaps a year of significance to Y.K.. Check out the extra shots after the jump and let us know what you think of the colorway.

Two weeks ago Sneaker News gave you a look at Steve Nash’s latest signature shoe, the low-cut Zoom-cushioned Nike Zoom Go Low. Almost like a revamped version of the Cradle Rock Low – Nash’s previous shoe of choice, the Zoom Go Low features six pods on the bottom sole for Nash to apply pressure to, which is important to Nash’s penetrate-and-dish game. This new colorway features a simple black and white although we’d probably see Nash in a Suns-related colorway rather than this pair taken after his rival San Antonio Spurs. These have begun to hit Nike Basketball retailers so grab a pair now from quickkicks on eBay.

After last night’s amazing showcase at the Radio City Music Hall, the World Basketball Festival pushed forward with the Jordan Brand Breakfast Club @ Rucker Park in Harlem, NYC. The guests of honor was the Jordan Brand three-headed monster consisting of Dwyane Wade, Chris Paul, and Carmelo Anthony, who were on hand to meet and greet the children from local communities who were also present to listen to their basketball idols chat about the game and other topics. The lucky children even got a chance to shoot a few hoops with them as Wade, CP3, and Melo joined in on the drills and basketball fun that took place on the famed Rucker Park blacktop, but this time it was a hardwood basketball-ready court under their feet!
All the attending children were given full outfits, including a For the Love of the Game t-shirts, basketball shorts, and a pair of kicks, like the Air Jordan II (2) University Blue and the Air Jordan 2010 Outdoor. Later, Michael Jordan graced the Rucker Park attendees with his presence and joined his three proteges in a Q & A session, and later presented a $23K donation to all the charities that attended the event. Continue reading for a full gallery of images of this morning’s Jordan Brand shindig at the Rucker.

Originally a JDSports Exclusive and now a stateside release, the Nike Air Max 95 Photo Blue is sure to be a huge hit among Air Max 95 fans for it’s resemblance to the original Air Max 95 Crystal Blue colorway. Sneaker News proposed a question – directed to the OG Air Max heads – asking if Photo Blue was ‘close-enough’ substitute to the OG, and many seemed to accept the fact that while the colorway isn’t exact, it was a worthy-enough replica. Decision time will be coming soon enough for these, as they are set to hit select Nike Sportswear retailers in the states next month. Check out the images after the jump and keep an eye out for these on the shelves this September.
