He hasn’t stepped onto an NBA court wearing any of them, but here’s a third signature shoe for Kevin Garnett from his new Chinese sneaker sponsor, Anta. These are more like the heavily piped second pair we saw than the lifestyle-oriented first joints, with a series of dots on the rear midsole instead of vertical slots, along with a new graffiti-style ‘KG’ script. There’s one pair in the Boston Celtics’ white and green while the others you’ll see in more shots after the jump are curiously colored just like their rivals the LA Lakers. Let us know which pair you think is better and stick with Sneaker News for more on the Kevin Garnett Anta deal. via HoopChina

Not to be outdone by CONS, adidas Skateboarding had its own Spring 2011 preview on hand at the ASR Marketplace 2010 tradeshow in San Diego this past weekend. The Tim O’Connor pro model midtop is back, but it looks to have been somewhat upstaged by Mark Gonzales interesting take on the adidas Originals by Originals KZK low-top from Kazuki Kuarishi’s capsule with adidas. Other Three Stripes staples like the Gazelle Skate are also set to release in new colorways, so click the jump below to see the entire collection and stick with Sneaker News for updates. via FRESHNESS

The Nike Vandal High has offered some of the craziest colorways of any sneaker over the years, but this one proves that the Vandal can dress up with the best of em. White leather with white piping is right in step with this year’s push toward monochromatic looks, and you get select black hits to keep up with Nike Sportswear’s other two-toned selections. These black-on-white Vandal Highs are pretty much the exact inversion of a black/white pair that released on the first day of this month, giving you another option for a super-clean back to school look. Check out a bunch of other angles in shots after the jump and grab a pair of these white leather Vandals from Size?

New Balance has done their fair share of super-limited sneakers, but US sneakerheads are often left out in the cold with their Japan exclusives. Such was the case with the dope New Balance CM576 ‘Fujin’, a sick send-up of the Shinto god of wind by that same name. The colorway was heavy on silver and neon green, but for the Fujin 2, atmos and New Balance took a different route. These joints still feature highly breathable mesh upper in honor of the wind god, but with the black, grey and blue design, these come across considerably darker than the OG Fujins. Click the jump below to see more shots of the Fujin 2s and get your overseas connects in order for a release at select retailers including atmos in mid-September.

Some of Converse’s best releases in recent memory have come in the form of the flight jacket-inspired UNDFTD collaborations. The Poorman Weapon made a name for itself with the sleek, shiny look and now it’s time for the biggest of the One Stars to get a nylon treatment. The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star High Spec comes to you in black or olive green, both with white soles to add a bright spot. Check out detailed images of both pairs of these flight jacket Chucks after the jump and grab yours today from the Six Feet Under store at Caliroots.

For Puma’s collaboration with South Korean fashion label General Idea, the Puma Disc Blaze is the center of attention. Choi Bum Suk, the designer of the label, had two things in mind when deciding on the motif of this capsule – the fashion scene of the Seoul, South Korea, and the lyrics from a favorite song of his by Korean artist Deul Guk Hwa. The Disc Blaze features a reptilian textile on the upper with lyrics printed on the side-wall, and the matching hoodies follow the same idea, using a black/white colorway with largely printed lyrics and red/neon green trims. Check out the General Idea x Puma Capsule Collection after the jump for another look. via HS.

While ‘Eggplant’ has become increasingly common this year, there’s still a single release that trumps all the others. Sure, the Eggplant Foamposite Ones insta-retroed on their huge momentum from 2009 and we’ve seen similar metallic purple colorways on the Shox R4 and Pippen II just to name a few, but the biggest new Eggplant release of the year has gotta be this new Nike Air Half Cent. This colorway woulda been perfect for Penny Hardaway’s short stint in Phoenix but instead releases as perhaps the ultimate Nike Sportswear creation. Check out more photos after the jump and look for these at select NSW retailers including Foot Locker on Wednesday, October 20th.

Brazil-exclusive sneakers are nothing new from Nike, with the South American nation known for its love of Nike SB and particularly the Dunk. And while these SneakersBR x Nike Dunk Lows are equipped with Zoom Air, that’s cos they’re Premiums or Supreme-level releases, and not from SB. In fact, the five Dunk Lows you see pictured above were created at NIKEiD Studio, and offer a tribute to the five different regions of Brazil. SneakersBR editor and founder said their “goal was to better understand the many urban cultural scenes, by hearing interesting people in each city from different fields including visual arts, music, photography, advertising, journalism, among others,” so he sent Vincius Popó to tour the nation with these and last year’s ‘Lanciero’ Air Max 1s tucked in his luggage. It’s an interesting study in Brazilian culture and an even more intriguing color study, so check out more shots after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for updates.
