Nike WMNS Air Feather High Red + White

Complete this analogy: Nike Dunk High is to Nike Dunk High Skinny as Nike Air Force 1 High is to . . . ?  Even if you’re not studying for the SAT, you’ve gotta know the answer to this is the Nike WMNS Air Feather.  The Air Feather is a streamlined AF1 for ladies who want to achieve that immortal Uptown look but prefer to avoid anything resembling ‘bulky’.  These two new colorways are perfectly timed with their monochromatic colorways offering either red or white leather with a tonal canvas strap.  Check out both pairs after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for all Nike Air Force 1 release dates.  via Dunk

Flight Club @ 812 Broadway

Today, Flight Club officially opened up its largest venue in its storied existence. Flight Club is more than just a sneaker consignment shop; it’s a curator of the sneakerhead culture and earns at least some of the credit for evolving a cult-like sub-culture into a mainstream fashion phenomenon. The moment you open the double-wide glass doors, you’re instantly hit with a daunting wall of sneakers, each pair categorized with faultless effort, collectively doing their best to mimic the wall of a fortress that spans the largest wall of the entire space. Over 1,300 pairs of Converse, Euro-release-only New Balances, the rarest Air Maxes, the crispest Air Jordans, and the most celebrated Nike SBs line the proud brick wall; honestly, it’s quite overwhelming once you step in but within seconds you will realize that you’ve been consumed by the museum-ready display and the knowledgeable staff – there’s no choice but to succumb and indulge yourself in the ultimate sneakerhead experience. Opposite the sneakers is the most impressive wall of New Era and Mitchell & Ness fitted hats, set up battleship-grid style. Flight Club Broadway is now the one and only hub for the rarest kicks in all  the world; its Nassau St. and Lafayette St. locations no longer remain and the Greene St. spot houses the used kicks as well as vintage apparel and gear. Flight Club Broadway is now officially open so be sure to stop in.

Sneaker News Blogs: Best of WDYWT Week of 8/24 8/30

Another seven days of great kicks were dropped in the Sneaker News Blogs: WDYWT section, and although summer’s coming to a close, it seems to be getting hotter and hotter! Customs, unreleased samples, classic Nike basketball, Air Max heat, and a lot more took part in the Best of WDYWT for 8/24-8/30; one user sported a LeBron sample per day while another familiar face (or foot, we should say) brought out some classic Nike basketball. But of course, it’s up to you, the reader, to decide who gets the number 1 spot. Mr. Anonymous took the crown the last two weeks with his Air Force 1 Laser Mark Smith and his Paris SB Dunk Low but is his submission for this week strong enough for a three-peat, or will someone else take the crown? Voting will be open until August 31st, 11:59 PM ET, so let your voice he heard. In the meantime, continue submitting your kicks to WDYWT and don’t forget to check out the rest of Sneaker News Blogs.

The 50 Greatest Air Max 90s of All Time by Complex.com

Complex has been pumping out sneaker-related list after list but here’s a Top-50 of just ONE shoe, the Nike Air Max 90. The list features the usual suspects – Infrareds, Pythons, DQM Bacons – but also some pairs that haven’t seen the light of day in a long while – Hot Coral WMNS, tons of JD Exclusives. The Air Max 90 is one shoe in which the general releases hold weight on par with the rare collabs and limited releases so the list itself covers a wide range. How many pairs do you own, or better yet, how many of these do you even recognize? Check out some of the notable Top 50 selections after the jump and for the entire feature, head over to Complex.

adidas Originals Crafts Pack

adidas Originals’ new Crafts Pack is everything that’s good about a pack of sneakers.  With the quartet of kicks in the Crafts Pack, you get the same premium materials across each pair, but they’re executed differently and each features a different primary colored sockliner.  First up is the adidas Superstar shelltoe, which goes with a red lining for a nice subtle pop.  The Sambas feature considerably more canvas than the Superstars and their black sockliner is the one that stands out the least in this foursome.  The Stan Smiths wouldn’t have been right without a green lining and a Forum Mid completes the set with a hint of blue.  Check out more shots after the jump and look for these at select adidas Originals retailers like Japan’s mita sneakers.

Maharam x Nike WMNS Dunk High Skinny Supreme Yellow + Maroon

Maharam has been around for nearly 110 years, and while they’ve only been collaborating with Nike Sportswear for the past two or three, the latest offering seems to be stretched out over an unusually long span.  The first Maharam x Nike WMNS Dunk High Skinny Supreme releases dropped all the way back in June, with this new duo of pairs dangerously close to falling into the Holiday 2010 collection.  They’d be fine either way, with these warm yellow and burgundy textile uppers well suited for most of the calendar.  Check out more shots of both pairs after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for updates on their release.  via Dunk
