Air Jordan Six (6) Rings Winterized Holiday 2010 Collection

Last year saw the release of the Air Jordan Spiz’ike Winterized Boot, and with cold weather coming quicker than you know it, the Spiz’ike’s AJ hybrid successor is waiting in the wings with a boot version of its own.  The Air Jordan Six Rings Winterized Boot shows how close the Air Jordan XII’s top eyelets really were to your traditional hiking boot lacing system and each of the three colorways we have to show you today is perfect in its own way.  You can’t go wrong with an all-black boot and one with dark brown on the upper with a black sole is equally destined for no-brainer success, but the standout is pictured in the middle and looks to take its colorway from the OG Air Magma ACG.  Click the jump below to see all three pairs and stick with Sneaker News for updates on their release.

Nike Air Force 1 Foamposite Teaser Images

When we look back at this period in the history of sneaker culture, we might note that a huge surge in the overall popularity of the Nike Foamposite series began around the time of the ‘Eggplant’ Air Foamposite One’s release back in February 2009.  We’ve seen a variety of Foamposite retros and Foam-inspired kicks since then, and the biggest very well might be the Foamposite x Nike Air Force 1 High.  The Metallic Silver edition was a Super-Bowl-tickets-quick sellout, and now that that shade is moving over to the Air Jordan 1, it’s time for a Black Foamposite AF1.  Nike Sportswear just dropped a teaser for the Black Foam AF1s that show its translucent outsole flanked by a range of primarily-colored laces.  You can quickly see how versatile this shoe will be, so try to withstand the excitement and be sure to stick with Sneaker News for updates.

Jordan Brand Holiday 2010 Look Book More Sneakers

We showed you a look at the Jordan Brand Holiday 2010 Lookbook featuring Wale and Lee England Jr. last week, and here’s a closer look at JB’s HO10 sneaker collection.  Let’s start on the lifestyle side of the spectrum, where four new colorways of the Jordan V.2 Grown each look to be very well executed.  There’s a couple of brown towns plus one each in grey or black, but if you need a more rugged boot look no further than the Air Jordan Spiz’ike Winterized.  Three Spizike Winterized Boots will hit in Q4, two of which are popular colorways held over from last year.

And speaking of last years, this could very well be the final season for Carmelo Anthony in Denver, but his Jordan Brand signature series continues to roll on strong with the upcoming Melo M7 in a wide range of colorways.  Elsewhere on-court, the Take Flight shows us what JB will do with a full-length Max Air cushion for the first time, while the Rare Air and Flight SC Highs each show a different perspective on where they’ve been.  Click the jump below to see the full collection and stick with Sneaker News for updates.

Nike Auto Trainer Black Red | Available

Nike Training has been rejuvenated over the past year.  The debut of cutting edge releases like the Nike Trainer 1 and Trainer SC 2010 along with a heaping helping of quality retros has put Swoosh sports prep sneakers back at the top of everybody’s wish list.  The latest release is more of a lifestyle shoe, the Nike Auto Trainer hybrid.  It’s a vulc-soled take on the Trainer SC II that saw its OG release about two decades ago, and it’s amazing to see how well the design has aged, although one could argue that’s the case because of how we’ve chosen to make once tech-heavy kicks our everyday beaters.  In any case, this simple black, white and red colorway is sure to find its fair share of fans and you can grab your pair today from JBseller on eBay.

Air Jordan VIII (8) Low Mike Bibby PE

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, it’s considered common knowledge in the sneaker-head community that Mike Bibby is one of us. He’s been the recipient of some sick Air Jordan PEs and you might even remember him wearing the Royal Foamposite One during his Wildcat days. Here’s a look at another of Mike Bibby’ AJ PE stash – the Air Jordan VIII Low. Featuring a simple white, black, ahd chrome colorway with his ’10′ jersey number on the cross-instep strap, and 1Z on the medial side – a shout out to his Team Dime affiliation. The shoes are identical to the Air Jordan VIII Low White/Metallic Silver that released in 2003 so some purple trim to match his Sacramento Kings uniform would’ve been a nice touch. Check out a detailed shots and if you really want these in your collection, check out the auction from abtmchan on eBay.

Air Jordan CMFT Viz Air 11 Varsity Royal + Varsity Red New Photos

There’s an old cartoon gag where the screen zooms out to a shot of the entire planet but you can still hear screaming; imagine that sound as a gasp and that’s what you might expect upon first hearing about an Air Jordan XI hybrid.  Then again, if you have that kind of perspective, you might notice that the AJXI and Air Max 1 are something of a natural match, if not the most obvious pairing.  The Air Jordan CMFT Viz Air 11 brings classic AJ styling to an even classic-er AM1 sole and puts twists on both to fine tune the blend.  The first two colorways are based on the OG Air Max 1 from 1987, with one pair going white/red and the other in white/royal.  An off the wall idea to be sure, the CMFT Viz Air 11 is surprisingly excellent and will be available soon at select JB retailers including Extra Butter.

Nike ACG Lunar MacLeay Fall 2010 Colorways

When the Nike ACG Lunar MacLeay first emerged in teaser photos back in early spring, the world wondered if LunarLon is rugged enough for an All Conditions Gear release.  A third of the year later, we’ve seen the ‘rocket science’ applied to the ACG LunarPath and the MacLeay makes more sense, and now here’s a look at a couple upcoming colorways.  These aren’t your father’s ACG palettes here, with the Lunar MacLeay coming out of the gate with two very dark two-toned designs.  Choose from orange or pink accents when these arrive at Nike Sportswear retailers shortly.  via Sportsmario

Nike Air Max Tech Challenge Hybrid Low Unreleased Sample

Over a year ago Nike released a Nike Air Tech Challenge Hybrid that combined all four ATC models into one. Hate it or love it, it seemed like an appropriate thing to do. Here’s a look at another hybrid shoe, combining an Air Tech Challenge inspired upper design on top of a borderline-skateshoe midsole with a visible Air unit at the heel. This lower-cut shoe does take on more of a classic tennis shoe silhouette (remember, the ATC was way ahead of its time during its original release) but does look like it could’ve crept out of the Nike 6.0 camp. A couple of years ago another scrapped ATC Hybrid came to light but obviously never found a release. Check out the detailed shots and add these scrapped samples to your oddball collection by checking out this auction from oregonsole on eBay.

Nike Hyperdunk 2010 Lakers Black Purple Gold

What happens when you put the two-time defending NBA Champions together with a shoe that’s been at the peak of the basketball sneaker game for three years?  A look that opponents will absolutely hate seeing come through their city, the Nike Hyperdunk 2010 is back in a colorway perfectly suited for the Los Angeles Lakers’ away games.  We’ve got a black cracked marble upper here, which gives off a nice shiny finish and serves as the base for purple and gold accents for that unmistakable Lake Show look.  Check out more shots after the jump and grab yours today from ID4Shoes on eBay.

Jeremy Scott x adidas Cross Combat + Sweatshirt

Jeremy Scott is a maniac.  Master of all things too cool to be kitschy, J.Scott continues to have his way with the tongues of adidas Originals designs.  The latest collaboration in their ObyO capsule is the Jeremy Scott x adidas Cross Combat boot that we first saw as the centerpiece of Scott’s FW 2010 preview.  The boots feature a TRX sole but the key distinguishing feature, of course, is the ornate golden crosses you’ll find on each shoe’s tongue.  And if that weren’t wacky enough, there’s a bejeweled crucifix sweatshirt to compliment the look.  Let us know what you think about these and keep your eyes peeled for a release expected on October 10th.  via EUKicks
