Recently LeBron James participated in a team-oriented workout, in which he ran some drills with Heat coach Erik Spoelstra. While you may have expected James to wear his upcoming LeBron VIII, LeBron opted for the Zoom Soldier IV; perhaps a Heat colorway is in the works. Here’s a look at the upcoming Nike Air Max LeBron VIII in the all-black colorway; the upper features leather panels with nubuck lace plackets. Not much of the LeBron VIII has been revealed in terms of colorways but we do know that LeBron rocked this tonal black colorway during the Nike Skills Academy that was held in Akron. Take a look at the detailed images after the jump and let us know what you think of the design of the VIII compared to the LeBron VII. via MS.

Lebron VII>Lebron VIII
Just because the lebron 7 was successful doesn't mean they could mess with the air max bubble again. every lebron shoe which came out was unique from it's predecessor, from technology to design;and this is not unique.especially in shilouette.

Not for me but they look like a good fit for his game.
September 5th, 2010 at 4:10 pm
look better then the first pics we saw…A whole lot better.
September 5th, 2010 at 6:21 pm
I really like the look of the 8s. You can tell just by looking at the padding inside that the feel and fit is going to be far superior to the 7s. I can't wait to get a pair of these!
September 5th, 2010 at 8:08 pm
these and the ones he is wearing sitting on the bench at the skills academy are not the same shoe. The the other ones look like they have a zoom air sole rather than air max. look for yourself
September 5th, 2010 at 8:08 pm
NOT FIR$T! More like 4th lol. $top acting like a little kid like it's a race or something.
September 5th, 2010 at 8:20 pm
Much better than most of the 7's. The only thing that made the LB 7's look cheap, unlike the Red Carpets, was the screenpainted swoosh. Not too many sneakerheads have posted comments about that. Just like an authentic NFL jersey with stitched tackle twills, the swoosh is stitched, giving this sneaker more value. Like I said, Much Better!!!!!!!

I agree.
September 6th, 2010 at 9:00 am
agreed
September 6th, 2010 at 11:21 am
THESE ARE TOO BULKY AND THE SWOOSH BEING ON THE BACK MAKES THEM LAME.
September 6th, 2010 at 3:37 pm
I doubt there will ever be a better lebron than the VII…
