Jack of all collaborations Darren Romanelli is back with an homage to what might very well be the all-American sneaker. The Dr. Romanelli x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Cup is a part of One Star’s ongoing (RED) charity effort and these ‘Born in the USA’ Chucks are well suited to add white and blue. They feature a diagonally oriented flag on the side panels whose stripes dive downward into a gum rubber cup sole for added comfort. One pair is literally RWB while the others go for a subtler black-on-black approach with the stars and bars shown by contrasting finishes. Check out more shots after the jump and expect these at select Converse retailers soon. via CT
