Joining the RED campaign and the world-wide fight against AIDS is Dutch artist Pieter ‘Parra’ Janssen and Converse in a collaborative effort to help raise any amount of monetary donation to help the cause. Not a bad idea considering anything Parra touches skyrockets in price – but at least this time its for a worthy cause (and not just fattening up your sneaker collection). Parra’s finished product with the Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star features a cream/beige suede upper dotted with the ‘Cherries For a Good Cause’ character. These were a limited release and were available at select sneaker retailers but are available now from 95soleman on eBay.
