Not even two hours ago Sneaker News confirmed the release of the Air Jordan V Retro Black/Metallic Silver as well as a slew of other great Air Jordan releases. One of those upcoming Retros is the highly anticipated Bordeaux VII – an OG colorway of Jordan’s seventh and a Sneaker News favorite. Here’s a look at the 2011 production version of the Air Jordan VII Bordeaux Retro (aka the “Retreaux”); the colorway remains the same, as it is blocked identically to the original with Black, Light Graphite, Bordeaux, as well as hints of others. The Bordeaux VII is set to release in Spring 2011 so take a look after the jump and let us know if these are a must-have for you. via Modern Notoriety.

I just wanted to clarify that the mid-sole isn't as shiny as people think. Its less shinier than the 01 sample!

the tounges are not the same on any pair of bordeaux's alway a diff pattern and colors, so im sure they will have yellow, this just might be a cut without yellow, or just a lil bit we cant see. so other then the shiny midsole humps these loook identical!!!! good job jb!!! finally made a good retro!

Its the same old story, Retro release, retro sellout because suddenly everyone has to have it.
Now there's a black fire red metallic V coming out in May without the 23, but whats really different about it otherwise? Is it going to be better quality? Nope, probably worse than the 2007 release. Then everyone's gonna be wanting to have the 2007s because the 2000s will be 11 years old this year, and quite unwearable. The same thing will happen once they make a 2011 version of the Raptor 7s, people still like, "I hate it, but I got to have it cause its a retro Jordan" or plan to buy multiple pairs and steal away chances for anyone else to get one pair at already overpriced retail.

This shoe right here is a black man shoe. The reason I said that because the shoe was design for the African Black Power Movement from the late 80s into the early 90s. White people should not be copping this shoe point black period. This is a piece of history for us.
