Duplicating the dominance and sheer star power of the 1992 Dream Team is next to impossible, but with a new generation of stars in the NBA, we’re getting closer and closer. LeBron James is viewed as one of the shining stars of today’s NBA and despite not winning Gold on every occasion during which he wore red, white, and blue, LeBron’s presence on the court is one huge step towards regaining the worldwide dominance the USA enjoyed during the 90′s.
LeBron James has competed for Team USA a number of times since the beginning his career; he began his tenure in 2004 in the Beijing Olympics and since then he’s been a part of Gold Medal Team USA in 2008 as well as FIBA squads in 2006 and 2007. During international play, LeBron James has showcased a number of USA-inspired colorways from his signature line, like the most recent Nike Zoom Soldier IV to the most primitive of LeBron shoes, the Nike Air Zoom Generation. Take a look at this timeline of LeBron James’ Team USA kicks and let us know which colorway you feel represents USA the best. via NikeLeBron. Additional images from eBay.
