Eggplant Foamposite x Nike Air Force 1 Low Custom by Emmanuelabor

The recently released Nike Air Force 1 Foamposite combined the classic basketball shoe with the mid-90′s technology. The result? A visibly identical yet structurally different hybrid shoe – it looked like an Air Force 1 High but sure did not feel like one. Sneaker customizer Emmanuelabor took it a step further by altering the Air Force 1 both structurally and visually, as the upper construction of his Eggplant Foamposite x Nike Air Force 1 Low features the wavy lines and deep grooves found on the Nike Air Foamposite. The toe-box and lace placket are constructed with suede and the heel tab is made of leather. Truly the first of its kind, the Eggplant Foamposite x Nike Air Force 1 Custom was no easy task, so take a look at the gallery after the jump and let us know if you’d cop this interesting project if they end up releasing.

  23. gqmanchan92 Says:

    ummm eggplant stew?

  24. GourmetKickz Says:

I agree with Benny, cool concept. Although I think Nike executed this properly by using the shape of the AF1 and the material of the foamposite. Forcing the two together did not flow, clearly. I think it is obvious at this stage in the custom sneaker game that pretty much any two sneakers can be combined. Materials, stitching, adhesives, most of them will bend at persistent will and determination.
These are unfortunately, very hard on the eyes. Sorry EL. Better luck next time???

  25. iNonymous Says:

its a custom, nike has nothin to do with this

  29. pdinero Says:

i just threw up in my mouth .. theres a reason why they did'nt put the waves in the af1 posite

  30. Man757 Says:

He Only failed cause he tryed? You failed cause u hated, So who's making more progress?
