Nike’s late ’80s/early ’90s running aesthetic is was so perfectly crafted that models like the Air Max 1 and AM90 have given way to hybrids and even new models based on that look and feel. Such is the case with the new Nike Air Max Command, a simulacra of a sneaker whose closest relative is the faux-retro Air Max Skyline. There’s also a tiny bit of Air Tech Challenge in there on the swooping midfoot support, but the colorway is distinctly modern. A 112 Pack-like mix of black/silver/neon makes any sneaker look hot, and these joints can be yours now from JD Sports.
