Air Jordan VI (6) ‘September Blue’ Custom by Gonzo4of9

Air Jordan Vi Blue Custom 12

Rarely will you come across a pair of the Air Jordan VI Original in September Blue and with the Air Jordan VI Retro of 2010 come and gone, it doesn’t look like we’ll receive a pair anytime soon. One Jordan fanatic took matters into his own hands by transforming a pair of the Air Jordan VI White/Varsity Red into the close replica of the OG September Blue joints, and the results proved that this low-risk/high-reward experiment paid dividends in the end. Gonzo4of9 of UTA Forums did a simple tape job and painted over the Varsity Red midsole with a shade of blue that is comparable to the original September blue (is it a coincidence that he did this in…September?) and also painted over the strip on the heel ‘spoiler’ but left the Jumpman on the bottom sole alone – the paint wouldn’t last one wear anyway. Overall, job well done. We’ve seen conversions of Varsity Red to Infrared as well, but which do you think is better?
