Nike ACG Bakin Posite Boot Cranberry

2010 has been an interesting year for Foamposite; we’ve already seen four different releases of an Air Foamposite shoe (Copper, Eggplant part deux, Pearl, Cough Drop) as well as a long-time member, first-time participator in the Air Force 1 Foamposite. Here’s a look at yet another new Foamposite-laden Nike shoe, the Nike ACG Bakin’ Posite Boot in a Fire Red ‘Cranberry’ upper color. We’ve seen Foamposite on a Nike boot but the upper construction of the molded material features new flex grooves and somewhat of a slimmer design. However Foamposite isn’t the only point of interest on this shoe, as this upcoming winter release features a visible Air unit, a carbon-fiber heel counter, and a design inspiration from the controversial Nike Air Bakin’ basketball shoe of the 90′s, as seen on the configuration of the flex-lines on the upper and the flame-graphic on the heeltab and outsole design. More colorways are surely on the way so take a look at the detailed images after the jump and reserve your pair from osneaker, which has a January 8th, 2011 shipdate.

    AUTOMATIC COPPP

  2. Sneaky_Feet Says:

The best foam-inspired shoe yet. The "flex-lines" of the Bakin are what put these over the hump. That feature is absent from Foam AF1s & Foam AJ1s.

  3. magicave23 Says:

must copped .wow these are hot

  4. John K. Says:

I agree with you all…just don't know if I can pull off Cranberry. I think these would look insane in brown/gum – like the Total Foam Max colorway from a few years back.

  5. Steelo_Brown Says:

These are dope! Would like to see them in another colorway.

  8. J From MD Says:

What the hell is this? I'm a fan of ACG's and Bakin's, but let's be real, you should keep them separate.

  9. Ques Says:

didn't nike say foamposite material is limited and won't be able to make in the near future? I tried to collect every foam. but then realized i bought into the BS. good job nike

  10. hellrazah Says:

not tim hardaway boots LOL LOL

  11. frank Says:

    Well…Air Bakin's were never foams….the foamposites were foam…

Bakin's are strikingly similar to foamposites, but, the key difference is, bakin's didn't foamposite technology.

They took the Air Bakin and made it into an ACG while adding foamposite materials.

So technically speaking, these are not foam inspired at all… These are Air Bakin inspired, with foam added to it.

  12. bj24 Says:

Can wait to see other colors, but I love the design.

  13. Sneaky_Feet Says:

Looks like a Bakin/boot – with foam material. Looks like it was inspired by a foamposite to me. IDK….

  14. HondurasKix Says:

i have to cosign with frank, its not that hard,
bakin shape, foamposite material, so itll be bakin inspired, theres no room for IDk…

  15. @Akidnamedupso Says:

WTF . . too much going on here for me .

  16. ZadforEh Says:

these are absolutely pulled off, finally a nike foam design done pristine. will not get as these boots are so freaking heavy and stiff, but well done

  17. grownANDsexy Says:

didn't like them at first… they look like really good looking HUGE space boots… but if this was in a more traditional boot colorway, maybe it would work better for me.

Can only imagine what this would look like on a person who has a foot size bigger than 10 LOL

  18. AirVeezy Says:

Imagine these with yellow laces. Perfect redskins hookup!

  19. pull a Fredo Says:

What do you mean limited? It's just polyurethane.

Oh, and SN, that heel counter is not actual carbon fiber. It looks like plastic with that carbon fiber print on it. Gross.
