In partnership with Nike Sportswear, SneakerBR presented a special event titled ‘Spreading Sneaker Culture Throughout Brazil’ which showcased the sneaker culture and its cultivation in Brazil. Vinicius Popo, a well known Brazilian blogger and graffiti artist, embarked upon a country-wide tour in which he discovered more about the sneaker culture of five major regions of Brazil. Showcased at the event were five special colorways of the Nike Dunk Low, each representing one of five regions of the country, with each pair featuring a custom insole designed by Popo. The artwork was inspired by each of the cities that were part of his journey. His experiences were documented through video and art, which were also featured at the event. Kind of a waste, since these dunk were not offered for sale. Friends only!
However, the colors can be replicated at the iD Studio for $300!
So much for "spreading" sneaker culture!
Maybe this way they get money to fix the neon lighting on the store front! LOL
