BREAKING NEWS:
After Sneaker News dropped information on a possible Air Jordan V (5) Grape/Laney Package for the Summer 2011 season, looks like we’ll have another pair of Fives to fit into our sneaker budgets. Expected to drop in Summer 2011 is a Cool Grey colorway of the Air Jordan V Retro; thanks to this image from TSG, it looks like this stunning upcoming release features a mix of grey tones on the upper, constructed with a luxurious leather fitting with a boot-like distressed texture. The midsole is a tonal grey while the outsole is translucent, and the “sharks-teeth” also comes back in the speckled form that we all adore. It seems like ello just doesn't know which cw the "green beans" are, so he did not know what you meant by the 3M not matching well with the V's…*sigh* hypebeasts don't know their kicks lol….

But there is no other actual 100% confirmed cw of any other AJ 5, for 2011 besides this grey one.
And as far as the Grapes/Laney pack…It's too much heat for one pack. Every pack JB has come out with has had a Theme, Infrared 6 pack….well they were both infrared so that worked, all the CDP's added up to 23, 60 plus packs…even Toro Bravo had some sort of theme going.
And JB did realize how stupid it was releasing multiple cw's of the 6's or 9's and to a degree the 2's for 2010, so they're spreading out the releases of each retro, new cw or retro, out.
Summer 2011 confirmations, at least for GR releases are: Bordeaux and Cardinal 7's, True Blue 3's, and these Grey 5's…..
So JB is spreading out the colorways of a specific retro AJ.

I don't get it, people are saying these will go hard like luxury… have you all forgotten the fucking burgandys?! I hope this is just SN getting it wrong, last I heard these were called WOLF gray, not cool gray. Anyway, these are most likely gonna be a pass for me. I'm just praying that the fire red 3's are what bring Jordan quality back up to what they used to be. I bought the flint 13's and after trying them on at home, threw up in my mouth a little. they feel like fucking cardboard. I'll be copping the cool gray 11s before xmas. but if the fire red 3s materials aren't worth the price tag, I'll just forget picking up Js. I don't understand how they haven't addressed this issue yet…. Seems like JB might want to step up after the LBVIII south beach. Makin JB materials look like fakes.
