Trainer/Turf Retros have been a huge hit this year – Griffey Max 1, Griffey Max GD II, Diamond Turf, Air Trainer Max 91 – and fattening up that belt is the return of the Nike Air DT Max ’96 in the White/Red/Black San Francisco 49ers colorway. A true 90’s classic, the DT Max returned earlier this decade – as recent as three years ago – but that doesn’t take away the status of the shoe; the design itself is one of the more aggressive motifs – looks like the shoes are relentlessly tearing apart the turf under it – and the in-step strap is surely one of Nike’s trademarks of the mid-90s. Take another look after the jump and expect these to release on November 20th at Nike retailers and stick with Sneaker News for other upcoming colorways.
