A model so popular it’s already spawned a sequel, the Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals JS Wings is back in a brand new colorway. The JS Wings 2.0 has shown up in white/black and marbled white, evoking Goodyear and the Greek god Mercury from whom they borrowed their logo, respectively, but now Mr. Scott takes a page from Nike/Jordan Brand’s book. The JS Wings pictured above is entirely constructed in reflective 3M material, which means that these are even more eye-catching than your typical Jeremy Scott kicks (if that’s even possible). Check out more shots after the jump and grab the 3M reflective JS Wings from TGWO.

“I’m fast and it’s light.”
Poignant words from Derrick Rose, who described the compatibility between his game and his all-new signature shoe with adidas. Derrick Rose’s name will soon join Deron Williams and Chris Paul in best-PG-in-the-L discussions, and with Carlos Boozer joining the squad and a refreshed roster, we’re going to hear Derrick Rose’s name for a long time. Arriving at adidas Basketball retailers like Foot Locker in mid-November is the Chicago Bulls white/red/black colorway of the adidas adiZero Rose; the shoe appears to be a high cut shoe but the lockdown fit stops at the black collar, which serves to accommodate Rose’s ankle wraps (but can also be worn with regular socks). Take an extra look at the adidas adiZero Rose after the jump and expect these to drop on November 12th.

A four-time NBA All Star and All-NBA selection, Dwight Howard was the first player selected in the last NBA draft that allowed players straight from high school. It’s easy to forget that D-12 is only 24 years old, and that combined with his impressive physique at such an early age earned Howard the nickname ‘Manchild’. That’s what you’ll see on the tongue of his new adidas TS Beast, a nickname that will come to designate what looks to be (one of) Howard’s home shoes for the 2010-11 season. Black sections on the side panels have the look and texture of tumbled nubuck but that’s actually a finish applied to a Sprintskin upper. The black parts are framed in white and the select bright blue accents make these an obvious match for Dwight’s Orlando Magic uniforms. Check out more shots after the jump and look for these at select adidas Basketball retailers like Eastbay soon.

About two weeks ago, Sneaker News scooped you on the first signature boarding boot made for Nike Snowboarding rider Danny Kass. Kass took to the powder last year in the Zoom Force 1, a super-high boot with obvious Air Force 1 inspiration, but his new signature model is something more akin to Paul Rodriguez’ latest Nike SB sig. The Nike Zoom DK offers a sleeker design than the ZF1, constructed in an ergonomic shell and also featuring Zoom Air cushioning in the heel. The Zoom DK’s simple styling belies its tech-happy design, leaving the cloudy art designed by Mark Dean Veca to shine on the simple black/purple colorway pictured above. These black/Quasar Purple Zoom DKs are available now at select retailers including the Nike Sportswear flagship in NYC.

The North Face is perhaps the single best known and most respected name in rugged apparel and accessories. Their ubiquitous fleece and bubble coats prominently feature the concentric tri-arc insignia and Helvetica Regular script that have become a worldwide symbol of status and quality. That’s the same logo you’ll find on the tongue and lateral toe of this new ‘Back to Berkeley’ pack of boots from The North Face. Two models cover the low and high end of the hiking boot spectrum, with the lows borrowing Nike ACG’s OG Baltoro colorway and the highs going for a traditional combo of orange, olive green and brown. Check out shots of both pairs after the jump and grab yours today from Offspring.

With the colder months coming up, you might need to set aside those mesh-uppered shoes in favor of something a bit more thicker. Check out these two new colorways of the Nike Free Winter TR in Black/Volt and Black/Photo Blue; featuring the same silhouette as the Nike Free TR (Free-grooved sole, Flywire outrigger), the Winter version replaces the lightweight mesh upper for a thicker material – much like the one seen on the Nike Trainer 1.2 Mid Winter that Sneaker News showed you not long ago. For those winter-night running sessions, the Nike Free Winter TR should be a great choice for your feet. Both colorways just hit Nikestore so take another look after the jump and head there to stock up.

If there was a perfect time to release this shoe, based on its name, it’d have to be fall season. With young people everywhere back in the scholastic school of things, here’s the latest colorway in this year’s Air Jordan Ol’ School IV. The fourth Ol’ School from Jordan Brand follows the same general theme as the previous three, vaguely touching on familiar design cues on Air Jordan Legacy kicks from nearly 20 years ago. These navy and white joints feature angular, swooping lines derived from Jays VI and VII. Whereas the black pair we showed you a little earlier offered quite a bit of Elephant print, these move things up from an AJIII influence to AJIV, adding a bit of the Four’s signature speckle print to the blue midsole sections. Check out more images after the jump and look for these at select JB retailers like FinishLine.

The Air Jordan XIII in White, Black, and True Red is one of those rarities in the Air Jordan Legacy catalog because it’s been untouched in the Retro department for nearly thirteen years. If you were to randomly select an Air Jordan model/colorway, chances are it’s been retroed already. Originally introduced in January of 1998, the White/Black-True Red-Pearl Grey colorway of the Air Jordan XIII was worn by Michael Jordan during the regular season of his final year with the Chicago Bulls – so that just adds to the special nature of this shoe. This Jordan Retro is slated to hit later this year but if you really want to break some necks this month, these are available early right now from chrome-knight on eBay.
