James Bond for David Beckham x adidas Originals ZX800

Their ‘Gazelle’ Mid is absolutely nothing like the original, so it shouldn’t shock you to see a slightly unexpected design from David Beckham and James Bond‘s ObyO capsule for adidas Originals.  Here’s Becks-n-Bond’s take on the adidas ZX800, a sneaker that admittedly looks more like its original than the aforementioned Gazelle Mids.  Beckham’s ZX800 erases the original’s side panel Three Stripes, and while the OG ZX800 sole remains intact, the rest of the upper has also been altered.  Pretty much all of the Eight Hundred’s signature design elements, from the triangular toebox cutouts to the midfoot plastic eylets — they’re all gone.  Instead what you’ve got here is kind of like a ‘shell’ of a generic running shoe in a simple colorway that should satisfy plenty in the lifestyle market.  Check out more shots after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for word on the release date.  via SF

Nike ACG Air Escape Fall 2010 Colorways | New Images

The return of the Nike ACG Air Escape should be one of the highlights of 2010; this 90′s ACG model was a popular model back then and should be the same as we approach the chillier portions of the year. Here’s another look at two of the upcoming colorways; you might remember the beige pair, which features a mixture of Twine, Turbo Green, Mega Blue, and Black, and the second Anthracite/Daring Red-Black pair serves as a nice alternate for those looking for brighter colors. A perfect match to the Miami Heat uniforms, but people in South Florida can wear flip-flops year round. Take a look at both colorways of the ACG Air Escape after the jump and watch for these to drop soon at select Nike Sporstwear retailers. via Chapter-ex.

Nike Air Max Hyperdunk 2010 TB New Colorways

The Nike Hyperdunk provides supreme lightweight comfort and fit – but now you have the opportunity to choose between two equally astounding cushioning systems. Sneaker News gave you a heads up on the release of a number of team-based colorways of the Zoom-cushioned Nike Hyperdunk 2010, but here’s a look at the Nike Air Max Hyperdunk 2010 in similar colorways; this worthy alternative features carbon-fiber upper with an added ankle strap, but the main focus is obviously on the basketball-specific 360-Air Unit. Check out the seven new colorways after the jump and pick up a pair now on EastBay.

Nike Air Force 1 High Black Medium Gum Brown

Aside from the Foamposite hybrids, dope collabos and geo-local packs we saw this summer, one huge reason the Nike Air Force 1 is enjoying such a strong resurgence is its return to emphasizing its strength with simple palettes.  This latest AF1 High shows why nearly three decades of Uptowns have produced more colorways than any other shoe in history  It’s a simple all-black design that ends up on the opposite side of the spectrum from bland, thanks to a contrast of tumbled and smoooth leathers along with that gum rubber outsole so many sneakerheads just adore.  Check out more shots after the jump and look for these at select Nike Sportswear retailers soon.

Nike AFE Special Forces Boot (SFB) Chukka

Initially introduced during the Holiday 2009 season, the Nike Special Forces Boot was a knee-high military-inspired boot that featured a lace shroud and rugged materials. Later we saw a Nike SFB Mid, which featured a lower ankle cut but similar construction. Here’s a look at the Nike SFB Chukka, which features a similar upper design but with a chukka-cut and a Free-grooved sole. The upper features a camouflage print seen on the inner lining of the Nike Lava Dunk –  the same print this is considered the trademark for the upcoming Nike Athletics Far East Collection – which points to an AFE affiliation. The Nike AFE Collection begins to release on October 1st so we can expect the Nike SFB Chukka to fall not long after, so take another look after the jump and let us know what you think. via HS.

Celebrity Feet: J. Cole Air Jordan III Retro Collezione

J. Cole was one of the musical guests of honor during last night’s EA Sports Triple Double Event. He wowed to crowd with a live performance, during which he rocked a crisp pair of the Air Jordan III Retro from the Collezione Package of 2008. The Air Jordan 3/20 is arguably the most popular release of the Countdown Collection with many shelling out the $300+ just for the Retro IIIs. To match his footwear, J. Cole also wore a red/white/grey plaid shirt with some clean denim. Check out more images of J. Cole’s outfit after the jump and let us know what you think of his kicks.

DVS Rico CT Harold Hunter Foundation Series

Skate-brand DVS has created a commemorative capsule featuring the brand staple DVS Rico CT skate shoe in three colorways paying tribute to Harold Hunter and the Foundation created in his name.  The goal of the Harold Hunter Foundation is to bring a positive inspiration to inner-city youth through skateboarding – the sport Harold Hunter was most notable for. Hunter is remembered for his involvement in the skate-scene in the Lower East Side of Manhattan but is also recognized for his role in the 1995 film Kids. The DVS Rico CT Harold Hunter Foundation Series will be available at select skate shops just in time to mark Harold Hunter Day, which falls on October 10th. Nike Air Max 24/7 Neutral Grey Glass Blue

The two ‘OG’ colorways of the Nike Air Max 24/7 (Neons and the Chili Red-inspired pairs) were mega hits for the 24/7 so Air Max heads are patiently waiting for more color combinations following the original motif of the grey color gradient matched with a secondary color. Here’s a look at an October 2010 release of the Air Max 24/7, adopting the same color-blocking but with a vibrant Glass Blue; the eye-catching color takes over the candy-like Air unit and bottom sole as well as the lace-hoops and branding, but what’s different from this pair to the two OGs is the use of color on the 3M-strip along the mudguard as well as on the heel. Minor changes aside, this colorway is absolutely fiery – it’d even be a knockout on the Air Max 95 – so stick with Sneaker News for release updates and let us know what you think of the colorway. These will hit Nike Sportswear retailers like EastBay next month so check out the pics after the jump.

Nike SB Zoom Bruin Club Purple Abyss

Buttery suede on a low-profile skate shoe? What an indomitable pair. Here’s another look at the Nike SB Zoom Bruin in Club Purple that was initially previewed in our Nike SB Footwear October 2010 Preview; featuring a tonal purple upper with a swoosh in a darker Abyss tone, this October 2010 release of the Nike SB Bruin is certainly fitting of the ghoulish holiday that lies at the end of the month. If the color purple is your thing (not the movie), peep the extra shots after the jump and pick up a pair early at FlatSpot, or wait for these to roll around your local SB account soon.

Air Jordan CMFT Viz 10 Summer 2011

Even if the suggestion would have sounded downright heretical before its unveiling, the Air Jordan CMFT Viz 11 managed to successfully blend the Air Jordan XI and Nike Air Max 1 into a single cohesive package.  The next Air Jordan x Nike Air Max hybrid is somewhat more of a stretch, combining the AJX with the Air Max 97 runner.  The Air Jordan CMFT Vis 10 is also a smooth blend, but bringing in the eyelet style from the Jordan Tens adds a bet of AM95 feel into the mix.  That’s all fine and dandy, since the Air Max 24/7 proved how similar 95s and 97s really are, and the clean lines of the AJ10 work hand-in-hand with the Ninety-Seven’s sleek silhouette.  Check out more shots after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for updates on this Summer 2011 release, along with the confirmed but yet-to-be-revealed AJ CMFT Viz 13.  via TSG
