It’s usually Nike 6.0 following in ‘big brother’ SB’s footsteps, but for two of the more interesting releases this fall, the Swoosh Skate division is vice-versa-ing the chain of command. Taking cues from the Melee 6.0 that hit in mid-summer, the Nike SB Classic High offers an inverted take on how to apply Realtree camouflage. Unlike the upcoming Dunk Mid Premium SB, these go for a simple brown and gold colorway, hiding the aforementioned photorealistic camo print on the sockliner. You should probably get both pairs to cover your bases for the hunter theme, and the Realtree SB Classic High is available now from select Nike SB accounts including FlatSpot.

When all is said and done, the ‘Cool Grey’ Air Jordan XI will likely go down as the biggest sneaker release of 2010. A highly sought-after release nearly a decade in the making, the Cool Greys are set to drop on December 23rd, both details they share in common with last year’s mega-hit, the Space Jam Elevens. So when images of the CG AJXI emerged with matching shoe trees like the Space Jams, many readers were upset to see Jordan Brand’s standard box in tow. The Space Jams came in a spiffy slideout box, and at the same MSRP, shouldn’t the Cool Grey 11s get the same treatment? The answer is, of course, yes, and today we have images to confirm what the official Cool Grey Air Jordan XI packaging looks like. And for those of you who preferred last year’s package, you’re in luck, as you’ll be getting more or less the same style of box, this time done in Cool Grey and white. Check out shots of the CG Elevens and their box after the jump and if you need to take care of it early, grab a pair today from SneakerApe.

Take a detailed look of this special colorway of the Air Max LeBron VIII and expect these to hit select Nike Basketball retailers like Foot Locker on October 26th.

The Nike ACG Lunar MacLeay is combination of Nike’s rugged outdoor ACG styling and its cutting edge running technologies, as the upcoming Holiday 2010 release features a sturdy molded upper with trail-ready details with the supreme comfort of the Nike Lunar cushioning adopted from the Nike Lunar Elite. Surely one of the more anticipated Holiday 2010 releases from Nike Sportswear, this China-Exclusive colorway of Solar Red and Moss Green fetaures a tonal red upper, white midsole, a black-on-grey speckled midsole rim, and a moss green inner lining and tongue tab with a red star stitched on its face. Seemingly a brand new design, the Lunar MacLeay features a number of old-school touches; the script font on the heel is a throwback to the Nike Talaria while the upper silhouette resembles the Nike ACG Okwahn, and the name itself is a tribute to the MacLeay trail in Portland’s Forest Park. Take a detailed look at the China Exclusive and expect three colorways in Faded Taupe, Dark Army, and Black to hit this Holiday 2010 season.

Here’s another look at a strapless Nike SB Dunk Mid featuring a Dark Army/Orange Blaze colorway with a Realtree camouflage upper that was previewed yesterday; quick and obvious comparisons were made to the Reese Forbes x Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Hunter’, which features a similar outdoor colorway with a woodland camouflage graphic on the upper, but are these better than the version released in 2004? A Nike 6.0 Melee also released with a similar graphic but with a green tone, but if you’re purely a Nike SB kinda guy, these should drop at select Nike SB accounts soon because they are slated released this weekend at select Japanese SB accounts like arktz, so take another look after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for more info.

If the Staples Center was Kobe Bryant’s body, the Nike Vault would be a tattoo covering his entire body. The Nike Vault recently opened and although serving primarily as a Nike Basketball retail spot, it also acts as an homage to Bryant, his success with the Lakers, and his connections with the city of Los Angeles. Adorning a dominant wall of the Nike Vault is a finely drawn graphic of Kobe Bryant, featuring a timeline of his career achievements as well as a landscape of the city he’s called home since the ’96 NBA Season. The supremely awe-inspiring mural is the work of Eric Siador, who is renown for his graphic photo-realistic depictions and trademark linework. This is truly the object of envy for anyone with dreams of becoming a legend, so take a look at the entire mural after the jump and let us know what you think of Siador’s artwork. via ArrestedMotion.

On Monday Sneaker News gave you word of a release date for the first Nike Zoom Kobe VI colorway but here’s another that you can expect to release sometime after; spotted at the Lakers training facility during a special event, this never-before-seen colorway features a white upper with a black swoosh and blue midsole and inner lining. Perhaps the Kobe VI’s take on the ‘Duke‘ or ‘Miles Davis‘ or any other blue-infused pair, this color combination is just one of many we should expect – if the Kobe VI will be as widespread as the Kobe V. Take another look at this new colorway after the jump and let us know what you think of the Kobe VI now that it’s viewable in another color, and stick with Sneaker News for more Kobe VI updates. via phanatik6 on NT.

Certain kicks demand too high a pricepoint so some have to resort to a “poor man’s” version of the shoe; the SB Dunk Tiffany is surely one of the more coveted shoes of this decade but we’ve yet to see anything truly close to the colorway. Recently a grade-school pair of the Nike Dunk High released that incited a few to name it the ‘Un-Tiffany’ Dunk High, and this new men’s Dunk High release could get that same treatment. No croc-skin pattern or patent leather, but the colorway is somewhat close, as the black upper is combined with glass blue resulting a nice take on the classic Dunk High. If you like the colorway (or have some ideas for a custom Tiffany SB Dunk High), check out the extra images after the jump and head to Nikestore now to cop a pair.

The Nike Air Max 24/7 is one of the best hybrid runners yet, a testiment to how sneakily similar the Air Max 95 and 97 designs truly are. The 24-7 debuted earlier this year around the same time and as a part of the sprawling Air Attack Pack, and here’s a simple colorway that would have been right at home in that collection. The AM24/7 ‘Blackout’ comes to us with a palette that’s sure to see its fair share of hours on the job, and the combination of black and anthracite is perfect for keeping with the trends toward all-black everythings and tonal design. Check out more shots after the jump and look for these at select Nike Sportswear retailers this November.

Transworld Skateboarding started off in 1983, but the oldest, still-running major skate mag was started two years before that. Thrasher was founded in 1981, has given out the Skater of the Year award since 1990, and has produced or collaborated on countless skate films. And now in 2010, they’re following in the footsteps of fellow San Francisco native Keith Hufnagel by expanding the brand’s offerings to include some classic skate sneakers. The Baker lowtop, Muir and Buchanan Dog hightops each have familiar design elements, but each monochromatic suede pair has its own feelthanks to the magazine’s immortal script embroidered on the heels. Check out shots of a full range of colors for all three models and be on the lookout for these at stateside skateshops; they’re out now in Japan at mita sneakers.

To this point, Supra has made its name with flamboyant super-hightop designs that paved the way for its audience to open up for a series of classic skate-oriented designs. With the new Supra Henry, the crown brand makes a major step toward further expansion as their first ever boot. Somewhere between their Bandit and a traditional 6″ Timberland boot, the Henry features a breathable canvas collar and a light sole affixed with classic Goodyear welt construction. We’ll see four new pairs for the Holiday 2010 season, including the beautiful brown full-grain leather pictured above, with others in oxblood full-grain, and black and army green TUF. Check out shots of all four after the jump and be ready when the Supra Henry hits Factory 413 at noon, Friday.

The Nike Air Max 90 has enjoyed a range of dope colorways in this its 20th anniversary year. From the high-contrast two-toned looks in the Air Attack Pack to the classic Infrared and Laser Blue colorways, the Ninety never fails to satisfy. The latest pair has its own sort of classic look, with a trio of colors you might find on a number of varsity jackets. White, orange and navy make for a Mets/Knicks look, but frankly, these are better than both of those squads. Take a look at more shots after the jump and look for these at stateside Nike Sportswear retailers soon; they just hit Swiss sneaker spot Titolo.
