Arriving this Holiday 2010 season from the Nike Sportswear camp is a hybrid shoe combining the Nike Lava Dome and the Nike Dunk; featuring the Dunk upper with the Lava Dome sole, the trail-ready Nike Lava Dunk features hiking-boot style laces with D-ring lace hoops, a perforated black leather and ripstop nylon upper, and a camouflage print inner lining. Somewhat reminiscent of a Timberland Field Boot, the Nike Lava Dunk will arrive at Nike Sporstwear retailers in the coming months. NFL Feet: Terrell Owens Air Jordan III Cleat PEs

Sneaker News showed you a sweet pair of Air Jordan III Cleats that Terrell Owens – a Sneaker News Celebrity Feet regular – wore during a pre-season practice session. For Week 1 and Week 2 as well as the pre-season games of the 2010 NFL Season, Terrell Owens broke out some fresh heat in the form of Air Jordan III Cincinnati Bengals Cleat Player Exclusives. Featuring a black upper with patent leather accents and orange contrast on the bottom soles, ankle, and elephant print, Terrell Owens’ cleats have made appearance against the Patriots and Ravens with the Bengals now at a 1-1 record. Owens still fills up the stat sheets; he’s on pace for another 1,000 yards if he keeps up his pace. Take a look at T.O.’s cleats from the NFL season and let us know what you think of the colorway, and stick with Sneaker News for more PE heat from T.O. throughout the season. via Yahoo!.

Nike Air Max 1 Supreme AP Mid Autumn Festival Pack Unreleased Sample

Just after the 2008 Olympic Games concluded in Beijing, China, Nike Sportswear dropped the Mid-Autumn Festival Pack.  Spread across the Air Max 1, Blazer and Terminator, these joints were heavy on grey and metallic gold, with the Terms and Blazers also offering large portions of crimson.  And while the AM1 eschewed red save for the laser etched mudguard and heel embroidery, the above pictured sample proves it wasn’t always going to be that way.  This unreleased sample of the Mid-Autumn Festival Air Max 1 shows what they would have looked like with Team Red in tow, along with a few other subtle coloring shifts.  Check out more images of these super rare kicks after the jump and let us know which version you prefer.  via MK

Nike Lunar Max+ Dark Grey Sport Red | October 2010

Lunar cushioning + Max Air = LunarMax? Here’s a look at the Nike Lunar Max+ in Dark Grey and Sport Red that features a midsole cushioning unit that combines the lightweight comfort of Nike Lunar and the heel support from Max Air; the cushion construction was seen on the Lunar Max+ Vortex sample that Sneaker News showed you a while back – but this pair features an all new upper with Flywire panels over a mesh layer as well as a heel cup with a tessellation design taken from the Nike Free Run. You can expect this colorway to drop at Nike Running retailers like EastBay with a number of other color-ups arriving not long afterwards. Take another look after the jump and let us know what you think about the Lunar + Max Air cushioning.

Jordan Brand Holiday 2010 Update

Here’s a complete look at the Jordan Brand Holiday 2010 releases; it looks like there’s a lot more than the Air Jordan II Candy Pack and Cool Grey XI, because two colorways of the Air Jordan Force Fusion IV Laser will release, as will two more colorways of the Air Jordan 1 Armor/Anonized. The well-received Air Jordan Winterized Six Rings also comes in a new colorway but for those who prefer the Spiz’ike, a new colorway of the Winterized version will release as well. The first Jordan Brand Holiday 2010 Preview revealed the Jordan Pure J and Jordan Formula, and it looks like a ton of colorways for those two will drop as well. There’s a lot more to see so continue reading for a full gallery of updated releases and let us know which month you’re looking forward to, and stick with Sneaker News for all your Jordan Brand updates.

Air Jordan XII (12) Retro Low White Varsity Red | Unreleased Sample

Back in 2003, the Air Jordan XII was Retro’ed in a number of original and fresh colorways but new to the Jordan catalog was a low-top version of the shoe. The classic ‘Taxi’ as well as ‘Obsidian’ colorways received low-top treatments as did a new white/pink colorway for the women, but here’s a look at a Jordan XII Low that missed the cut; features a tonal white upper with a varsity red bottom sole, this colorway – presumably produced in 2003 to coincide with the 2004 release of the Jordan XII Low – is not an original but very well could have been due to the simple Bulls-inspired colorway. In fact, it’s almost identical to the mid-version of the Air Jordan XII the in Air Jordan History of Flight collection that made its rounds throughout NikeTown locations in the States. Would you cop if these released? Check out the extra shots after the jump and give us your thoughts. via modernnotoriety.

Nike Dunk High Dubai | Available on eBay

In mid-August Sneaker News gave you a look at a special Nike Dunk High awarded to employees of the Nike ASG (Austria/Switzerland/Germany) after the group won an internal contest. Dubbed the Nike Dunk High ‘Dubai’ (a meeting regarding the contest was held in Dubai), these specially made Dunks were exclusive to the employees of that select crew and was never released to the public. Here’s a detailed look at this one-of-a-kind custom; most notable is the rear panel that features a sublime laser graphic, with the most important depiction on the heel that states ‘WE ARE NIKE’. The Dubai Dunks also features a distressed gold swoosh and tongue label as well as blue accents – inner lining, contrast stitching and laces to be exact. Take a look at the detailed gallery after the jump; if you like what you see, one of these pairs just popped up on eBay so check out the asking price from this auction from get_that_oprah on eBay.

Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals Teddy Bear Brown

In what might be the most cuddly-wuddly kicks of all time, the Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals Teddy Bear incited a surprising amount of comments from our readers. Some were floored by the concept and praised Jeremy Scott for his adidas originality whiile others just couldn’t see themselves rocking a childhood toy on their feet. Needless to say, the Jeremy Scott x adidas Original Teddy Bear (or the entire Jeremy Scott line-up) is an acquired taste – like this next colorway of the Teddy Bear, but in a conventional brown. We’ve all had brown stuffed bears as children; would you wear a pair on your feet? Check out the extra images after the jump and let us know what you think. via SF.

Air Jordan Rare Air Cool Grey | Release Info

At the beginning of June Sneaker News showed you a ‘Cool Grey’ sample of the Jordan Rare Air hybrid shoe, and it resurfaces today with quite a few changes; the elephant print on the heel, toe, and lace placket is more prominent and the midsole is another shade of grey rather than the purple ink from the sample version – which will in fact released in December 2010. Also, Orion Blue trim is seen on the Jumpman on the tongue and heel as well as the laces and lace eyelets. These are very similar to the Cool Grey Air Jordan III the released a few years back so being that these do conjure up memories of that popular shoe, this colorway of the Jordan Rare Air could be quite popular. Like what you see? These are dropping this Saturday, September 25th, at Foot Locker House of Hoops locations.

Nike Zoom Don LE Varsity Red Metallic Silver | Release Info

The Nike Zoom Don returned earlier this year as a high-top basketball version of the classic Nike Spiridon running shoe from the 90′s. Sharing a number of design cues like the large swoosh, mesh upper, and mountain outsole, the Spiridon lives on in the Zoom Don – but on the basketball court instead of the running track. This new patent leather Varsity Red and Metallic Silver colorway was previewed in summer, a colorway combo that was a sharp turn from the ‘OG’ inspired colorways that first dropped. Outfitting with Zoom Air and a lightweight construction, the Zoom Don could be another classic in the making. The Varsity Red/Metallic Silver colorway is releasing this Saturday, September 25th at Foot Locker House of Hoops so take an extra look after the jump and let us know what you think of the colorway.
