Upon hearing the Air Jordan 2010 Team was on the way, you didn’t have to ask if certain teams would be represented. Michael Jordan’s Laney High School has a pair and UNC-colored joints are likely to follow, but the newest pair could have just as easily been the AJ2010 flagship with its Chicago-style colorup. These Bred AJ2010 Teams find hints of grey/white on the mid/outsole, which balances the look quite nicely. Check out more shots of the black and red Air Jordan 2010 Team after the jump and grab a pair today from select Jordan Brand retailers like Eastbay.

DJ Clark Kent‘s name has become regular verbage in sneakerhead circles as he’s collaborated with Nike numerous times to create some great releases in the past. Somewhat of a ‘Thank You’ to the Brooklyn-native, Nike created a special set of three Nike Air Force 1 Lows dubbed the Triple Black Pack, with each pair owning its own design concept and inspiration. Patent leather, suede, and full-grain leather are the three bases used for each pair; the patent leather is meant to be for flashier occasions, with white dye used in the laser etching for an urban-styled touch. The leather pair is inspired by a classic black leather jacket, while the suede pair is destined to be the ‘out the door’ pair for everyday use – which draws inspiration from a chukka or a Wallabee shoe. All three pairs are house in a custom laser-etched wooden box, with graphics of the Air Force 1 as well as DJCK’s trademark headphones, and each pair is represented by a circular portrait of the graphics of each shoe. These will not be released to the public so take a look at the this special set of Air Force 1s after the jump and let us know which design you like best. via TSG.

The Nike Dunk Custom Series Highs and Lows he crafted with a special outsole compound offered a significant upgrade, so when we scooped you last week on Eric Koston’s upcoming Nike SB signature, you knew it’d be unique. The Nike SB Zoom Eric Koston One has a sleek, low-profile look somewhere in between the Zoom Bruin SB and Paul Rodriguez’ new P-Rod 4, with a splash of the retired Zoom FC thrown in for good measure. Its upper mostly comprised of one piece of suede, the Zoom Koston One features a two-piece outsole that hides what might be the shoe’s most important feature. The Zoom Eric Koston One’s insole is unlike anything we’ve seen from the typically-flat skate shoe market, offering a highly cushioned LunarLon heel cup that resembles an olympic weightlifter’s shoe at profile. What happens when you cross the Nike Zoom Kobe VI with an Air Force 25? Their lovechild would probably look quite a bit like this new Nike Zoom KB 24, a secondary Kobe Bryant shoe set to release next summer. We’ve seen the KB24 before, when the ZKVI teasers were just starting to leak during the summer, and the purple/gold colorway we showed you back then is the pair that most strongly resembles the ZKVI. The other pairs feature relatively simple colorblocking, with some offering that AF25-like mid/outsole and others going a simpler opaque route. Check out shots of five new colorways after the jump and let us know which one is your favorite. via CK

Nike SB Rider Reese Forbes designed one of the more memorable SB Dunk Lows of the entire Nike SB catalog, using a woodland camouflage upper and burlap materials on a autumn colorway of brown and orange. Here’s a look at another wood-camo uppered SB Dunk, arriving in a similar colorway but in Mid-form; the upper graphic features camouflage print from Realtree, a company that specializes in creating the most photo-realistic outdoor camouflage for related activities (in this case, skating in your local wooded area). The wood-camo print was also used on a recent release of the Nike 6.0 Melee, but with a green hue. The colorway of the strapless Dunk Mid features a mix of Dark Army and Orange Blaze – similar to the Hunter Forbes SB Dunk – so these could be a worthy replacement if you never get a chance to own the 2004 release. Release information hasn’t been confirmed but could release some time soon, so continue reading for an extra look and stick with Sneaker News for updated information.

Recently Sneaker News gave you a look at a possible packaging set-up for the Air Jordan XI Cool Grey Retro which is currently slated for a December 23rd release. Images of Space Jam-like plastic shoe-trees colored in grey hinted at a possible inspired packaging for this release, but these new images of an early pair debunks any theories regarding slide-out boxes, grey themes, or anything to play off the Cool Grey nickname. While the 2010 Cool Grey XI Retro does come included with a plastic shoe trees, the shoes itself will come housed in a regular Jordan Brand box – but at least the color of the packing matches the shoes, right? Perhaps some changes will be made – we’re still three months away from the official release date – so Sneaker News will keep you on top of things. Check out this gallery of images of the upcoming release and let us know if you feel Jordan Brand should’ve included a special box, or if it’s only the shoes that matter. via HK-Kicks.

During Nike SB’s decade of dominance, fashions have ranged from outrageous to super-simple, but one thing you can count on is denim looks great on Dunks. The latest Nike SB Dunk High done in denim features a single colored upper for a look that’s amongst the cleanest of the entire year. It’s a rich blue denim like you might find on Carhartt work pants, and finds its white flecks picked up on the ubiquitous white Dunk midsole. They’re finished off with a black tongue, laces and outsole, and are scheduled to drop later in the year. The Nike Zoom Kobe IV sent shockwaves through the basketball world when its low-cut design debuted in late 2008. The first premium Nike Basketball signature to appear on NIKEiD right out the gate, the ZKIV design was good enough that the Zoom Kobe V stuck to its script, refining many of the advanced features. With the new Nike Zoom Kobe VI, Kobe’s shoes are more Mamba-like than ever, with the upper’s texture and outsole’s traction pattern both resembling reptile scales. The first colorway is this black, grey and Del Sol pair pictured above, a model set to drop at Foot Locker and other select retailers on Sunday, December 26th. The Nike Dunk High shares an outsole traction pattern with the Air Jordan 1, and here’s a new colorway of the former that echoes the ‘Banned’ edition of the latter. These new hightop Dunks offer a fresh take on a familiar look, with black leather laid atop red and just a hint of white to finish off the high contrast look. The best part of this particular pair might very well be that their classic look belies the rarity they represent. You’ll be the only person on your block with these if you grab a pair today from Britain’s JD Sports.

Nike’s Rejuven8 line has expanded to fill a nice little niche in the space overlapping running and lifestyle needs, but it was the Nike Zvezdochka that pioneered the cage-over-mesh sock design. Seen rarely in its six years of existence, the Zvezdochka is primed to see two new Mark Newson-designed colorways at the Nike Sportswear flagship store at 21 Mercer Street in NYC. These new pairs lay Agean Blue or Mahogany atop neutral grey socks for a look that’s all at once befitting the spacey look implied by their name, and in step with current fashion leanings. Check out more images of both pairs by clicking the jump below.

Around a year ago, LeBron James was touring the world with his documentary and a City Pack series of locally inspired colorways of the Nike Air Max LeBron VII. While a similarly sprawling collection of collabos with artists from around the world is unlikely, there’s definitely another China Edition LeBron sneaker on the way from Nike Basketball. The Air Max LeBron VIII ‘China’ takes the same simple two-toned approach as last year’s model, but instead of gold trim on the white base, this year’s model goes for red. A Chinese stone lion replaces the traditional LeBron lion on the tongue to finish the look, and with a release date set for October 1st at Chinese retailers, you can see more shots by clicking the jump below. via LRJ23

The shoes in the Quai 54 spotlight this year was the Air Jordan IX and the Jordan Team ISO, but samples of the Air Jordan 2010 were seen floating around – could a release follow? Unfortunately the colorway never became available – the dreaded Friends and Family exclusivity – but one pair just became available. Here’s a look at size 13 promo sample pair of the Air Jordan 2010 Quai 54, featuring a white upper, black midsole and window ring and a yellow inner liner and bottom sole. ‘Quai 54′ is printed on the lace placket, taking the customary spot of the ‘Jordan’. Included with the shoes is a pair of black/yellow elephant socks – if you remember the Chicago-only Air Jordan 2010 25th Anniversary came with its own unique Jordan socks as well. Take a look at the detailed gallery after the jump and if you need these in your collection or want to check out the listed price, check out this auction from sneakpeakcloset on eBay.
