Releasing later this month at Nike Sportswear retailers is this new colorway of the Nike Dunk High; although the suede coloring looks to be a tan/brown color, the actual ‘Gold Dart‘ color is closer to a yellow color. Paired with the Black under-layer, Gold Dart appears to be darker, but the still manages to create the right mix of tones. A white bottom sole finishes off this Autumn-ready colorway, so check out the extra shots after the jump and watch for these to drop soon.

Sometimes it’s hard to believe that Michael Jordan is human; as a professional athlete, he’s accomplished more than any other. Six championships, Olympic Gold, his own footwear brand worth millions, countless lucrative endorsements, and co-owning an NBA franchise are just some of the listed items on MJ’s resume. This new Jordan t-shirt, available at Nike Harajuku, states: “The Jumpman doesn’t live on Earth. Michael Jordan just shows up on Earth for practice and gameday.” There could be some truth to that statement, right? Two colorways of the t-shirt – black and white – are available at Nike Harajuku so check your local Jordan Brand Apparel accounts for this t-shirt soon.

adidas recent Basketball Footwear line has been impressive to say the least but here’s an unreleased sample that is downright hypnotic; originally slated to be a Fall/Winter 2010 release, this scrapped sample takes notes from the classic T.V. show ‘The Twilight Zone’ and features a reflective glow-in-the-dark UV sensitive in the upper and features the spiraling graphic on the upper as well as the bottom sole, viewable through the translucent outsole. Unfortunately you won’t see these on the NBA hardwood since this Twilight Zone Speedcut sample was not produced – perhaps too much resemblance to the Reebok Shaqnosis – but it sure is interesting for adidas to go forward with such an interesting concept on a basketball shoe. Take a look at the extra shots of this sample after the jump and let us know what you think of the idea. via fatlace.

If the heel of Kevin Durant’s third Nike Basketball signature sneaker looks something like a PlayStation controller, that might be because the Durantula is approaching Tecmo Bo status of late. Having absolutely torched the international basketball community at this summer’s FIBA World Championships, Durant looks to defend his NBA scoring title in the new Nike Zoom KD III. The pair pictured above will be suitable for games away from OKC’s Ford Center, with KD poised to lead his Thunder deeper into the playoffs, and possibly toward a rematch against Kobe and the Lakers. Durant’s a certified superstar and his 2010-11 will be a season to remember, so stick with Sneaker News for all the KDIII release dates along the way. via Eastbay

Not long ago Sneaker News gave you a heads up on a SB Dunk Mulder-inspired pair of the SB Bruin, headed for a Summer 2011 arrival. Here’s another look at the ‘reverse’ colorway of University Blue and Neutral Grey, a colorway we previewed in late August. The upper of this SB Zoom Bruin features university blue suede with neutral grey on the swoosh, tongue label, and heel. Classic white laces, inner lining, and vulcanized midsole complete the simplistic look. This colorway has begun to drop at SB accounts this month but you can grab a pair now from ID4shoes on eBay.

In early July, Sneaker News scooped you on the upcoming retro release of the ‘White Cement’ Air Jordan III. Scheduled to drop in the first quarter of 2011, these AJIIIs will return as one of the most popular Jays of all time, a shoe that’s been released twice before to sell-out audiences. Those of you who own either the 1994 or 2003 Threes will notice that the signature Elephant print offers considerably thicker lines than those earlier pairs, an aesthetic common to recent Jordan Brand releases. And aside from the missing ‘NIKE AIR’ that was rumored to return, these babies are true to the 1988 originals, so check out more shots after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for updates on these and all Air Jordan Release Dates. via MN

Back in the 80′s when basketball sneakers didn’t have Flywire, Torsion, or Hexalite, NBA players wore shoes like the adidas Metro Attitude. Comparably bulky and awkward compared to today’s super-sleek basketball shoe designs, these now vintage-styled kicks have become the fashion norm for casual street-wear, so while the essence of the shoe is no longer relevant, it isn’t necessarily outdated – it’s actually one of the silhouettes used in the Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals line. Here’s a look at a new colorway of the adidas Originals Attitude Huge in a white, orange, yellow, and royal blue colorway with a ‘Metro Attitude’ badge on the tongue. These just arrived at UK’s Size? so head there to pick up a pair and take a peek at the gallery of images after the jump.

While not an ‘Original‘ model, the adidas Relace Mid is certainly original in that the upper is outlined with three functional lace eyelets, dotted alongside the border of the over-sized Tre-foil logo on the upper. This allows you to lace up your shoes any way you want; you have the conventional in-step lacing, but for those looking for some flavor, you can lace ‘em up using any of the eyelets on the upper. This pair features a bright blue suede upper on a white midsole and red laces – but the shoes itself come with three sets. Check out more views of the adidas Relace Mid after the jump and let us know what you think of the multi-lacing idea. via suelasdegoma.

If you’ve got small feet or a daughter with a budding sneaker collection, chances are you copped the Infrared Air Max 90 as it was released in GS sizes. Here’s another sweet pair of Air Max 90s for the girls; we first caught a glimpse of this colorway during a Nike Sportwear Fall 2010 update and even among the big boys, the girls pair garnered some considerable attention. Featuring a black upper with patent leather accents, a white midsole, silver Air compartment, and voltage cherry on the inner lining and Air Unit, these Air Max 90s should be a hot topic for grade school girls this semester. These have been spotted at Nike accounts already but you can get a pair now on eBay.

Sneaker News recently interviewed Orlando Center Dwight Howard and we got a chance to learn about his relationship with adidas and why their partnership has been so successful. Howard cited adidas’ emphasis on character, and we all know Dwight’s full of that of sure; his Superman persona, his religious background, charitable deeds – basically Dwight’s an all-around good guy. Here’s a look at a new colorway of the adidas Top Ten Hi NBA in Orlando Magic colorways. Perhaps Dwight could wear a pair of these during Hardwood Classics nights – adidas just needs to make a size 18 pair for him! The uppers are fashioned with a sweet mix of suede (toe, lace placket, ankle collar), leather (upper), and a reptile-textured material on the heel wrap-around panel. Take a peek at these adidas Originals after the jump and pick up a fresh pair now at CaliRoots.

Aside from cushioning, the determinant of a great running shoe is breathability; keeping the feet cool does more than prevent less perspiration, it keeps the overall body temperature at a moderate level and prevents overheating, which allows for longer runs. Here’s a look at the adidas Multifach Climacool running shoe, which features a removable mesh bootie. The shell itself features adidas Climacool construction, with multiple Climacool vents on the upper and bottom sole. The removable booties have specific sides and come in four different colors that match the exoskeleton. The adidas Multifach Climacool could be the most breathable shoe ever created by the brand and could be a hit for those who prioritize feet ventilation when selection running shoes. Check out the detailed gallery of this ‘cool’ shoe after the jump and let us know what you think of the concept. via Kenlu.

Sandwiched between Ray Allen’s days as a Buck and a Celtic was his stint a Seattle Sonics shooting guard; in his first full season as a Northwesterner, Ray Allen shot lights out and led the Sonics to a 52 win season and saw an increase in scoring output in the two seasons after that. As a Jordan Brand Team member, Ray Allen got some great Player Exclusives during that time, like the Air Jordan V and Air Jordan XIX SE in forest green and yellow. With ’34′ stamped on the upper heel of the shoe and patent leather green on the toe, Ray Allen wore Air Jordan XIX SE PE during the aforementioned 52-win campaign, which at the time matched his best Team W-L record in his career – until he won a championship with Boston. Air Jordan Player Exclusives are tough to get a hold of so test your auction luck by bidding on this size 14 pair from qkro23 on eBay.
