Celebrity Feet: Amber Rose Air Jordan Force Fusion VIII Playoffs

Kanye West’s former partner Amber Rose was spotted sitting at the front row of the House of Holland Spring/Summer 2011 Fashion Show during London’s Fashion Week over the weekend. Once an exotic dance, the now Ford model has been a notable name in fashion circles, but this recent choice of apparel should be especially pleasing to Sneaker News readers. Amber gave up her regular high heels for a pair of the Air Jordan Force Fusion VIII Playoff that released earlier this year. Rose matched her Jordan’s with a pair of Red House of Holland Linda Farrow sunglasses and a House of Holland bandanna jumpsuit. What do you think of Rose’s outfit and kicks? Definitely a notable Sneaker Moment for Amber Rose or a fashion faux-pas, even at sneaker-head standards? Let us know after the jump.

Air Jordan XI (11) Potential 2011 Retro Releases

Sneaker News already gave you an in-depth breakdown of the 2011 Jordan Brand releases, but it looks like the heat-wave is going to be a lot hotter than we anticipated. Another rumored release making some noise is the Air Jordan XI ‘Concord’ and Air Jordan XI ‘Columbia’, with a possibility of both releasing together as a package. Both the Concords and Columbias have not seen the light of day since 2000 and 2001 respectively, although we did get a Concord-like release with the Air Jordan XI DMP of 2006 and the Air Jordan XI 25th Anniversary from earlier this year.

According to the same source, it looks like we may see the release of the Air Jordan VI Olympic (2000 version), as well as an Air Jordan V Premio from the BIN23 Collection and a brand new Jordan box, while the possible Jordan V Grape/Laney Package mentioned earlier by Sneaker News is looking to be more of a reality. All of the mentioned information is subject to change, so stay tuned to Sneaker News for more developments regarding all Jordan Brand news, and let us know what you think of a possible Air Jordan XI Concord/Columbia Package release. via thebeast23 on NT.

Nike Trainer 1.2 Mid Kobe + LeBron

The Nike Trainer 1.2 Mid has been PE central, as we’ve received a ton of player-specific colorways over the last few months. The Legends Pack paid tribute to five baseball greats while the EA Sports collaborations featured two NFL quarterbacks who have both succeeded at the highest levels in their respective careers thus far. Now that NBA season is around the corner, here’s a look at the Nike Trainer 1.2 Mid in two new colorways – one presumably taken after Kobe Bryant aka the Black Mamba while the second takes after LeBron James, albeit in the colors of his former team. Kobe’s pair features the quintessential Lakers colorway with snake-skin on the outrigger and forefoot strap, while LeBron’s (that affiliation could be loose) features white, navy, red, and gold, which could mean the colorway is actually an Olympic colorway. Take a look at both colorways after the jump as these will hit Nike retailers like Eastbay soon.

Nike Air Max LeBron VIII (8) Black White Sport Red | New Images

Earlier today Sneaker News gave you a first look at the Nike Air LeBron VIII China Edition that featured a special tongue-tag of a dragon’s face taken from traditional Chinese culture. Let’s turn our attention back to the Lion as we get yet another look at the Black/White-Sport Red colorway of the Nike Air Max LeBron VIII, set to release sometime in October. Like every other installment in the Nike LeBron line, the first U.S. released colorway has been the black/red/white variety and with many other colorways and School PEs surely on the way, can we expect other special tongue-tags? Perhaps a special one for Zippy the Kangaroo for Akron? Take another look at the new images of this upcoming LeBron VIII and stick with Sneaker News for all LeBron info. via ULT.

adidas TS Heat Check Halloween

What are you going to dress up for Halloween? We have an idea about what Dwight Howard will wear. The Orlando Magic center and adidas representative might dress up as Superman as he’s done so in the past, but on game-day, he’ll wear his regular blue, black, and white Orlando uniforms. Perhaps he – and fellow adidas guys like Derrick Rose, Wesley Johnson, and Derrick Favors – will wear the adidas TS Heat Check Halloween edition, which features a black, orange, and green upper with a Jack-o-lantern graphic on the heel and ‘Boo!’ printed on the badge on the outer heel of the shoe. The upper is black while the midsole is bright orange, and the mesh portion of the upper features an orange-white-black gradient, with green on the lacelock as well as on the traction pods on the bottom sole. A detailed gallery awaits so take an extra look and pre-order yours now on EastBay.

Football season is in full swing so whether you’re on an organized team or like to get in the two-a-day grind, the Zoom Huarache TR Mid should be a great go-to choice for your feet. Secret Base x atmos x New Balance 996 | November 2010

The latest triple-tag-team effort between New Balance and Japanese sneaker specialists atmos is this design courtesy of the Secret Base toy shop.  For their New Balance 996 runner, Secret Base used a tiger drawn by Texas-based tattoo artist Christ Trevino as the inspiration.  As is the case with several NB collabs of late, the tiger in full makes the insoles perhaps the most impressive part of the design, leaving the upper to more subtly incorporate this theme with the use of tonal black stripes on the toebox and heel counter.  Select gold accents finish these off nicely, so check out more shots after the jump and get to work on your overseas connects cos these are a Japan-exclusive.  via Shoes-Up

Air Jordan 2010 Team Black Varsity Red Graphite

Upon hearing the Air Jordan 2010 Team was on the way, you didn’t have to ask if certain teams would be represented.  Michael Jordan’s Laney High School has a pair and UNC-colored joints are likely to follow, but the newest pair could have just as easily been the AJ2010 flagship with its Chicago-style colorup.  These Bred AJ2010 Teams find hints of grey/white on the mid/outsole, which balances the look quite nicely.  Check out more shots of the black and red Air Jordan 2010 Team after the jump and grab a pair today from select Jordan Brand retailers like Eastbay.

Nike Air Force 1 Triple Black Pack for DJ Clark Kent

DJ Clark Kent‘s name has become regular verbage in sneakerhead circles as he’s collaborated with Nike numerous times to create some great releases in the past. Somewhat of a ‘Thank You’ to the Brooklyn-native, Nike created a special set of three Nike Air Force 1 Lows dubbed the Triple Black Pack, with each pair owning its own design concept and inspiration. Patent leather, suede, and full-grain leather are the three bases used for each pair; the patent leather is meant to be for flashier occasions, with white dye used in the laser etching for an urban-styled touch. The leather pair is inspired by a classic black leather jacket, while the suede pair is destined to be the ‘out the door’ pair for everyday use – which draws inspiration from a chukka or a Wallabee shoe. All three pairs are house in a custom laser-etched wooden box, with graphics of the Air Force 1 as well as DJCK’s trademark headphones, and each pair is represented by a circular portrait of the graphics of each shoe. These will not be released to the public so take a look at the this special set of Air Force 1s after the jump and let us know which design you like best. via TSG.
