“Black Friday”, aka the day after Thanksgiving, is considered to be a bargain-hunters dream, with TVs, electronics, clothing, even cars going for sale with severe markdowns. You know what WON’T be on sale for a penny less than retail? The Air Jordan XIII ‘Flint’. The official retail release date has been set for November 26th, 2010, the day after Turkey Day, and while many people line up overnight for flat-screen TVs for more than half off, you’ll need to pay full price for this upcoming Jordan Retro – unless you’ve got some sweet hook-ups. You can expect to find these at Jordan Brand retailers like Foot Locker so check out the new gallery of images after the jump and let us know if you’d be extra thankful to have these in your hands.

The Jordan V.2 Grown was introduced over the summer as a grown-up’s Jordan, so what can get more ‘grown-up’ than black leather? Here’s a detailed look at an upcoming colorway of the Jordan V.2 Grown; featuring a tonal black leather upper with perforated leather on the toe/tongue and red laces and bottom sole, this colorway surely emanates the grown look to a tee. With the elastic side-panel gusset and the chukka construction, you could mistake these for a leather city-trekker boot you’d find at men’s specialty shop but you’ll be pleased to know that these will be at Jordan Brand retailers this October. Finally, a pair of Jordans you can rock with a suit. via Dunk.

“Don’t just take your game to the next level. Take flight.”
The first ever Air Jordan shoe with full-length 360 Air with launch this October, as the Air Jordan Take Flight will make its debut on shelves of Jordan Brand retailers and basketball courts nationwide. There’s a lot more to the Take Flight than the 360-Air; the lockdown fit of the Take Flight and the added traction on the outrigger allow for optimal fit and feel, but aside from a technical POV, the Air Jordan Take Flight is a beauty of a shoe. With flowing lines on the upper and elephant print on the patent leather mudguard, the Take Flight has the makings for a successful shoe based on the classic inspiration of the upper design. Is this the first of many 360-Air laden Jordans? Take a look at the video after the jump for more details and expect the Air Jordan Take Flight to be available in a number of great colorways starting this October.

The last Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke @ Nike Harajuku that we showed you featured a mix of crazy colors with elephant print covering the entire upper of the shoe. Although it seemed like too much at once, it did seem somewhat ‘controlled’. Here’s a look at the ninth Bespoke to come out of Nike Harajuku, and clearly the word ‘control’ had nothing to do with this one. The designer behind this shoe went all out on the materials, splurging on every possible design option available – matte black croc skin on the center panel and toe box, a translucent material on the swoosh with different colors on the medial and laterla side, a tiger-striped swoosh underlayer, baseball-stitching on the heel panel, black/blue elephant print on the tongue with a distressed metallic gold logo-less tongue label, and an interested black/white textured applique on the toe. The whole hodgepodge of designs sits on top of a translucent sole that was seen on a number of Air Force 1 Supreme releases a few years back. Check out the the extra shots after the jump and let us know what you think of the design.

The Air Max 90 Laser Blue is expected to drop later this year so for those who aren’t familiar with this original colorway, here’s yet another set of detailed images. Like in the previous overview brought to you exclusively from Sneaker News, you can see that this Retro release is true to the original – a huge sigh of relief considering the most recent JDSports release of the Laser Blue AM90 featured a darkened Air Unit. Although the inner lining of the tongue is white instead of the original blue, the complaint department for this release should be relatively quiet, and should be a popular option once they drop. Take another look at the Laser Blue Air Max 90 after the jump and let us know if these are a must-have for you. via Dunk.

We’ve already seen the adidas Metro Attitude transform into a Jeremy Scott design, featuring an oversized tongue on the classic silhouette. The Attitude is borrowed once more but this time, it dips into the skate realm as it is given a slight remodeling of the upper using suede tonal colorways and a complete alteration of the lower-body as it now sits on a vulcanized sole. The adidas Attitude Vulc Skate is pretty much a basketball shoe made into a skate shoe (ahem Nike Dunk) but the overall construction on the Attitude Vulc looks very promising. Take a look at the two new colorways that both just released at Schuh-You, or get yours now on eBay.

Yesterday Sneaker News showed you a white/varsity red/black colorway of the upcoming Jordan Ol’ School IV – a shoe that takes some design hints from the Air Jordan VI and VII. This black colorway takes a cue from the Air Jordan III, as it uses elephant print all around the upper portions of the shoe. On the bottom layer is a breathable mesh (a stark contrast to the perforated leather used in the white/varsity red pair), and the midsole is a tonal black with a metallic silver Air unit. This October 2010 release just dropped at Finishline so head there to get yours.

Makes sense that a furry-lined high-top would be the Chewbacca joints, right? Take a look at the adidas Originals Jogging Hi outfitted Chewbacca style with a brown suede upper and fur on the inner lining. These look more adaptable to mountainous terrains or snowy tundras rather than the running trail at your local park but for the winter, these should keep your feet nice and toasty. The silver D-ring lace hoops and black laces mimic Chewbacca’s sash and the light-brown ankle finishes off the look. Check out the detailed shots of the Star Wars x adidas Originals Jogging Hi provided by Kenlu and pick up a pair now on eBay.

Heat for the entire family! Here’s a first detailed look at the Air Jordan II Retro in Black/White, an upcoming colorway previewed alongside the Banned Air Jordan 1. First off – this colorway will be available for toddlers, pre-schoolers, grade-schoolers, and men, so there should be no shortage of this Jordan II colorway. Secondly, a look at the upper construction reveals nubuck as well as a glossy side-panelĀ with white piping on the upper. The lace eyelets are a contrasting white, as is the Air Jordan logo on the tongue and the bottom sole of the shoe. The rear heel also features Jordan branding similar to the University Blue Air Jordan II – no NIKE this time around. You might be eagerly awaiting the Air Jordan II Candy Pack but the Black/White ‘Oreo’ Jordan II is one alternative that won’t do you much harm. Take a look at some more shots after the jump, and look out for these hitting Jordan retailers in October. In the meantime, stay tuned to Sneaker News for updates on all the latest Air Jordan Retro release info.

With big name free agents like LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and Amar’e Stoudemire floating out there this summer, there wasn’t a whole lot of talk about where Carlos Boozer would land, but with the ability to put up 20/10 every night, Boozer may turn out to be one of the best signings of the NBA off-season. The Chicago Bulls were more than thrilled to welcome C-Booz into town and last Friday night, he was out enjoying his new city while acting as honorary commissioner for the Gatorade Replay game between Bloom and Brother Rice high schools. Sneaker News had a chance to catch up with Carlos for a few minutes to ask him some questions about sneakers, as well as his new team and city. Keep reading for our full 1 on 1 interview with Carlos Boozer after the jump.

Sneaker customizer Diversitile goes beyond the simple acetone rub-down and Angelus paint and utilizes other tools of visual stimuli, and if you remember his Nike Dunk High Ironman and War Machine customs, you probably understand what we’re getting at. Here’s a look at the Dunk High ‘Desist’ that completes Diversitile’s ‘Ceast and Desist’ custom Dunk High concept; based off the War Machine Dunk High design, the ‘Desist’ features various colors taken from a black-to-white color scheme – reminiscent of the Eric Haze x Nike Dunk High. But like his previous customs, its the LED light surgically implanted into tongue that gives these customs the ‘wow’ factor. Take another look at the Nike Dunk High ‘Desist’ Custom by Diversitile and let us know which of his projects you like the most.

The Nike Zoom BB Low was a guard-friendly basketball sneaker favored by the likes of Steve Nash and Tony Parker – but here’s a look at the upcoming teched-out version of that shoe. Featuring the same low-cut construction and the familiar wavy mudguard, the Air Max 360 BB Low features a full-length 360-Air basketball specific cushioning unit, Flywire panels on the upper, and the super-lightweight Fuse material at the toe as well as an added heel-cup for additional stability. A quick glance and you might guess these would be a low-cut version of the Air Max LeBron VIII (8) that has yet to release – that was a popular guess when we first spotted this shoe at the end of July – considering many of the structural components are the same. These three colorways of white/metallic siilver, black/grey, and a red/light-orange are just some of the expected releases – tentatively an April 2011 release – so stick with Sneaker News for all Nike Basketball updates. More images of this upcoming silhouette await you after the jump. via hoopchina.
