Aside from cushioning, the determinant of a great running shoe is breathability; keeping the feet cool does more than prevent less perspiration, it keeps the overall body temperature at a moderate level and prevents overheating, which allows for longer runs. Here’s a look at the adidas Multifach Climacool running shoe, which features a removable mesh bootie. The shell itself features adidas Climacool construction, with multiple Climacool vents on the upper and bottom sole. The removable booties have specific sides and come in four different colors that match the exoskeleton. The adidas Multifach Climacool could be the most breathable shoe ever created by the brand and could be a hit for those who prioritize feet ventilation when selection running shoes. Check out the detailed gallery of this ‘cool’ shoe after the jump and let us know what you think of the concept. via Kenlu.

Sandwiched between Ray Allen’s days as a Buck and a Celtic was his stint a Seattle Sonics shooting guard; in his first full season as a Northwesterner, Ray Allen shot lights out and led the Sonics to a 52 win season and saw an increase in scoring output in the two seasons after that. As a Jordan Brand Team member, Ray Allen got some great Player Exclusives during that time, like the Air Jordan V and Air Jordan XIX SE in forest green and yellow. With ’34′ stamped on the upper heel of the shoe and patent leather green on the toe, Ray Allen wore Air Jordan XIX SE PE during the aforementioned 52-win campaign, which at the time matched his best Team W-L record in his career – until he won a championship with Boston. Air Jordan Player Exclusives are tough to get a hold of so test your auction luck by bidding on this size 14 pair from qkro23 on eBay.

Part of the Jordan Brand Holiday 2010 Collection is the Air Jordan Force Fusion X, with two colorways set for arrival. One of the two colorways (and the first colorway previewed by Sneaker News) is the Steel Grey colorway, inspired by the original colorway of the Air Jordan X. The Air Jordan Force Fusion X Steel Grey is expected to release in sizes for the entire family; mens, grade school, pre-school, and toddler sizes will be available once these release. The upper toe features a seamless construction while the rear portion and mudguard, which adopts more of the Air Jordan X styling, has a visible stitch construction. Check out these new images after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for more release info on all Air Jordan releases.

Is the Kobe V Aston Martin too rich for your blood? Why not go for the less expensive alternative? Sneaker News first showed you images of the Nike Zoom Kobe V ‘Wolf Grey’ in late June and recently brought you an exclusive second look at the upcoming Kobe V colorway. Like the Kobe V Aston Martin, the ‘Wolf Grey’ colorway features a mix of grey, black, and red, a close enough colorway to the limited edition release of mid-May. Would Kobe even wear these during a game? Outlook isn’t good since the colorway has no match to the Lakers purple and gold. These are set to be an October 2010 release but you can get your hands on these a bit early by buying a pair from 95soleman on eBay.

Sneaker News gave you a preview of this new semi-hybrid shoe of sorts back in late August. The Nike Possession Justified features a classic high-cut basketball shoe silhouette but draws comparison to the Air Tech Challenge series based on the design of the upper. However these are neither a basketball nor a tennis shoe, but a new casual option for those who prefer the simple appeal of vulcanized soles. This new colorway of Black, Dark Shadow and Cool Grey features a pinstriped lining with a heel that extends upwards, exposing the material. This new Possession Justified colorway just released at online retailer Zappos so continue reading for another look.

The adidas Fortitude is easily one of the three stripes’ best new designs in a long while, but the adidas Roundhouse just might kick that shoe off the podium and take that spot. Here’s a look at the adidas Roundhouse, which features a similar trail-inspired but modern high-tech design as the Fortitude; the Roundhouse features a higher ankle cut with a gaudier collar, a carbon-fiber mid-foot strap, and a large tre-foil logo on the tongue. adidas is really turning the heat up with its new designs so check out these two new colorways of the Roundhouse after the jump and look for these at adidas retailers because both just dropped at Schuh-You.

You might’ve had your fill with All Court Low colorways in 2010 but there’s always room for one more; check out this new black/white colorway featuring a cream-colored ‘vintage‘ midsole and toe cap, black eyelets, and black inner lining. These are quite similar to a recent leather-upper release of the All Court Low but featured white eyelets and a white terry-cloth like inner lining. This new colorway is expected to release in October at Nike Sportswear retailers so take another look after the jump and reserve a pair with Crooked Tongues now.

adidas recently dropped an updated version of their classic basketball shoe, the adidas Attitude Hi. The upper design features trademark adidas design but with a few twists, like the mesh window on the ankle and the classic netting on the upper portion of the midsole. Three new team-based colorways are available; a black/blue/white, white/black/red, and quintessential Knicks colorway are among the first drops, so take a look at all three colorways after the jump and pick up a pair now at Titan in the Philippines.

If it’s going to be given the Vintage treatment, might as well slap it on one of its oldest shoes. The Nike Blazer is THE original Nike Basketball shoe, born in 1972 and still going strong 38 years later. The suede joints actually released a year later but the silhouette with the fattened swoosh is considered to be the OG of OGs. Here’s another look at two Nike Blazer Quickstrike releases given the Vintage application; the Gold Dart and Blue Grey colorway feature white swooshes and midsoles with aged colorization on the midsole and a sheer white layer on the tongue. Both have begun to release at select accounts so take a look at the detailed shots after the jump. via suede&mesh.
