In mid-August Sneaker News gave you a look at an upcoming Air Griffey Max 1 in White, Black, Sport Red, and Metallic Silver – the same colorway Ken Griffey Jr. wore during the 2007 MLB All-Star Game. Courtesy of Chicago’s Succezz, here’s a look at a sample pair of the Air Griffey Max 1 ‘Cincinnati Reds’ that is currently set for a Spring 2011 release; the upper features a mix of sport red and white, with a black swoosh and strap, with black ‘eye-liner’ above the metallic silver Air Units on the midsole. Curious choice of number, as Griffey wore ’30′ during his Reds days, but the ’24′ stays for good on this pair. Take another look after the jump and let us know what you think of this colorway, and stick with Sneaker News for more Nike Griffey release info. via Modernnotoriety.

This new Fall 2010 colorway of the Nike Hyperfuse features the diamond pattern on the heel, spurning the paint-splatter and tonal colors from the earlier releases for this eye-catching design. We also saw a white and varsity royal colorway with identical color-blocking and use of the graphic in the Nike Hyperfuse Holiday 2010 Preview which also included a white/black colorway – one that Sneaker News previewed some time ago. Perhaps more colorways are on the way? This new release just hit Finishline so check out the detailed shots after the jump and let us know what you think of the design.

Jeremy Scott’s adidas Originals ObyO collection is getting a ton of attention these days, but you could argue that J.Scott would either be markedly different or altogether nonexistent without this latest Three Stripes collaborator. It’s plain to the eye that Scott’s designs are heavily influenced by late ’80s/early ’90s hip-hop, and one of the most influential forces therein was Russell Simmons’ Def Jam Records. Def Jam has done numerous tagteams with Three Stripes and the latest, this Def Jam x adidas Metro Attitude is one of the curiouser releases. There’s no affiliation to any particular rapper here, and while the black/white/green/yellow colorway is more befitting a ’90s Green Bay Packers alternate jersey than, say, New Jersey’s Redman, the unmistakable Def Jam logo makes sense with this high-contrast palette. Check out more photos after the jump and grab yours from Schuh-You.

ALIFE has set their Everybody High model apart from the Nike Dunk from which its silhouette is derived, using a range of wacky color and material options, with many featuring text as a key design element. There are no words printed or sewn onto the latest pairs, and with the ALIFE Everybody High Toxic Parachute pack, the boys on Rivingon St. have one of their best efforts yet. These three Everbodys are done in monochromatic ripstop nylon on the upper and add a contrasting shade to the sockliner and translucent soles. Pairs in grey/blue and black/red hold their own, with the olive/orange joints perhaps the perfect manifestation of this theme. Check out more shots of all three after the jump and look for these at select ALIFE stockists soon. via CT

Towards the end of the ’09-’10 NBA Season, we started seeing a bunch more Nike KD II colorways to commemorate a number of his personal achievements; we saw the China Supreme colorway, which marked his special visit to China, as well as the Scoring Title colorway that quickly left House of Hoops shelves. Here’s a look at a Nike KD II colorway that was never released – one a black, team orange, and gold. Similar to the released versions, this unreleased sample features patent leather on the in-step strap as well as the mudguard with a textured synthetic leather upper. The midsole also features light orange speckling, and the heels feature KD’s ’35′ jersey number on top of the rubberized heel cup. Take another look after the jump and snag this size 9 unreleased sample from lacedheat on eBay.

The Jordan Prime 5 is one upcoming shoe to look out for, and we can expect a release of four colorways in Spring 2011. One of the release colorways is Varsity Red and Metallic Silver, seen here in this sample size 9 pair. The upper features a tonal varsity red with metallic silver on the 3M-reflective tongue. Combining the Air Jordan Alpha 1 and the Air Jordan V, the Jordan Prime 5 features the silhouette of the Alpha 1 but with many characteristics of the latter, like the textured center panel set to mimic the netting on the Air Jordan V as well as the lace-eyelets and uppermost portion of the lace placket. Again the, Prime 5 won’t arrive until Spring 2011 so take a look at the varsity red colorway and pick up this size 9 sample from orthje on eBay.

The Air Jordan IV Laser release of 2005 were certainly one of the more memorable Jordan Brand products of this decade – so how will the Air Jordan Force Fusion form fare? Here’s another look at the Air Jordan Force Fusion IV White Laser that is currently set for a release in October. There isn’t much different from the Jordan Retro form and the AJF form but for those who have yet to add Laser IVs to their collection, the Fusion release wouldn’t be a bad replacement. As expected, this released stirred up some debate but regardless of what may of been said, these are certainly one of the best Fusions to date. Take a look at the detailed images after the jump and grab a pair early from chrome-knights on eBay.

While sneakerheads have been abuzz of late over the recently announced Air Jordan XIII ‘Altitude’ Quickstrike this December, we can’t forget about one of the colorways without which, the Altitudes would have never existed. The ‘True Red’ Air Jordan XIII was Michael Jordan’s home shoe during the 1997-98 regular season. MJ’s Chicago Bulls went on to complete their second three-peat to end that year and we haven’t seen the True Red Thirteens since. But that all changes with the December 2010 retro release, and what’s more, you can actually get a pair nearly three months ahead of time! Click the jump below for more shots to refresh your memory on this nearly 13 year old classic and grab a pair early from Kicks-Crew or get yours now on eBay.

The all-white Air Force 1 will go down in the history books as one of the greatest sneakers of all-time. Even in 2010, white-on-white Forces still swim around the top of the nationwide sales charts. The tonal-white construction makes for easy customization, like this white-on-white WMNS Air Force 1 with a bright cherry-red tongue label and heel-tab with a rainbow-speckled botto sole. Such a simple touch of color further accentuates the Air Force 1 and this certainly feminine pair should be a popular choice for the ladies. These just dropped at Nikestore so head there to cop!
