Harlem-natives Vado and Jae Millz of The Diplomats and Young Money/Cash Money, respectively, were spotted on the set of their new video “Respect the Jux” this past week. Both have been notable names in the mix-tape and freestyle-battle scene for a quite a while, and some might even remember Jae Millz freestyle rap-battle against E. Packer Shoes x Fila FX 100

If you picked up the latest issue of SneakerFreaker, you may have noticed the teaser pic for the latest Packer Shoes collaboration. Not many retailers can boast the claim that they’ve been in the footwear game for over 100 years, but for Packer Shoes, it’s a jaw-dropping reality. With 100+ years of history under their belt, Packer is now teaming up with another storied sneaker institution that is about to hit the century milestone themselves. Italian brand, Fila, will celebrate their 100th birthday next year, so it made perfect sense for the two to join forces for a project. And what better shoe to choose than the Fila FX-100? Four colorways will be re-released in their original form, each one limited to 100 individually numbered pairs and featuring Packer co-branding. If a look at these brings you back to a better time, stay tuned for more pics and release info coming soon.

Air Jordan VII (7) Premio Bin 23 Collection | Look See Sample

Remember that Sneaker News Exclusive Air Jordan VII that featured no branding whatsoever? It resurfaces once more, but with a few changes. Here’s a first look at the Air Jordan VII Premio of the Jordan Brand Bin 23 Collection. This time the logos return to their customary positions on the tongue and ankle collar, and on the heel you will see an interesting tribal-esque graphic with the Bin 23 stamp on the heels. Paired with the colorway of White, Del Sol, Black, Varsity Green, and Challenge Red, the Air Jordan VII Premio features an African theme of sorts – quite a contrast from the ‘high-end’ look achieved by the earlier Jordan Brand Bin 23 releases. This particular pair is designated as a Holiday 2010 sample so a release in the next month or so could be possible, although changes could be made in terms of release date and design – we’ve already seen a scrapped Bin 23 Sample before. Again, this is a ‘Look-See Sample’ so this is probably not the final design. Take a look at the detailed images of the Air Jordan VII Premio after the jump and snag this size 9 sample from d_is_rolling on eBay.

Nike Air Go LWP Black Varsity Royal White | December 2010

Whichever ‘Hardaway’ you attribute these to (Tim or Anfernee), the Air Go LWP (or titled Air G.O. back in the day) is still a classic Nike Basketball issue beloved by ballers and fans of either point guard. In October, a Wolf Grey colorway of the Lightweight Performance Basketball shoe will drop, but many have their nostalgic set on this colorway – the Black/Varsity Royal/White Orlando make-up – but there are still plenty of OG colorways that should wow the crowd (the white/black with red and purple swooshes, for example). Dropping in December with a $120 price-tag will be the Orlando colorwayof the Air Go LWP, so take a look at these new images of Penny’s go-to pair during his rookie campaign and stick with Sneaker News for more release info.

Kazuki x adidas Originals by Originals KBall Low Ostrich

Having your own adidas shoe design? Now that’s original. Here’s a look at the adidas ObyO KBall Low designed by Kazuki Kuraishi in a black leather and ostrich ski upper; featuring alternating panels of the two materials, the tonal black upper emanates a luxurious tone while maintaining the street-smart design motif. The KBall also features a thicker midsole – almost Air Force 1-like – and in this case, the all-white foundation matches perfectly with the rest of the shoe. This Kazuki x adidas ObyO Kball just dropped at TGWO so take another look after the jump and let us know what you think of the design.

Star Wars x adidas Originals Fall/Winter 2010 Footwear

Taking nothing away from fans of the Saga, especially considering their fanaticism helped pave the way for the sneakerhead culture, but sports and Star Wars aren’t two things you’d expect to see paired.  But that’s changing with the continuing Star Wars x adidas Originals collaboration, which juxtaposes the legendary sci-fi series with varsity athletic aesthetics.  There’s a huge run of kicks on tap for the Fall/Winter 2010 season, everything from a Chewbacca slamdunk adidas Nizza Hi to a Stan Smith 1 done up for Yoda’s ‘tennis school’, and several pairs are done in kids and toddler sizes to boot!  Proof that there’s still plenty of value in combining seemingly disparate influences, the latest Star Wars x adidas Originals will hit retailers soon, and you can see the entire footwear collection by clicking the jump below.

Air Jordan 6 17 23 Black Carmine White | New Photos

The Air Jordan XV was released in early 2000 with a heel that read “23.6.15″.  This set of numbers, of course, signified MJ’s uniform number, NBA titles and seasons, respectively, but the numbering convention used on this latest effort from Jordan Brand goes a different route.  More akin to the Countdown Pack releases that combined Jays to equal 23, the Air Jordan 6-17-23 mashes together design elements from AJs VI and XVII.  The result is a black, white and Carmine sneaker whose style is both as old and as fresh as the jazz music appearing on the tongue.  Check out more shots of the latest Jordan Brand hybrid after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for updates on these and all Air Jordan release dates.  via HoopChina
