Peanuts x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star High

If Charlie Brown were around today, his brown kicks would probably be some kind of ‘lifestyle’ sneaker, but the head Peanut’s iconic tee has held up pretty well over the years.  That signature yellow and black zigzag tee is among the images you’ll see all over the sides of these new Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Highs.  Created in commemoration of the 60th anniversary of Charles Schultz’ classic comic strip, these Chucks feature newspaper-style black and white Peanuts cells on their canvas uppers.  Just in time for the Great Pumpkin, the Peanuts x Converse Chuck Taylor is available for a short time at colette.  via HS

Nike Air PR1 Black Anthracite | Available

Reebok filed suit against Nike a couple years back for patent infringement over the flexible Free sole, and though the suit failed, the Zig Tech line has emerged with its own blend of bendability and smooth cushioning.  Every sneaker brand can be seen using each others ideas and this wasn’t the first time the Swoosh borrowed a concept from the Vector.  The Nike Air Pressure released back in 1989 to compete with RBK’s legendary Pump lineup, and its back in spirit with the new Nike Air PR1.  A tighter, non-pressurized take on the original, these go down route RT1 by combining the slimmed-down ’80s basketball aesthetic with the familiar Air Jordan III midsole tooling from around that same time.  The first pair features an all-black colorway, with hints of primary color on the tongue tag.  Check out more shots after the jump and grab yours today from JBseller on eBay.

Michael Jordan Greatest Moments on NBA 2K11

Every October the two biggest NBA-simulation video games face off in a retail-sales competition, with sales numbers being the deciding factor of the victor. This year, the primary weapon utilized by both 2K Sports and EA Sports is Michael Jordan; EA Sports offers a special Booster Pack of special Air Jordan in-game memorabilia, but NBA 2K11 gives players the opportunity to not only play as Michael Jordan, but to re-live his greatest moments on the court. Using your video-game controller, you can maneuver Michael Jordan to 63 points against the Celtics in the ’86 Playoffs or leave a helpless Bryon Russell in the dust with a mean cross at the top of the key and drill a Championship winning jumper.

If that wasn’t enough, you can play as Michael Jordan on any other team, building his legacy through another franchise. That’s right, Portland fans, you can erase the memories of that Sam Bowie draft pick and pair him with Clyde Drexler. On top of all these great in-game capabilities, Michael Jordan is seen wearing many of the historic Air Jordans throughout the game, and can be seen in other colorways too. There’s a lot to see so check out Michael Jordan in action with some of his most memorable kicks after the jump and let us know what you think.

Even though Pusha T is now signed with Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music it hasn’t stopped him from working with longtime Clipse producer, Pharrell Williams. The two were seen together working on some new music down in Miami as Pusha begins to record new material for his G.O.O.D. Music debut that is schedule to hit later in the year. Pusha’s sneakers of choice while recording happened to be the Nike Air Foamposite Pro’s in Pearl White that were released only a few weeks ago. adidas TS Beast Shades of Grey | November 2010

In Dwight Howard, adidas has perhaps their most marketable NBA superstar yet, and for their latest D12 signature, Three Stripes is borrowing a colorway from the brand they hope Dwight can help defeat.  The adidas TS Beast ‘Shades of Grey’ instantly conjures images in ones mind of the OG Neon Nike Air Max 95.  With tonal grey/silver, black and neon green accents, these are one of the most interesting ManChild releases so far, and this makes us wonder about other non-Magic palettes that might be on the way.  Check out more images after the jump and look for these on Black Friday, November 26th at Eastbay.

Air Jordan 1 Phat Low Black Varsity Red Cement Grey

For sneakers, to give props where they’re due is to add an certain trademark accent or design. A grey/neon green colorway is a clear tribute to the OG colorway of the Air Max 95, while adding a forefoot strap would be considered a salute to the Trainer. For Jordans, its the Elephant Print from the Air Jordan III that is the most recognizable mark – more than patent leather, cement soles, translucent netting, or anything else that isn’t a Jumpman. This new colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Phat Low adopts the classic Black/Varsity Red/Cement Grey colorway but adds the perfect touch of elephant print on the swoosh for a bit of nostalgia. We’ve seen some go overboard with the print but this latest Phat Low shows that less is more. Take another look after the jump and head to Nikestore to snag a pair.
