The upper features a tonal royal blue upper with a yellow italicized N logo with a grey accents, and a bright yellow midsole on tope of the royal blue Roll Bar unit. Arriving on October 20th is the Nike Air 1/2 Cent in the Varsity Purple ‘Eggplant’ colorway. Purple, orange, and green are recurring color themes for the month of October due to the Halloween holiday so perhaps some orange trail laces would spice these up with some festive flavor? The black/purple speckled laces are perfectly fine the way they are. ‘Eggplant’ on the Air 1/2 Cent was first brought to our attention earlier this year but anyone who keeps up with Nike’s trends would know that this pairing was seen a mile way – but the predictable nature of the shoe doesn’t detract from the pure beauty of the shoe. Long before ‘The Decision‘, the media poked fun at LeBron James possibly ‘taking his talents’ to the Cleveland Browns, catch passes and viciously blocking field-goal attempts for the other hometown team. In reality, LeBron James took his talents to Miami (the Heat, not the Dolphins) and that Bron-to-Browns dream was buried, and it’s doubtful he’ll ever join the the NFL – although he’d be one helluva tight end. LeBron James was in fact spotted at the season-opener between the Washington Redskins and the Dallas Cowboys – the latter being LeBron’s favorite NFL team. Of course being LeBron means getting special treatment, like being able to walk the sidelines and snap a few pictures with the Cowboys, and he did all that while wearing a crisp pair of the Air Jordan XI Space Jam. On Saturday, October 2nd, a milestone Air Jordan Retro will release – and its a kids shoe. What’s the big hoopla surrounding this kids shoe? The Air Jordan II in Lavendar and Deep Purple is the first female-designed Air Jordan in the history of the entire catalog, and bar’s been set pretty high for anyone else who is next in line. The sleek colorway was chosen by Vashtie Kola, a reputable name in the urban-fashion and hip-hop culture scene, and inspired by her clothing label Violette; this limited release will also come with special Violette tissue paper that matches the wholly feminine color-combination of purple tones and glittery laces. Again, these are a limited release with stock only going to the most select Jordan Brand retailers (House of Hoops in Harlem and Long Island being two known spots), so take another look after the jump and hit up Extra Butter on October 2nd for this historic release.

You’re looking at the second-to-last Size? 10th Anniversary Collaboration of 2010, and it comes in the form of the adidas Cardiff, the Welsh capital, in a colorway inspired by St. David, the Patron Saint of Wales.
